Results after corrugator Re-alignment:

a. Satisfied with the work done by Metso Paper and the Metso’s personal on-site.

b. Much better paper tension on the corrugator.

c. Much better temperature distribution across the width on medium and liners at all positions.

d. Big improvement on board quality in manufacturing E-Flute.

e. Corrugator in general is running better.

f. Good results with the re-alignment of the roll-stands

g. Triple stack was the major problem before the project, good improvement after the re-alignment.

h. Metso Paper is much more experience and are using better equipment comparing with BHS.

i. I think it is a very good idea to have Metso Paper on site during installation of a new corrugator. I

believe this could solve us a lot of issues in Värnamo when we installed the corrugator about 8 years

ago.

Stage 2: Re-alignment of Corrugators

The re-alignment process of the corrugator will be based on the

results and finding in stage1 (corrugator alignment measurement)

The most “critical” mis-alignment areas that has been founded in

stage 1 would be re-aligned (adjust)

New or adjustment of the existing reference line for the corrugator

Time consume between 2 to 4 days, depending on how much work is

needed to be done

Help and support from the locale maintenance team

Extensive and detailed report that summarize stage 2 will be

delivered to customer
