Alerting of works fire brigades
Your needs:
You need a reliable and economical solution to alert your factory security services. A new technology shall cover the extensive area entirely with only view investments into the in-frastructure.
Our solution:
With Swissphone you will reach your staff rapidly and safely. An extensive area with its remote corners will be covered by a cost efficient local paging network. Employees will be con-tacted via SMS or e-mail when they are offsite. Assignments will always be processed with the help of. An optional esca-lation management enables effective control of all available resources.
Implementation of third party systems: • Emergency centre interfaces • Fire-/danger warning systems • Escalators • Light call systems • Facility automated systems • IT surveillance software • Mobile phone connection (GSM) • Landline • And many more …
• Fast and reliable alerting • Covering large areas with only few transmitting stations • Connection between multiple works premises • ATEX devices for explosive areas • Bidirectional communication via response channel • Numerous expansion possibilities

Radio coverage:Alerts can either be transmitted via a paging/SMS gateway or via a local radio network. A single transmission station can cover even extensive work premises. Several external trans-mitters can be added to cover complex buildings. The simul-taneous broadcasting network resulting out of this principle guarantees distortion-free reception. The simple connection between numerous alerting servers via LAN enables the usage of one paging system for several works premises. In addition the local network can be connected with national POCSAG network.
Network surveillance:Component surveillance is important for critical surroundings. Technical failures mustn›t always be the reason for disturban-ces: structural alternations influence the radio coverage as well. Network transmissions will be monitored by control re-ceivers. If one station fails, an automatic disturbance report will be created. Additional surveillance mechanisms monitor hard- and software components and can create forwards to service personnel or other services.
Covering extensive areas:
Example • 1 system with sender (I.SEARCH) • Optional: 3 sender, wired connection (I.SITE) • Radio field surveillance via
control receiver (MS POCSAG)
System advantages
Redundancy/cluster:The I.SEARCH base unit can be created fully redundant to maximize availability: two I.SEARCH base units form one cluster. This means that diversions will be performed automa-tically in case of a disturbance. The permanent matching of the base stations data bases ensures the topicality.
Intelligent absence and escalation management:The I.SEARCH management realizes comfortable and sim-ple operation of the multiple communication channels. The information about an employee inserting his pager into a multi charger when leaving the factory site will be transmitted via Ethernet to the system central. The system acknowledges his absence and will inform him via SMS or e-mail when he›s been searched for. If he does not respond to the alert, the system will continue to escalate according to the predefined escalation plan.
