We used these statistics in our documentary and our questionnaire as

we found them too be. Most people when asked said that they thought men

were the biggest binge drinkers, so it was useful to use these in order to show peoples different opinions.

Statistical Research

A study, by the World Health Organisation, will show that more young people in Britain have been drunk at a

young age than in most other developed countries.

They are expected to show that Britain has the fourth highest levels of underage drinking among 15-year-

olds.

Official figures show that there has been a 37 per cent increase in the number of children being admitted to

hospital because of alcohol since 2001.

A study of 11,000 children found by the time they reached 30 they were 60% more likely to be an

alcoholic and nearly twice as likely to have a conviction. (bbc news 2011)

These statistics will be used throughout our documentary as audience research found that some people liked statistical research throughout the documentary as well as used to shock the audience.
