The desired acceptable density was achieved by minimising the perceived vehicle access routes. Material treatment of the access ways was detailed was intended to ensure that they were seen as driveways leading to the houses rather than roads. This in turn resulted in the house accommodation being turned placing the primary living spaces at what would traditionally be considered the rear of the house. Living spaces spill out onto either a private garden or a communal garden connecting to the Club and swimming pool. This ensured that the open green spaces could be used away from the internal trafﬁc and resulted in a larger area of open garden space.
