I was also a trained rough terrain fork lift operator working with the skilled labour on site supplying them with materials Warehouse operative I was employed as a warehouse operative. My main duties were supplying raw materials to the production line and then taking the finished goods to the packing lines. Stock control and unloading and loading of vehicles. Be conservant with and operate at all times within current Health and Safety legislation including local departmental procedures. Liaise with clients when required in line with operation. Conduct appraisals and assessments and identify training needs tailored to the individual and operational requirements. Conduct disciplinary investigations and disciplinary reviews. Complete all administration functions required by the operation. Rotas , statutory records , bonus sheets , timekeeping , accident reports , clock cards , returns to work , absence notifications and disciplinary/absence management paperwork. Interface with Union Representatives. Liaise with internal departments to ensure consistency in the furtherance of the aims and objectives of the department. Adhere to and ensure full awareness of all emergency procedures.(disaster, fire and evacuations etc). Provide written reports within critical time scale. AchievementsI was voice pick champion where I trained the supervisors and training team prior to going live.I reduced stock results in Prodeck with more intense monitoring and random checks thus cutting out on wrong stockpicked and sent to stores. The implementation of the new process helped greatly in the reduction of store claims againstthe depot.I was on secondment to site in Tamworth for 6 months for start up of a new contract where I was part of a team whotrained new employees on the company procedures and processes.I was also on secondment to Swords in Dublin to help reduce cage fill and save money , which I did by educating the staffon product placement in the cages and the effect that it has on the business when part filled cages are sent to the stores.
Successful Implementation of start up contract for Amazon exceeding targets through peak.
Successfully managed to increase warehouse capacity by 10%. Reconfigured the block stacking within the warehouse.
