Are you just going to deliver content, or are you going to deliver content and make money from it?
Alex: This is Alex Mandossian, and this is module one of the two
module Hangout series called Hangout Monetization Secrets. This
series will teach you how to make money with Google Hangouts.
Now, there are two ways to approach Google Hangouts or any
other kind of virtual presentation. One is to deliver content, and
another way is to deliver content and make money from it. Both
directly or indirectly. This is all about monetization.
There are probably hundreds of people who have more followers
than me on Google+. There are probably hundreds of people
who have done more Hangouts than I have. At the time of this
presentation, I’ve done nearly 1,100 since this started a couple
of years ago. But I don’t think anyone has made more money
with Hangouts than I have.
I’ve made seven figures utilizing Google Hangouts as a virtual
presentation tool. I’m a master trainer for virtual trainers.
If you are a parent, you’re a trainer. If you are a boss, you’re
a trainer. If you’re an employee, you’re a trainer. If you are a
son or daughter, whether your parents are living or not living,
you’re still a trainer. At some time in your life, you have trained
someone to do something.
A trainer and a teacher are different. I want to make that perfectly
clear. I will give you my definition of a trainer, and you can see
whether you agree with me or not. You don’t have to believe me;
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 4© 2015 Alex Mandossian
The fastest, easiest, most economical way to train other trainers is via the virtual modality
you can make your choice. I believe a trainer is someone who
trains someone else to do the same thing in their area of expertise.
In other words, a trainer trains another teacher or trainer; whereas
a teacher trains a student, and it ends there.
For example, a teacher trains consumers. The students are
consumers of information. They absorb it. This is true for college,
high school, middle school or elementary school students,
just like my kids, who are in middle school. The teachers are
teaching those children, and it ends there because those kids are
consumers. The parents typically foot the bill, at least that’s true
with my kid’s private school.
Now, a trainer is different. A trainer teaches and trains other
teachers and other trainers who in turn train other trainers.
My goal with my good friend Jack Canfield is, by my 77th birthday,
which will be in 2031, to become a trainer who has influenced over
a million other trainers to train trainers. That’s not me or Jack or
anyone else directly training those folks, but indirectly doing so.
The fastest, easiest, most economical way to do that is via the
virtual modality, which is what we do with Google Hangouts.
Now, I started with teleseminars, which were very powerful, but
then teleseminars got “plussed” by Livestream, Ustream, webinars
and GoToMeetings, which I believe have now been “plussed” by
Google Hangouts and YouTube live.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 5© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Hangouts are the engagement platform for Google+, which is a social media search engine for Google
Why? It’s because Google owns Google+ and YouTube.
Google does not own Livestream, Ustream, any other streams,
GoToMeeting or any other virtual paradigm or platform.
I believe in Hangouts. Hangouts are the engagement platform for
Google+, which is a social media search engine for Google. You
are here to learn how to monetize Hangouts.
Right now, I want you to go to the page where the video recording
of this module is found, and there is a button there to click on.
That button will get you an Action Guide. It is found at:
www.HangoutMarketingChallenge.com/monetizationreplays/
I have that same Action Guide, and I have filled it out because I
always do what I ask you to do.
One of my assistants on this Hangout is Sandra Bravo. Sandra,
go ahead and let everyone know where you’re hanging out from
and what your job is over there.
Sandra: Hi, everyone. This is Sandra. I’m hanging out from Gold Coast,
Australia, and I assist Alex on the live Hangouts. I engage with
people on the chats during the live recording. During that time,
you can leave your comments, as well as let us know where you’re
hanging out from. I also share my screen during the live Hangouts
to show you the Action Guide with Alex. I’m here to support him.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 6© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Be sure to make your Hangouts evergreen by repurposing them
Alex: The reason I provide an Action Guide is so you don’t multitask.
I want you to be fully engaged in this module. The screen shot to
the right shows you the exact
page that we’re talking about.
Now, when you go to this page,
this is where the replay of the
video recording of this module
is now available. For those
who watched this module live,
we had a Hangout schedule
on this page. The live module
aired here, and the comments
section was available to the
participants.
This is the way we do Hangouts.
Now, once we pass the dates on
the schedule, the Hangouts are
evergreen, and that’s where the
repurposing comes in.
Then, you see on this page
where we have the buttons that
say, “Download Your Action
Guide.” This is Monetization Hangout #1, so click on the button
that says, “Download Your Action Guide for Hangout #1.” The
Action Guide is two pages, and it’s a PDF.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 7© 2015 Alex Mandossian
You need to use action cards during your Hangouts in order to help you monetize them
There are four questions on the first page, and then on the
second page, there is a diagram called “The Repurposing
Roadmap,” which is a two-phase process. It is life changing. It
will change the way you monetize Hangouts forever. I will be
getting to that in a moment.
Right now, I just want to make sure you print out the Action
Guide. Do that right now so that you can not only look at it and
physically have it in front of you, but also so you can file it away
for future use. I want you to write on it old school style. I use a
pencil because pencils have something that we have forgotten
called an eraser. Do that right now, and we’ll be starting in on
that content in just a moment.
You will see on the first page that question #1 says, “What is ‘Root
Content,’ and how can it MONETIZE your G+ Hangouts?”
What you will also see me do in my
Hangouts, which I recommend you do
with your Hangouts to help you monetize
them, is to use what I call action cards.
They are almost analogous to a flip chart
that you might have on stage. I train a lot
from stage. In fact, I train with Sandra,
who’s on this Hangout.
I want you to do the same thing with
action cards. Don’t feel like you’re
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 8© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Some people make big mistakes with Hangouts, such as not looking into the camera and not using tools to get rid of the talking head
copying me. I want you to model what I do. When I put up a card,
like the “What is Root Content?” card, it gets your attention.
Plus, it’s more than just a talking head.
There are a few mistakes that people make with a Hangout. I
might as well go over them right now.
One of the mistakes is not looking into the camera. You can also
lean close to the camera to really make a point. When you don’t
look into the camera, you tend to look at the computer screen,
and when you look at the screen instead of the camera, you are
no longer looking at your audience and engaging them.
When I don’t look at the camera, you’re not seeing my soul. The
eyes are the windows to the soul. Not looking at the camera is
the first mistake people make.
The second mistake is they don’t use tools to get rid of the
talking head. I’m a talking head when I’m presenting a Hangout,
and that’s not very interesting. You won’t be very interesting
either, but if you have tools like the action cards and like the
Action Guide where people are actually writing in the answers,
that’s a lot more interesting.
It’s a big mistake if you don’t have an Action Guide, especially
for people who paid for your Hangouts. You’ve paid to watch this
Hangout. You’ve gotten access to our Productivity Secrets, and
you’ve gotten many bonus gifts. What I want to do is increase
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 9© 2015 Alex Mandossian
The moment you make a dollar on a Hangout is the moment you’ve turned pro
the yield of your learning so that you actually prove the concept
that you can monetize Hangouts.
What does it take to turn pro on a Google Hangout? One dollar.
The moment you make a dollar is the moment you’ve turned
pro, and it’s a lot more difficult making a dollar than you think.
Once you’ve made a dollar, you’ve closed the loop, and in
closing the loop, you are capable of making money on Hangouts
again and again and again.
I’m going to prove to you that not only is it possible to monetize
Google Hangouts, it’s also easier than you think—even if you’ve
never done it before.
So mistake number two is not using props or tools, like an action
guide or action cards.
Mistake number three is not a mistake I made today, but I’ve
made it many, many times. It is not clicking the broadcast
button. There’s a green broadcast button that turns red inside
this Hangout. The host is inside a Hangout. The participants are
outside the Hangout.
Because of the comments during a Hangout, I can acknowledge
the people who are hanging out with me. For example, during
the live Hangout of this module, Diane from Auckland, New
Zealand said she was excited to be here. Sandy Walsh from the
Southern Alps of France was hanging out. Maria was hanging out
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 10© 2015 Alex Mandossian
The fastest way to have a social conversation is utilizing Facebook or Google+ comments
from St. George, Utah, and she left the comment, “I love cards. I
use them all the time.” Kimchi Chow was hanging out from San
Jose, California, and there were many more.
Wherever you’re hanging out from, the easiest and fastest way
to have a social conversation outside of the Hangout while the
Hangout is going on is utilizing Facebook or Google+ comments.
In the comments section, simply state your name and where
you’re hanging out from. I did that during this Hangout. It doesn’t
pay to be shy on a Hangout.
Let me show you what I mean. In the first example you can see
where I left my comment, “Hi, I’m Alex, and I am hanging out
from San Rafael, California.”
When I click on reverse
chronological then we
see Sandy Walsh, Maria,
Kimchi, Diane and so on.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 11© 2015 Alex Mandossian
It always pays to like or reply to comments
So join the social conversation. You can comment on Google+,
as well Facebook. You decide. Most people prefer Facebook for
some reason. We utilize Facebook, which isn’t even owned by
Google. Yet, they still work together.
I can type in anything, such as, “Please let us know where you are
hanging out from below.” Then, I click on the button that says,
“Comment.” That comments will show up at the very top.
Now, you can “like” the comments that people make, right? It
always pays to like or reply to the comments. This comment
section is where you have a social conversation. If you refresh the
page, always go down to reverse chronological to see the most
recent comments posted.
When I refresh the comments, I can see that Mark is hangout out
from sunny British Columbia. Hanging out from Philadelphia is
Naketa. Pamela from Alaska says that it’s a wonderful day.
You can see that’s the proof.
Once again, I want to remind you to download your Action
Guide if you have not done so already.
Another mistake I want to mention is when the speaker types
during a live Hangout. That’s another mistake that people make.
I made that mistake when I was typing my comment in the live
module. Why is that a mistake? When I’m typing, Google actually
mutes my microphone because they don’t want to be rude to the
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 12© 2015 Alex Mandossian
When I put the word “tested” in a headline, it means I’ve been embarrassed so you don’t have to be
participants. You shouldn’t have to hear the clicking keys as I’m
typing. It mutes me out. So that’s a mistake that people make.
So remember to click on the broadcast button. It’s a mistake if
you don’t. Make sure you have a props, like the action cards and
Action Guide. This is also a mistake if you don’t. You also want
to look at the camera.
One other mistake is not having a call to action. It is important
to have a call to action at the bottom of your Action Guide. On
the bottom of page 2 of the Action Guide for this module, there’s
a call to action to have a free strategy session, aka a rapid revenue
session, with me at MarketingOCD.com.
During the second module of this two-module training, you will
learn how to do strategy sessions. I’ve been doing strategy sessions
for over 14 years. I personally don’t know of anyone who’s done
these for that long. I’ve made most of the mistakes for you, and
when I put the word “tested” in a headline, that means I’ve been
embarrassed so you don’t have to be.
Sandra, do you have any comments or points of clarity you want
to make before we begin on the Action Guide?
Sandra: I’m glad that you remembered to tell them about the typing. It’s
really exciting to see people engaging and excited to be here,
which is wonderful.

Root content is content that is worthy of devotion because it is like the root to a tree
Alex: Okay. Keep engaging, and I will have a few polling question to
increase your engagement. Right now, let’s go straight to the
Action Guide. By now, you have printed it out so you can write
in your answers as we go.
The first question is, “What is ‘Root Content’?” We are in an
era where the content provider is also a search engine optimizer.
Root content is content that is worthy of devotion. Write this
down as an answer. Root content is like the root to a tree.
You’ve heard of a root canal, right? A dentist works on those.
Maybe you’ve heard of the roots to the fruits. They are the roots
to a plant or a tree that provides the fruit. You see the fruit above
the soil, but underneath, there’s the root that you don’t see.
Then maybe you have heard of what a root lama or a root
teacher is. In the Buddhism tradition, the root lama is your main
teacher. The Latin word for this person is magister. Of course,
in the Judaic history, the rabbi is the teacher. Regardless of your
spiritual or non-spiritual persuasion, you always have a teacher
you are learning from.
Root content is the starting point. The key is discovering what
root content is, and the answer is video.
A Hangout is your fastest and easiest means of developing root
content because you get three for one. What’s the three for one?
Let’s look at one piece of content, such as a seven- to 10-minute
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 14© 2015 Alex Mandossian
When you do a Hangout, you have the visual word, the spoken word and the written word—three in one
Hangout. This Hangout is a lot longer, but I can do the same
thing with this Hangout as I’m going to do with the examples
that I’m going to show you.
For a Hangout, which is very simple, I believe all you need is a
web camera and an Internet connection. With those, you can get
three for one. Now, what’s the three for one?
You’re doing one thing, and that is the video. Yet, you are
automatically getting three things. You are getting:
3 VISUAL WORD—the visual video that they see
3 SPOKEN WORD—the audio that they hear
3 WRITTEN WORD—the text that they read
Once you record the video, which is the visual word, you can pull
the audio from that video without having to redo it. Now, if you
just did audio first, that’s not root content because then you’ve
got to do a separate video.
Do a video. I don’t care if you have a face for radio or not. It
doesn’t matter. I don’t care if you have a screen-capture video
that you want to use because you don’t want to show your face.
It’s not necessary to show your face like I do. I do it because it’s
more personal. Just be sure you have video.
When you do a Hangout, you have the visual word, number
one, which Google just loves. Number two, you have the spoken
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 15© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Less important content getting more reach has more impact than very important content with very little reach
word, and then number three, you have the written word. You
have what’s called three for one.
It’s not three for the price of one. It’s more valuable than price or
cost because money is a renewable resource, whereas time is not.
It’s three for one with your time freedom and liberation because
you get the visual, spoken and written word from one session.
Write that down. It is a faster, better and easier way to get
market reach. This is what we’re talking about—market reach.
How do you become more relevant on Google? You get market
reach. How do you become number one on Google? You get
market reach. How do you become more trustworthy as a trusted
authority? You get more market reach. When you are everywhere
at the same time, you have more credibility because people just
assume that you are more important because you are everywhere.
It’s not so much what you’re saying that’s more important these
days. It’s more important to get more reach, even if what you say
is brief and not very important. Actually, less important content
getting more reach has more impact than very important content
with very little reach. This is very, very important and very
critical if you want to be a trusted authority and be considered
relevant in your area of expertise.
Now, if you don’t know your area of expertise, I can’t help you.
You must have your own vision. You’ve got to have your own
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 16© 2015 Alex Mandossian
More market reach means more money with the same content
topic or content. You can be doing it for somebody else as a
consultant or coach. That’s what this training is all about.
My point is, utilizing Hangouts to get more market reach is
critical, and you get market reach through root content. Root
content is a Hangout that’s at least seven minutes in length.
Now, more market reach means more money with the same
content. Let me repeat. More market reach means more money.
Now, let me share with you what I have written for my first
answer in the Action Guide:
Video is the easiest content to repurpose. You get 3 for 1.
Visual, Spoken and Written. More “Marketing Reach” =
More $. Same content!
What does repurpose mean? Repurpose means using the same
content again and again and getting more results. That’s not the
definition of insanity. That’s the definition of outrageous success.
That’s like going to heaven without the inconvenience of dying.
By the way, sloppy success is better than perfect mediocrity.
You can test and track whether the content you’re utilizing is
worthwhile from seven to 10 minutes at a time. Why seven to
10 minutes? It’s easier than 20 to 30 minutes at a time, which is
easier than 50 to 60 minutes.

In order to monetize your Hangouts, you must have market reach and a call to action
Now, the live Hangout for this module is over 60 minutes. Unless
you’re well-versed on how to do Hangouts, I don’t recommend
you start there. I’ve done over 1,100 of them.
I use Hangouts for my weekly huddles. I use Hangouts for strategy
sessions. I use Hangouts for root coaching. I use Hangouts
to teach others how to do Hangouts. I use Hangouts to teach
monetization. I use Hangouts to make six to seven figures
regularly since Hangouts have been available.
I do this by using this modality in teaching others how to
further and broaden their marketing reach in their business.
I teach exposure. That’s what root content is, and for me, it’s
about monetization.
For the second part of question #1, which asks, “How can it
monetize your G+ Hangouts,” you need market reach, and you
need a call to action in order to monetize.
Sandra, let me come to you and get some clarity. Does that make
sense to you? Do you want to add any comments?
Sandra: Yes, it makes perfect sense. The more reach and the more content
you have, the more money you make, which is what we all want.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 18© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Quantity is key rather than quality because the person with the most reach wins
Alex: Many people think that quality is the key. It’s not. It’s quantity.
Quantity is the key.
How do I know? There are plenty of great quality, and people die
in obscurity. Nikola Tesla was one of those people. You’ve heard
of the Tesla car. However, Tesla died, and all the notoriety was
given to Thomas Edison. I believe Nikola Tesla was the smarter
person with the higher quality mind, but he died in obscurity.
The same goes for Alexander Bain. Who is that? He is the guy
who invented the fax machine. He died, and the fax machine
really wasn’t part of the networking channels that were developed
in the 1980’s and 90’s with the old thermal paper fax machines.
So today the fax machine has become obsolete.
Who invented the cassette tape? I don’t know. Who invented
the eight-track tape? Who knows? Who invented the CD? I
don’t know. It’s the people who produce the most reach who get
the most notoriety.
Did Steve Jobs invent the MP3 player? No, but the iPod
changed the way we live our lives and the way we do business.
Did he invent the music business? No, but iTunes changed and
democratized the music business so we could get 10,000 songs on
one little device. Steve Jobs didn’t invent the mobile phone, but
we now have the iPhone because of him.
The person who has the most reach wins, and that’s what I want
to teach you because it’s about monetization.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 19© 2015 Alex Mandossian
The key to success is market reach because market reach produces monetization
The bottom line is:
KEY TO SUCCE$$ IS… MARKET REACH!
Market reach is the key. That is the first of many answers on
this Hangout.
Now, the second question on your Action Guide is, “Why are
these useful EXAMPLES of ‘Root Content’ to study?” Why are
these useful to study?
LEARN FROM CASE STUDIE$
I have given you four examples in your Action Guide, and I
want you to learn from those and watch those case studies as
continuing education—additional education. Those were free
Hangouts that I did. In the first example, you will hear this at the
very beginning:
My name is Alex Mandossian, and I am live. I’m here in
Marine County, Northern California in the beautiful city
of San Rafael in my office. You see my lucky bamboo in the
background and my $85 IKEA bridge leading to the tree of
knowledge separating the fog there in the background. That is
not a green screen. That is actually ...
What is this? This is an actual Hangout I did on one of my Fridays
where I had three Hangouts in one. Okay? You can find it at:
www.AlexVideoTips.com/Repurpose.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 20© 2015 Alex Mandossian
When you title your Google Hangouts, it’s critical that you title them with appropriate keywords
What we did is an hour and 14 minute Hangout, which I want
you to watch. The purpose of this is, when you watch this, you’re
going to see that there are three Hangouts embedded. Now, the
three Hangouts are examples two, three and four.
The name of this Hangout was “Monetizing Google Hangouts—
Repurposing.” The reason why I titled it that way is because that
gets me Google juice, meaning I get more notoriety on Google.
So “Repurposing” is the main title here. Alright?
When you title your Google Hangouts, it’s critical that you
title them with the keywords that you want. At the time of this
writing, I only had 191 views, but I still have a lot of Google
juice. I’ll show you what that is later on in this presentation.
In the live Hangout for this module, you can see that I have the
same background. I’m wearing something different, and I have
different glasses. It’s an hour and 14 minutes because I actually
take you step by step into how to repurpose Hangouts. You may
have seen this live.
The reason I want you to watch that is because it’s a Hangout
that has three Hangouts embedded. The three Hangouts that are
embedded are: The 9 Strategies for Repurposing, The 3 Mistakes
People Make, and The 2-Step Process on How to Repurpose,
which we’re going to talk about in this module, too.
Those are the case studies, and the reason those case studies are
so important is because, when you watch it on your own time,
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 21© 2015 Alex Mandossian
By creating content once and then repurposing that existing content, that makes market reach easier
they are actual examples that I have utilized and given to my
outsourcing team to repurpose. They take you through the process
that you can do on your own or give to our outsourcing team or
another outsourcing team to do what I’m suggesting for you to do.
All you do is create content, and then someone else does all the
work for you. That’s what I recommend; otherwise, it’s not a good
use of your time.
Now, the outsourcing costs money, but when you factor the
amount of time it’s going to take for you to do it versus hiring
them to do, it’s worthwhile to hire them.
Not only that, if you actually allot a dollar amount for the time
that you would be spending to do this, then you’d find that you
would be working at a very low dollar-per-hour rate when you
do it yourself. You want to offset that to the outsourcing group
instead, and we’ll give you some resources of where to go if you’d
like to utilize our team or other teams.
The most important thing regarding question number two in why
these examples are useful is because they eliminate uncertainty.
See, I want you to learn from the case studies because these case
studies make market reach easier. Okay?
MARKET REACH IS EASIER WITH REPURPOSING
Repurposing makes market reach easier. It’s not by creating new
content; it’s by repurposing existing content. Let me repeat. It
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 22© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Massive reach with one type of content that is repurposed is much more powerful for your bottom line than to come up with new content
is insane to create new content, write a new book or come up
with new stuff again and again and again. Why? First of all, you
confuse your market.
This is a big takeaway. So I hope that when I come to the take-
away section, which we’ll do soon with the question, What’s
your biggest takeaway so far,” that you’re going to have a social
conversation on this tip alone.
Rather than creating new content, I want you to repurpose the
existing content because more reach with the same content
has more power than less reach with unique content. Let
me repeat. Massive reach with one type of content—the same
content just repurposed—is much more powerful for your
bottom line monetization (which is the topic here) than to
come up with new content.
Most people make the mistake of constantly trying to create new
content because they are into new. Instead of remarketing in new
ways, they want to come up with new root content.
New roots mean new trees, and guess what? If you’re not watering
the same tree, if you’re not providing nutrients to the same tree,
that root is eventually going to die. Then, there’s no fruit.
Focus on your tree of life—on the tree of life of your business—
and repurpose the same content again and again and again.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 23© 2015 Alex Mandossian
You can eliminate uncertainty in your marketing calendar by repurposing
In my second example, you will see that I have a “9 Strategies”
Hangout that is eight minutes and 15 seconds long. Why is it only
eight minutes and 15 seconds long? It’s easier and less expensive
to have it transcribed.
What is transcription? Transcription is going back to the written
word. The spoken word is there during the Hangout with the
audio, and the visual word is there with the video. However, the
transcription is the written word.
It costs less to transcribe a seven- to 10-minute Hangout than
it does an hour-long Hangout, right? That’s why we do seven-
to 10-minute Hangouts. Examples #2, #3 and #4 are all within
seven to 10 minutes. One is eight minutes and 15 seconds.
Another is nine minutes and 19 seconds, and the third is eight
minutes and 13 seconds.
All of those have been lifted from the first example I have at the
very top of the list, which is one hour and 14 minutes. There, I
explain the whole thing. I can’t be anymore clear in this process
of what happens when you repurpose and outsource.
Here is the tip, which is what I wrote for my answer to #2 in the
Action Guide:
Eliminate “uncertainty” of your marketing calendar. See
exactly how I did it lifted from ONE. HOA marketing (HOA=
Hangout On Air) to a “moving parade” not a grand stand.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 24© 2015 Alex Mandossian
People won’t get tired of your content since they are a moving parade—you’re the one who is going to get tired of your content
What does a “moving parade” mean? Your market is moving
constantly. Therefore, you are marketing to a moving parade. So,
they are not going to get tired of your content—you’re going to
get tired of your content.
You’re not marketing to a grandstand. People aren’t just sitting
there and watching. Don’t think they get tired of your content.
You can provide the exact same content again, like I’m doing
for many of you. Some of you have watched the Hangouts that
I’m giving you live, but you’re not the same person now that you
were before. Am I right?
You are constantly marketing to a parade, and their mind is a
parade. People are constantly moving. Now, even if they are in
the grandstand and are watching you regularly, like many loyal
followers that I have, their mind is still like a parade. The mind
is active, and it’s constantly moving.
Sandra, I’m going to come back to you now. Give me some insights
on what you’ve learned so far and any big takeaways because I
want to learn the biggest takeaway that people have.
What’s your biggest takeaway so far?
Sandra: My biggest takeaway so far was when you said it is about quantity,
not quality. That was a big distinction for me. Thank you. It’s
different from what I had in mind.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 25© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Sloppy success is better than perfect mediocrity
Alex: Of course, that doesn’t mean that quality doesn’t matter. I’m
providing quality now, but by asking you to provide your biggest
takeaway, the quality will even get better. I learn a lot when you
tell me what you have found to be a big “Aha!” or takeaway. I
like to call it a “pack my bag moment,” where you could just pack
your bags and leave because you got what you needed, right?
Write down your takeaway in your Action Guide. Also, type it
into the social conversation on Facebook or Google+ so that I
can read those takeaways and get a better sense of your needs.
Being shy will only make you miss out on the opportunity here.
Take a look at the case studies later on, and I hope that you not
only address what I’m doing and actually follow up, but you also
make money from it.
Now, let’s move onto the third question in the Action Guide, which
has a typo. It should say, “How do you create an EDITORIAL
CALENDAR on a weekly basis?” That typo is an example of the
saying, “Sloppy success is better than perfect mediocrity.”
So, how do you create an editorial calendar on a weekly basis?
That’s the question. People will come back to me and say, “Alex, I
saw a mistake.” I say, “Yup, I’m a sloppy success millionaire. I make
mistakes because I put out a lot of good content fast. Quantity is
better than quality, and I hope that you’re forgiving.”
Guess what? My bank account is forgiving. So I hope that you
apply what I’m learning here.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 26© 2015 Alex Mandossian
With your first week of content, you go wide and shallow
Now, here’s what I know to be true. Write this down in your
notes. Five tips will get you six weeks of editorial content. Again,
five tips create six weeks of editorial content. How do you create
an editorial calendar? Your five tips will yield six weeks of video
content. That maybe an “Aha” moment for you.
Six tips will yield seven weeks of video content, and nine tips
will yield 10 weeks of video content.
Why is that true? It’s because the first piece of video content is
the five tip overview. It could be ten tips, three tips or however
many tips you want. You can call them steps, secrets or tactics. I
don’t care what you call them, but do more than one.
Let’s say you have five tips. That’s simple, right? In the first
session, that’s where you’re going wide and shallow. You can’t
go very deep with each of the tip in that first session, so you’re
going to go wide and shallow. I’m going to show you an example
of what wide and shallow looks like.
Wide and shallow is like going wide with one Hangout, whether
it’s seven minutes, eight minutes, nine minutes or 10 minutes,
and it looks something like this.
Tip#1
Tip#2
Tip#3
Tip#4
Tip#5
WEEK 1

With any Hangout series, use Week 1 to give an overview of all the tips they are going to learn about
This could apply to three, four, five, six, seven or more tip
Hangout. I went wide and shallow. Now, that’s week one. Week
one is that first Hangout.
Now, week number two is going deep with tip number one. Let
me show you what that looks like:
When you go deep with week number two, you’re going deep
with the first of the tips that you mentioned on week one. Week
number three is going deep on tip number two. Week number
four is tip three and so on.
In the case of seven tips, we have eight weeks of content with one
Hangout series, and what happens is you use the same keywords
for each so that you’re dominating those keywords in that
Hangout process. The beauty of this is on your Twitter, on your
audio podcast, with your articles, with YouTube, with Facebook,
with LinkedIn, with Google+, with your blog and with whatever

WEEK 1
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 28© 2015 Alex Mandossian
When you have an editorial calendar, you don’t have to manage the uncertainty like most entrepreneurs and business people do
else it is that you’re utilizing, you’re focused just on that tip that
you’re teaching that week.
You have an editorial calendar, so you are aligned. You are
integrated. In other words, you’re marketing integrity, and you’re
going to monetize because everything is going to an irresistible
offer that you hopefully have. You do this six weeks, eight weeks,
five weeks at a time. Am I making sense? This is the way you:
DOMINATE YOUR KEYWORDS ON GOOGLE.COM!!
Five tips will get you six weeks of content. Now, let me show you
the answer I wrote down.
5 tips / secrets / steps of root content yields six weeks of aligned,
integrated editorial calendar. It marks the beginning of certainty
and predictability.
What are we doing as entrepreneurs and business people? We
are managing uncertainty. When you have an editorial calendar,
you don’t have to manage the uncertainty. The uncertainty is
managed for you. How?
Like a magazine, you know exactly what’s coming up in week
two, three, four, five and six. Then, during that timeframe, you
can plan another topic and start something else.
I have done this with “Business and Marketing Myths.” I’ve done
this with “Hangout Marketing Mistakes.” I’ve done this with
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 29© 2015 Alex Mandossian
You’ll dominate keyword phrases
“Repurposing.” Why? I’ve just chosen the fruit topic, and then
I’ve used the root content as a Hangout, which has blossomed.
So I have dominated the keyword phrases as a result.
Let’s take a look at how you can dominate keyword phrases, and
that is number four in your Action Guide. “What if you utilize
the REPURPOSING ROADMAP, what could happen to your
business in 30 days? 90 days? 1 year?”
What if you dominated root content? Your business
is going to change. Let me show you. I have three
screens here, so I’m going to show you what Google
looks like for me.
Let me show you what can happen in seven days
because this is what happened to me. You’re going to
dominate your Google keyword phrases. When I type
in “make money with Google Hangouts” into Google’s
search bar, then you will see in the screen capture to
the left that I am number one, two, three and four.
So I’m the top four. Kira is number five. Then, I am
number six, and you can see my picture there.
Now, why is this so powerful?
I can go to Kira and say, “Hey, would you like to joint
venture? Look, I’m in the top results for Google. There
are over 1.6 million results, and that’s only going to
increase. Let’s make money with Hangouts.”
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 30© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Let’s take another example. These are my keywords that I
am using. In this case, I type in “funnel marketing king.”
When I click search, then what you see is a paid ad at
the very top, and then the rest on the page are all mine.
Literally all of these are mine. There are almost a million
results, and I own all of the top results.
Why?
It’s because “funnel marketing king” is the keyword phrase
that I want to dominate.
Let’s take a look at the keyword phrase “monetize Google
Hangouts.” Let see how I do with that one. I am number
two and number three here. Do you see it? I’m not
number one, as that’s
a community.
Wouldn’t you be will-
ing to live with number
two and number three.
Understand that with
whoever else is in the
top 10 of some of these
keyword phrases, you
have an opportunity
to go to them not only
to get traffic in order
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 31© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Quality does not always mean credibility, and when you are credible, then it’s a lot easier to do a joint venture with someone
to become number one, but also to say to them, “Here’s the proof
of concept. This is my credibility. Let’s joint venture.”
Being number one is not just about making money. That’s
where a lot of people go wrong. They think about quality
being the thing. It’s not just about being number one; it’s about
credibility. When you are credible, then it’s a lot easier to do a
joint venture with someone.
Who do you do a joint venture with? You joint venture with
whoever else is on page one.
When it comes to dominating Google Hangouts and dominating
your niche with keywords in Google, what’s the fastest way to
do that? Well, Facebook is powerful. LinkedIn is powerful, and
so is Twitter. However, those companies and those platforms are
not owned by Google.
Google owns Google Hangouts, Google+ and YouTube. So, if
you’re going to do this, I recommend you monetize with Google
Hangouts. In addition, make sure the titles to your Hangouts are
just as powerful. Alright?
That brings us to Page 2 of your Action Guide. Now, this is a
profound page because this is the fifth generation of where we’ve
started. This is called “The Repurposing Roadmap.”
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 32© 2015 Alex Mandossian
By utilizing this Repurposing Roadmap, you will get maximum online exposure in minimum time
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 33© 2015 Alex Mandossian
The root has to do with the very basis or the seed of starting something
I told you earlier that there are the roots to the fruits. There are
the root teachers or root lamas that you may have. There is the
root canal inside your teeth. The root has to do with the very
basis or the seed of starting something.
Let’s start with Phase 1. Let me show you what Phase 1 looks like.
Each week there are two phases. You can see at the top of the
diagram that it says “2-Phase Process.”
This is the fifth version of this graphic that I have used. The
reason I use diagrams is because people learn from them, and we’re
making this one better and better. In fact, with the woman who
created this for me, I gave her the basics, and then she created
this. It was actually Sandra’s cousin, Lucy, in Mexico City.
I like to call it the roadmap because that’s what it is.
In Phase 1, you have a Google Hangout. That is seven to 10
minutes long. You then make the transcript, pull the audio,
and pull the video. Those three are already there because you
have used a Hangout to create root content. Therefore, you get
maximum online exposure in minimum time. Actually you also
do so with minimum effort.
Phase 2 happens in the same week, and these are the things we
do automatically. First, we have an irresistible offer page (center
circle on diagram) so people are directed to our irresistible
offer. For us, it’s MarketingOCD.com. That’s where I go for my
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 34© 2015 Alex Mandossian
For less than $800 per month, you will get marketing reach beyond your wildest dreams and dominate your keywords very quickly
high-end strategy sessions. Don’t go there unless you are open to
paying at least $10,000 to get coached by me. You can check it
out, but don’t sign up for a strategy session unless you feel you can
responsibly pay that amount of money.
We take traffic from the Internet, and we drive it here to this
irresistible offer page. Now, what happens? We utilize our
YouTube, article directories, Google+ page posts, Facebook fan
posts, LinkedIn, online press releases, blog posts, audio podcasts,
web 2.0 posts and Twitter tweets.
This is all done by my outsourcing team. Now, if you would like
to learn more about how we do it and get to learn what the fee
is, simply go to MarketingOnlineSupport.com and ask about
outsourcing that. We can do for you. I will do it at my cost plus
$20 because you are in this course.
It’s not inexpensive. It’s not going to cost you $20. It’s going to cost
a couple hundred dollars a week, but you will get marketing reach
beyond your wildest dreams. You will also dominate keywords very
quickly for less than $800 per month. It’s not dirt cheap, but it’s
reasonable compared to what’s happening for you. It’s certainly a
lot less expensive than you doing it yourself.
No one is making you do it. You can do it yourself.
This is what you do. You take your root content. You have the
transcript, the audio and the video. The video goes on YouTube.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 35© 2015 Alex Mandossian
If you want higher-end clients, you must do a strategy session
The transcript is repurposed and put into article directories. We
have our people do this automatically. The Twitter tweets are
being pulled from the transcript itself.
The audio podcast is when we take the spoken word of the audio
and make it a podcast. So now that is on iTunes. At that point,
we have Apple juice, not just Google juice.
We have blog post from transcripts and online press releases. We
do all of the items in Phase 2. Then, where do we send them? We
send them to our irresistable offer page at MarketingOCD.com.
Now, in our second module, I’m going to show you how to actually
do a world-class strategy session. Most people don’t know how to
do strategy sessions. We call them rapid revenue sessions.
It doesn’t always have to be about revenue, but most people do
strategy sessions based on business to business. So, if you want
higher-end clients, you need to do a strategy session. I like to do
these via group, and I will show you exactly what I’ve done in
group sessions, as well as in one-on-one sessions. I will also show
you where I send them to do pre-training for the strategy session.
MarketingOCD.com is the strategy session reservation form, and
what we do for our irresistable offer is we give a keyword so that
they don’t have to pay the $197 strategy session fee, which most
people pay. The VIPs don’t, but most people pay that.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 36© 2015 Alex Mandossian
There is less juice with transcripts and less relevance with audio than with video on Google
It’s a built-in process that is not only world class, but it also
works to get $10,000 to $25,000 high-end clients for me. Now,
I’m not saying you’re going to do that, but if you get 10% or
20% of what I’m getting, then you’re doing much better than
what you would be doing now.
All that’s happening in order to make this happen is doing Google
Hangouts for seven to 10 minutes a week. You can do more if you
want, but that is done in a two-phase process, just like I showed
you on Page 2 of your Action Guide.
I made notes on this page. Above “Root Content,” I wrote:
3 ROOT —> FRUITS
3 ROOT LAMA
3 ROOT CANAL
I mean I write everything that I teach you. Beside a transcript,
I wrote, “Less Juice” because you get less juice with the written
word these days. Now, back in the day, the written word was key,
but there’s less Google juice with the written word.
By audio, I wrote, “Less Relevant.” Why? It’s because YouTube
is owned by Google, and therefore, videos are given the highest
level of relevance.
Beside video, I wrote, “Less Work if you start.” Video creates less
work if you start with it. That’s what I have here.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 37© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Google discriminates in favor of Google+, YouTube and Hangouts
I used to create audio as the starting point with teleseminars, but
now that video is what it is, I always start with video, pull the
audio and then pull the written word to transcript.
Then, in the margin of the Phase 2 section, I wrote, “Exposure
is key to a lead generation system.” If you want a lead generation
system, you need exposure. This is a lead generation system.
This one-page repurposing roadmap can be worth millions of
dollars over a year’s time.
I know people that I can hand this diagram to, and they could
double their business. They could go from $20 million to $40
million dollars a year if they utilize this, and I’m charging them
$25,000 to teach this for one day.
Next, I wrote, “Hangouts are your fastest, easiest, most reliable
way to become #1 on Google.” Don’t believe me? In fact, if you
don’t, I hope we compete with each other. Why would I say that?
How can I say that?
It’s not because it’s self-serving. It’s because Hangouts are owned
by Google. YouTube is owned by Google, too. So, who is Google
going to discriminate in favor of? Well, it’s not in favor of
Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter or any other social media platform.
It discriminates in favor of Google+, YouTube and Hangouts. A
Hangout is the engagement mechanism that Google+ utilizes.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 38© 2015 Alex Mandossian
You don’t have to be perfect—you just need a parachute so that, if you screw up, you have a parachute that allows you to sky dive to safety
Now, it has it’s problems like anything else, but if you want to
dominate keywords, using Hangouts is the fastest easiest way to
do it without search engine optimization.
During the live Hangout recording of this module, we had more
people watching at this point in the session than we did at the
very beginning. That made me very happy.
One thing about a Google Hangout is that you can talk for 50
minutes and keep people engaged. My mother, Carol, said to
me, “Alex, how can anyone listen to you for more than five
minutes?” Well, I’ve seen that people will stay with me on a
Hangout for a long time.
Many people will not go to a web page for more than 50 seconds,
but I can have people watching me for 50 minutes on a Google
Hangout. You can do the same, right?
You don’t have to be first to win this game. The early bird may get
the worm, but it’s the second mouse that gets the cheese. You don’t
have to be perfect. You just need a parachute so that, if you screw
up, you have a parachute that allows you to sky dive to safety.
You don’t need this parachute to sky dive—you need a parachute
to sky dive more than once. I’m just giving you a parachute
so you can sky dive again and again and again. It has a thrill-
seeking feel to it, but you can sky dive as often as you want and
land safely to the ground.

You can get articles, press releases, social media post and so much more out of only seven minutes of spoken word
Sandra, let me get your input. Does anything need to be clarified?
Are there any questions? Is there anything you want to add to
this as you’ve been following along?
Sandra: One of the biggest things for me is the whole repurposing because
I’m not a creative person myself. So repurposing is ideal because
I don’t have to be constantly thinking, “What else can I create
or do right now?” As you said, when it comes to content, we can
get so many things out of just one seven-minute Hangout.
I’m very impressed with what our outsourcing team is doing in
being able to get articles, press releases, social media post and all
those things out of only seven minutes of spoken word. Plus, they
are able to transcribe it for us.
It’s amazing because, as you said, from just five key points, we
get content for a whole six weeks. That is wonderful, and it
saves a lot of time.
We don’t have to worry about what else we can create or do
or say when we can just change that information into different
modes of teaching. That’s what repurposing does, and that’s what
our outsourcing team is doing.
It is amazing.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 40© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Relevant is not just having content that is making sense to someone; it’s also being everywhere
Alex: In our comments section during the live Hangout, we had
some takeaways posted. Mark said that his biggest takeaway is
to distribute everywhere rather than create new, new and more
new. He also said, “Stellar, Alex,” which I think means good.
Nikita said, “My biggest takeaway is the reminder that you don’t
have to keep creating new content, I’m a natural creator, so I find
myself on a creation waterfall.”
Yes, you don’t want to have a tidal wave, tsunami or waterfall
of new content. What you want to do is create new content
from existing content.
Let me give you a big tip, and I hope this is a big takeaway for
all of you.
Imagine writing a book that has 51 chapters. As that author,
do you have a one-year, weekly Hangout editorial calendar? Do
you? You do. It’s your book. Now, I’m just making this up, but if
you were to have 51 chapters, then you would have 52 weeks of
content. You’re done for the year.
In addition, you will not only sell more of that book by repurposing
its content, but you will also be relevant everywhere. Relevant
is not just having content that is making sense to someone;
it’s also being everywhere. That’s what relevant means. Here,
There and Everywhere was a Beatles song, and that means being
more relevant.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 41© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Google is the most relevant website on earth because it is everywhere
Google is the most relevant website on earth. Why? It’s because
it is everywhere.
I’m going to tell you something. Google is not a search engine.
How could I say that? It’s true. Google is a content provider. It is a
publisher. It makes money through ads. It uses Google AdWords
and various different means of advertising.
Google is not a search engine. It’s just utilizing its search engine
to generate money through its ads.
YouTube is a search engine, and YouTube also makes money
through it’s videos. However, it’s making money by having high-
volume, highly-viewed videos and putting ads on those videos.
People make money as YouTube Partners.
What is YouTube? Who owns YouTube? Who owns Google? The
answer is Google. What is Google Hangouts? Who is that run by?
It’s run by Google. Isn’t that the way to go?
Regardless of rumors you may hear about the future of Google
Hangouts or whatever else, this is the fastest and easiest way
because all you need is a web cam and an Internet connection.
Relevance is key on Google because that’s the only search
engine people talk about. They don’t talk about Northern Lights
anymore. Some people talk about Bing, but how relevant is Bing?
How relevant is Yahoo? People talk about Google, and that’s
where most people go to browse.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 42© 2015 Alex Mandossian
By repurposing your content, you can get more reach on the buying platforms
Where do people go to buy on the Internet? They go to Amazon.
Where do people go to listen to music? They go to iTunes. Where
do people go to buy hard to find items? They go to Ebay.
You can utilize all of these places with your content.
Can you sell a $99 eBook, such as a $99 Kindle book on Amazon,
that you created on a Google Hangout? I think you can. Am I
doing it? Yes. Can you do it? Yes. It’s not even something I’ve
talked about, but that’s monetization. It’s also getting more reach
on the buying platforms.
I was first talking about browsing platforms, like Google and all
the social media. Remember, the key is to have this “hub and
spoke” relationship with all the social media leading into an
irresistible offer that has a call to action. When you do, you will
be lead to the Promise Land.
Another miracle about Google Hangouts is the flexibility of
location for both the speaker and the students.
During our live Hangout, we had Matt hanging out from Kyoko,
Japan while he was traveling. Yet, I was in my office in Marin
County, which is just north of San Francisco proper. We also
had people who were hanging out from South Africa, Europe,
Alaska, Ontario, Canada, Japan, the Southern Alps of France,
Utah, Australia and New Zealand. That’s a miracle, and with a
Hangout, we’re all doing it in real time.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 43© 2015 Alex Mandossian
When you host a live Hangout, the entire world is able to watch you at the same time, and that’s what made the Oprah Winfrey Show famous
Do you want to know something? The thing that made Oprah,
Oprah is one thing. She did something. She and her producers
made a decision when her show came out that was unlike any
other talk show that was syndicated. Syndicated means that it
was all over the place, so it had to be relevant in the United
States and overseas.
With Oprah, her producers wanted the Oprah show to be airing
at the same time in the different time zones in the U.S. So, if it
was airing at 2 p.m. on the Pacific coast, it would be on at 5 p.m.
on the East coast, 3 p.m. Mountain time and 4 p.m. Central time.
It would be on at the same time so that a person watching on
the East Coast could call someone from the West Coast and say,
“Hey, Oprah is on.” The show was happening at that time. Now,
the show wasn’t live. It was recorded live, but that’s the genius
behind the Oprah show.
Why did they do that? It was so the entire country could be
watching it at the same time. Well, with a Google Hangout, the
entire world is watching at the same time.
Once you finish recording a Hangout, stop the broadcast, and
then publish it. Then people will be able to watch it whenever
they want. That’s called “just in time” viewing or time-shifted
viewing. You watch at your own convenience.
However, when it’s live, it’s like the Oprah Winfrey Show where
everyone watches at once, and that’s what made her famous.
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 44© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Another big mistake that most people make in monetizing their Hangouts is that they don’t acknowledge the replay people
That’s the future of Google Hangouts because everyone is
watching live at the same time. Therefore, you want to make
sure that your live time is reasonable for the different time zones.
For instance, when I hosted the live Hangout for this module, I
started at noon PST so that it was 8 p.m. in most of Europe, and
that’s reasonable.
In Gold Coast, Australia, what time was that over there, Sandra?
I know it’s a little early, but it’s still reasonable.
Sandra: It started at 5 a.m. Crazy, isn’t it?
Alex: Very good. In the comments during the live Hangout, Maria
said, “I’m with Sandra—quantity not quality.” I also want to
acknowledge all of you who are reading this now. I am sure you
have your own takeaways.
Notice what I’m doing. I’m acknowledging all of you, as well.
Another big mistake that most people make in monetizing their
Hangouts is that they don’t acknowledge the replay people. They
only acknowledge the live people.
I did acknowledge the live people, but for you who are reading
this, that means you are part of the replay, in a sense. That’s
good. You can still go to Facebook and type in what your biggest
HangoutMarketingTraining.com 45© 2015 Alex Mandossian
Because of the Internet and social media, everything is now transparent
takeaway is because you’ve made it this far. You made it 45 pages
into the content, which is about an hour of content. So type in
your biggest takeaway and join that social conversation. Maybe
someone will see your post and reply back to you.
With Hangouts, you want to make all of your comments public.
Everything is public, and everything is transparent these days.
No more can a country perform an atrocity like genocide without
the world knowing because of social media. It gets stopped, even
if it’s a third-world country, because of the transparency principle.
You know, when there are uprisings in the Middle East, it is
tweeted about on the Internet, or there’s a YouTube video
posted of it. Whether it’s about a celebrity or a golfer, like Tiger
Woods, or a former president, like Bill Clinton, or whomever,
everything is transparent.
Because of the transparency, number one, you’ve got to be careful
what you say, and number two, you’ve always got to acknowledge
the people watching the replays because five times as many
people will watch the replay than actually watched it live.
In fact, even if you watched this live, I want you to continue to
go back and watch the replay or read this transcript because you
will not be the same person you are right now. Right now, you
are not the same person you were when you started reading this.
Is that true or false? I hope you say true.

Take a very, very close look at the diagram and make sure that you model it
Now that you have all of this information, I hope you write your
biggest takeaway in a Facebook comment.
This concludes module one of Hangout Monetization Secrets. Go
back and take a look at that Action Guide and model it. If you
would like to get access to the people I use for my repurposing,
I will simply charge my cost plus $20. That will soon be $50,
which will also soon be $100. Just know that the longer you wait,
the more expensive it’s going to be.
I want to give them a lot of work initially because we’re just
starting this, and if you want to use who I’m using, then simply
go to MarketingOnlineSupport.com. Type in, “I want to learn
about repurposing and outsourcing.” Then, you’ll get access to
our elite outsourcing group.
Be prepared to spend a minimum of between $150 to $200 a
week doing this. It does take time and effort. In fact, if you
choose to do it yourself, I would tell you that it’s going to cost
$300 to $500 of your time. With my time, it would cost over
$1000 and probably much more.
Take a very, very close look at the diagram and make sure that
you model it.
Going back to the comments, Mark says, “G+ is a nice repurposer
of other’s content through a search engine. Thank you.” Paladin

The single, biggest mistake you can make is talking about something you don’t know about
says, “Mark makes total sense.” People are actually acknowledging
each other in the comments.
Anne says, “I think the problem would be better if they would
have to write themselves a script first to be able to put together a
decent Hangout. So you actually have to create the written word
plus the video, and then you can extract and repurpose the audio.
What Alex says might sound easier than it is.”
Let me acknowledge that comment, okay? It is easier than you
think it is. You just need to practice. I didn’t have a script for
this Hangout. I do have an Action Guide. I know what each of
these questions are. However, what’s coming out of my mouth
is from my heart and from my head. That’s easier for me because
I know a lot about it.
The more you know about your topic, the easier it becomes.
Do NOT talk about something you don’t know about. That’s the
single, biggest mistake people make—they go on to a whole new
topic in their Hangout. Marketing is hard enough. Only teach on
a topic that you’re very familiar with.
Sandra, do you have a final word for us?
Sandra: Repurposing.

A Hangout should be very conversational and very informal, including using action cards
Alex: Very good. My final word is bullets. You want to make bullet
points out of your Action Guides. That’s what I’ve actually
done here. In teaching this live, all I did for one hour is I spoke
in a way that’s conversational and very informal. That’s how a
Hangout should be.
A Hangout is not meant to be very formal. I use action cards.
I have taught you how to eliminate the uncertainty of marketing,
how to dominate the keywords on Google.com, and how to use
the repurposing roadmap.
At the end of your Hangouts, do a quick review using the action
cards from the session. Understand how powerful these cards can
be. We started by talking about, “What is ‘Root Content’?” Now
you know. what that is. If you don’t, go back and read it again.
Next, you get three for one when you use a Google Hangout or
any kind of video. What’s three for one? That’s the visual word,
spoken word and written word.
This is a review rampage, so pay attention.
When you start with video, it’s a faster, better and easier way to
get market reach. The bottom line is this—the key to success is
market reach.
Next, you want to learn from the case studies I’ve put in the
Action Guide under question number two.

When you use action cards during your Hangouts, it creates an easy way for you to review the content
Market reach is easier with repurposing. If you ask Sandra what
that says, she would say pronounced it as easssier because of her
Mexican heritage. She doesn’t use the Z sound for some reason,
but I still understand her.
How do you create your editorial calendar? You take the root
content of your first Hangout and add as many Hangouts as you
have tips from that first Hangout. Basically, if you have a five-tip
or five-secret Hangout, that’s six weeks of video content.
Why? The first week is the overview Hangout of the five tips.
Then, you go deep on each tip during the other Hangouts. That’s
five more Hangouts where you are going deep on each of the tips,
so that’s six weeks of content altogether. That’s a month and a
half of content. That’s pretty good.
In the first week, you go wide and shallow. In the remaining
weeks, you go narrow and deep.
I hope using action cards make sense, as they make it easy for you
to review your content.
Eliminate uncertainty of marketing, and you do that by using
repurposing. Dominate your keywords on Google.com. You do
this by titling your Hangouts properly and by knowing your
keyword phrases that you want to dominate.
In introducing the repurposing roadmap to you, I hope that is
going to make you a lot of money.

Use bullet points so that you can share your information quickly and easily without having to write a script
In the next Hangout, which is module two of the Hangout
Monetization Secrets, we’re going to talk about how to monetize
at the strategy session level so that you understand, absorb and
embrace the concept of a rapid revenue session, as I call it, or a
strategy session, which most people call it. Alright?
My name is Alex Mandossian, and the bottom line is if you use
bullets for bullet points, you can pop, pop, pop very quickly and
easily through your information. You will not have to write out
your script for your Hangout.
All good wishes, and I will see you next time. By the way, if
you want outsourcing, I do have an outsourcing link directly. It’s
MarketingOnline.com/eliteoutsourcing. Just remember that it
costs money. It’s not that I’m going to make a lot of money from
it. I’m going to make $20 each week from you, but you’ll get to
do this without putting any work into it.
If you don’t have the budget, don’t do it, but if you want to explore
it, go to MarketingOnline.com/eliteoutsourcing. You will get the
full picture there.
That ends this Hangout. I will see you next time. All good wishes.
