EconoDrain®

EconoDrain® is a pre-engineered trench forming

system made from expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam forming sections and steel frames for support-ing the various types of grates. Concrete is poured in place around the EPS foam forming the engi-neered trench. Once the concrete is cured overnight, the EPS foam is removed leaving the desired trench width, depth and slope. Grates are then placed in the frame rail and locked in place with either a single bolted toggle or two point lock down system per each grate. Custom slopes, depths, runs and square bottoms are also available. EconoDrain Weights & Measures EconoDrain form sections are 8’ long, and widths ranging from 4.5” to 24” and depths range from 4.25” up to 28.5”. Standard runs range from 264’ to 336’. EconoDrain standard form sections including the EPS foam and steel frames are light weight ranging from the smaller Series #4 (4.5” wide) system at 32 lbs., to the very large Series #24 (24” wide) at 88 lbs., making EconoDrain

® light weight, fast and easy

Miters Contractors can simply field cut and miter EconoDrain to fit any angle. Other products may require factory fabricated miters costing hundreds of dollars per cut, and slowing project completion. Should factory miters get damaged, this could jeopardize the project completion date and be very costly. Intersections and Corners Intersections and corners require no factory fabrication. An inexpensive EPS foam part is manufactured to fit any size EconoDrain section. Intersection EPS forms a snug fit between two intersecting sections, leaving a smooth transition between the two intersecting trenches.

EconoDrain PT-2 EconoDrain PT-2 Extended Service Trench Drain System is a pre-engineered trench forming system made from expanded polysty-rene (EPS) foam forming sections and steel frames for supporting the heavy duty ductile iron grates. Concrete is placed around the EPS foam forms, forming the engineered trench. Once the concrete is cured overnight, the EPS foam is then removed leaving the desired trench width, depth and slope. PT-2 grates are then placed in the frame rail and locked in place with either a single bolted tog-gle or locked down with a two point bolt down system per each grate. Alfa Channel Polymer Concrete (PC) features:

4” interior channel width, 0.6% Pre-sloped, radius bottom channel.

A continually sloped channel run of 98’ is obtainable. A center catch basin layout effective-ly doubles this distance.

System consists of 30 interlocking sloped channels. To extend the run length, insert in 4 locations, non-sloped channels.

Channel flow rates up to 380 gpm can be achieved (not including site-slab slope).

Full length channel anchor ribs provide mechanical lock into surrounding concrete.

Alfa Slot®

Alfa Slot is a light duty trench system manufactured from PVC pipe with chemically resistant polymer concrete slot drain. Alfa Slot is available in 1/4” and 1/2” slot openings. Polymer concrete saddles are used for fast and easy instal-lation as well as connection points and alignment when join-ing sections. PVC couplings are also available for connect-ing sections. ADA Compliant Alfa Slot has a polymer concrete top with a slot opening of 1/4” or 1/2” making it one of the few ADA compliant slot drains on the market. Also optional Heel Proof stainless steel covers are available. Clean lines and unmatched finishing capabilities make Alfa Slot a smart and cost effective solution for a wide variety of drainage problems.

The Alfa Slot system is an architectur-ally pleasing, low profile system that has superior flow compared to other com-petitors in its class. The larger pipe vol-ume under the slot drain keeps debris that passes through its opening moving to the outlet of the system. The large pipe also ensures plenty of flow. Typical applications are around swimming pools, shower stalls, sidewalks, pavil-ions, plazas, and anywhere else a near-ly invisible drain is advantageous.

MultiDrain®

is a versatile pre-engineered steel trench drain system.

The system options includes metal liners in galvanized and stainless steel.

Trench slopes from 0% to 1% are for optimal fluid velocity.

Custom made-to-order to fulfill specific site drainage project requirements.

EZ-Frame incorporates an adjustable anchor stand for leveling and grade adjustments.

EZ-Frame and spacer bars attach to metal channels using nuts and bolts.

Anchor stands and weld studs welded to the EZ-Frame assure secure anchorage into bed-

ding concrete.

Engineered to accept a variety of grating types and service loads.

Interlocking metal channel sections slip together easily. Joints may be sealed using a flexi-

ble caulk or by welding.
