Directed all WBZ-TV sports programming. Supervised talent and produced all sportscasts including ‘Sports

Final’ (live weekly sports program), New England Patriots Pre-Season Football games and all sports specials.

Managed the sports office that included anchors, reporters and producers.

WBZ – TV (continued)1988 – 2001 PRODUCER BOSTON MARATHON

Produced the station’s five-hour live coverage of the Boston Marathon. Responsibilities included developing story lines for the telecast; editing and writing features that were used throughout the race; and line producing the live coverage.

1981-1992 SPORTS PRODUCER Produced the 6:00pm and 11:00pm sportscasts as well as all sports

specials. Responsible for coverage and selection of stories as well as the

formatting, editing, and writing of the sportscast. Field Produced WBZ-TV’s coverage of 1986 Super Bowl; 1986

World Series; 1984 & 1986 NBA Finals; and 1998 & 1990 Stanley Cup Finals as well as the Boston Marathon and Boston College football bowl games.

Created and produced ‘Sports Final’ including application of graphics, set design and editing techniques; creating copy and story lines, and monitoring content and flow of the program.

1994-1997 WBZ–RADIO Boston, MA1994-1997 EXECUTIVE SPORTS PRODUCER

In charge of Sports Coverage for WBZ Radio. Created a three-hour pre-game show for New England Patriots Football. Developed weekend sports talk shows. Negotiated and secured rights to Boston Bruins Hockey radio broadcasts.
