Alexander Graham Bell EARLY LIFE Alexander Bell was born in Scotland in 1847. His dad was a scientist and his mum played the piano. As a child he wanted to know how sounds were made. He invented the telephone with the help of Thomas Watson in 1876. 1. 2. He set up the Bell Telephone Company in 1877. THE END OF HIS LIFE Bell died in 1922 in America, When he died, all the telephones in America were turned off to show respect.
