About us

JSC Alkena are a small family run company based in Klaipeda, Lithuania and we’ve been manufacturing kitchens and other furniture for more than 7 years.

We are experts in both modern and classic kitchen design using various materials such as MDF (glossy, high polished, matte), wood, Corian, glass.

We specialize in luxury individual kitchens, constantly striv-ing to offer the best service possible by focusing on individual requirements reflecting individual lifestyles, personal tastes and by using our considerable experience and expertise.

Individual kitchens require much more handwork and precision than standard ranges however we take pride in our results!

Communication regarding the kitchen project: HOW WE WORK

Step 1: Detailed drawingWe provide the detailed drawing.You send us that plan or sketch of the room with the measure-ments of the planned furniture you have designed including any description necessary and the detailed 3D designs are then produced generating a virtual plan of the entire room as well as the furniture. orYou provide the detailed drawing.In this case you send us any detailed design with all the measurements and we review it and may send our remarks or any suggestions.

Step 2: Coordination of price & delivery terms Having agreed on the final detailed drawing including all the details we finalize the price and the delivery date. The con-tract is signed and a down payment of 50 percent of the total project price is paid. The furniture is built with a fixed instal-lation date agreed.

Step 3: WorkshopA project usually takes 6-12 weeks to manufacture. A detailed schedule is created to give approximate timings for each phase of the project.

Step 4: InstallationOur own team of experienced fitters will then deliver and install the furniture in our vehicles and fitting takes an average of 3-5 days. We manufacture Corian worktops and this time is included into the total project time. The average project takes approx 8-10 weeks to complete.
