SOCIAL LEARNING THEORY
behavior is learned from the environment through the process of observational learning

– Triadic reciprocity• the connections between human behaviour,
environmental factors and personal factors
Individuals have the ability to actively alter our environment (change rooms, places... ) and behaviour
Behaviour also determines environment (consisting only of our work or home settings)
Environment is not a static one, it can have an effect on behaviour
• Individuals:– self-organizing, – proactive, – self-reflecting, – self-regulating
• in opposition to the orthodox conception of humans as governed by external forces
