Billing frequency: Quarterly.

Billing method: Accounts to besent to the billing or email addressset out in your offer.

Early termination fee: If youterminate your energy contractbefore the expiry date or anotherretailer has become financiallyresponsible for your supply addressbefore then, you will be liable foran early termination fee. The feeis $132 (GST inclusive) if yourenergy contract ends after the 10business day cooling off periodends but within 3 months fromwhen the energy contract begins,

$55 (GST inclusive) if your energycontract ends after that 3 monthperiod ends but within 6 monthsfrom when the energy contractbegins and $22 (GST inclusive)if your energy contract ends afterthat 6 month period ends.

Payment smoothing discount

* FAIR GO – BUDGET SAVER can deliver you up to 12% off your usage charges. You get a 7% discount if you pay your account on time, or you get a 12% discount if you pay your account on time and elect to pay a ‘smoothed’ monthly instalment by direct debit. We’ll estimate your annualelectricity cost and then divide it into equal monthly instalments (billing and payments are on a quarterly cycle).

Our estimate of your annual electricity cost will be based on historical billing information from your previous energy retailer’s accounts or from our own information. If there is insufficient information available we will keep you on quarterly billing until we consider you have been a customer ofours for a sufficient qualifying period. During this qualifying period, you will still be eligible for the pay on time discount.

With monthly payment smoothing, you’ll still receive quarterly accounts detailing your energy consumption, however, as long as you’re making your monthly instalments by direct debit, there will be no amounts due on those quarterly accounts.

We will review your actual consumption against your instalments at least every 6 months, earlier if you ask, or if we consider there may be a significant difference between the two. If we find the two are significantly different, we will adjust your future instalments accordingly but only af terhaving given you 14 days prior notice of this change.

If our direct debit agreement with you is cancelled and in any event when your energy contract with us ends, we will likewise review your actual consumption against the instalments you have paid. Any difference between the two will be dealt with in accordance with the overcharging andundercharging terms of your energy contract.
