In this workit was verified thestoragewaysof recyclablematerials, the better way to do that, determined by the industries, and storage forms foreach material. Data was obtained by the application of questionnaire tomany units thatpractice storage of scraps. At Curitiba-PR, PortoAlegre-RS and Belo Horizonte-MG,cities wherethecity ha1lsarein association withco-operativesocieties. Theirworkwith collection and selection of recycling materiaIs ftom municipal, schools,condominiums and hospitaIs solid waste show great performance in many aspects thatm:econtributing tosolid wastes paradigm changing. The way tofind how toimproveactions in recyclabletechnical rnanage leve~like storage, are basic to develop recyclingin Brazil aresimilar, orhigher thansevera! developed countries, It's fundamental tosupply recycling industries with respect to quantitative and qualitative criteria.
