“All these are soon to be forgotten. Being a Senior in high school comes but once in a lifetime; it is a time for planning, a time for foolishness, a time for hoping, a time for flirting, a time for dreaming, but most of all it is a time for being young.” The Rocket, ‘68

Comments/Suggestions
We have booked the Holloman AFB Officer’s Club for the dinner/dance and are looking at a nice three entrée buffet menu.
Ronnie Jones’ band will be playing for us for three hours on Saturday night.
Esther Agnew Baker has arranged for the registration and social at Casa de Suenos in Tularosa.
If you would like to be part of a balloon crew call Ed Brabson at 575-430-1300 and let him know you are interested. They are
starting to make up the crew list now and are taking volunteers. Maybe we can get the Class of 1968 to handle one or two bal-
loons. It will make for great stories and even greater pictures and could possibly lead to a balloon ride. The launches start at
around 5:00 am on Saturday and Sunday morning at the old Walmart parking lot at the Hwy 54/70 South split towards El Paso.
You won’t be able to miss it—there will be a lot of balloon people there. From there the balloons will split up and some will go
to White Sands Monument and others will launch in town.
