Isolations, de-isolations, Re- piping valves, stroking valves and checking limits and feedback. PMs using SAP for ordering parts and work orders. HV testing and VSD maintenance.

December 2015 to February 2016

IPA Personnel Electrical Technician Looking after power stations, airconditioning, lighting, kitchen and general duties for camp maintenance at 4 rail camps at Royhill over Christmas. Camp Maintenance at Sino for ISS.

October 2015- December 2015

Muja Power Station, Maintenance Electrician for duration of shutdown. Work included brush checks, replacements Ducter and HV meggar tests and Instrumentation maintenance.

1/03/2015 to 1/10/2015Bechtel APLNG commissioning and startup.Curtis Is commissioning Honeywell Experion DCS, Function Logic Tests Loop Testing and network commissioning.

October 2014- December 2014CSI Nammauldi BWT. Commissioning instrumentation for wet process plant including Vega level transmitters, Krohne flow transmitters, IFM flow switches, pressure switches with both analogue and digital outputs. Rosemount differential pressure transmitters. Emerson level transmitters. Instrumentation was calibrated, loop checked, correct I/O and SCADA comms after which a changeover to operations and proof of performance of plant.

March 2014- October 2014 CKJV Gorgon LNG Project as a construction electrician at Barrow Island. I was on the preservation team on nightshift my duties included looking after all the coats hire Lighting Towers, Lincoln gensets and arc welders, as well as installation of Aircond splitsystems

November 2013Worked form ICE Engineering commissioning for Western Turner, Rio Tinto job. Commissioning new conveyor belt system including all I/O checks, point to point and calibrations.

October 2013Worked for RCR on Solomon FMG iron ore project doing precommissioning, redlining and QA.

August 2013Bunbury Industrial Controls. Employed as a casual for work and maintenance at Worsley Aluminium and shutdown at Bluewater Power Station calibrating and instrumentation.

December 2012 NG Essential Services in the communities. This includes power generation, synchronisation using Hienzman PID controls, IntelliGen controllers for engine parameters, VSDs Emerson commander SKs AMC 2000s for speed control on motor fans for temp control, water treatment RO and nitrate reduction using Citec HMI, solar diesel and air water bores and telemetry. Sewerage pumping stations and power grid switching, feeders, backfeeding when necessary.

April 2012 Worked for E&I Global. Commissioning of the Airport Link Tunnel. Tests include using Allen Bradley software to prove each rung, correct address and tags and make true. Earth loop impedance tests on lighting. Point to Point red lining drawings and highlighting schematics. We are currently doing Level 3&4 tests. Currently commissioning instrumentation at the Wonthaggi Desalination Plant in Victoria.

March 2012 4th shutdown at Olympic Dam, tubing for bubbler installation using Rosemount DP Transmitter. Set up and calibrate using Emerson 475 communicator. RTD span checks Cooling Tower #2 and general maintenance.

January 2012 3rd shutdown at Olympic Dam installation of Rosemount Mag Flow Maintenance of pH transmitters working to BHP’s permit to work system and THA system. The maintenance was undertaken on night shift.

November 2011 Second BHP shutdown for eight days. Installation of Fisher valve actuators, stroking and commissioning to DCS. Installation of magflow in acid lines and calibration, using Emerson 475 communicator. Calibrate pressure transmitters for fresh air intake on furnaces using Druck pressure calibrator for calibrations.

October 2011BHP Olympic Dam shutdown. Instrumentation Technician hired to install Rosemount mag flow transmitters, installation of Rosemount Vortex transmitters, installation and calibration

with Emerson 475 communicators. Installation of Fisher valve and proximity actuators. Was a two week shutdown with BHP permit to work inductions, EWP and working at heights.

2011 Kogan Creek Shutdown 4 weeks calibrating with Beamax MC5 calibrators, pressures, vacuums, low pressure to 2000 kPa. High pressure to 50 MPa. Temperatures PT100s, K type thermo couples and 4 wire RTDs, differential pressure for level flow and wet legs. Zero trim and span adjustments with Emerson 375 Hart communicator. All calibrations were 5 point up and down and 3 point to DCS.

2010 – 2011Employed by Conneq Infrastructure Services on Ranger Mine at Jabiru. Recent projects include installation of mag flows, flow indicators and calibration reporting back to the DCS, installation of ammonia detectors and indicators in zone 2 hazardous areas. Installation of hazardous area lighting and extraction system in spray booth. Role Replacement ERA as shift Electrician fixing break downs, Electrical and Instrumentation fault finding following PLC logic and DCS function.

2009 Contracted to Nilsen working on construction of a helium plant in Darwin.

2009Working at Roma on three gas compressors. Wiring all instruments to hazardous areas specs, commissioning and punch lists.

December 2008Working for IIS on the Blacktip Pipeline at Wadeye,160 kms south of Darwin. Short stint finishing cathodic protection and wiring cabinets in the five stations.

2008 MIEBHP Yandi new conveyor belt system sample stations and transfer station. Duties included wiring of instruments devices terminations in plc ,QA work and night shift.

Boddington gold mine short stint setting up MCC.

Wyndham water treatment plantSent to assist commissioning Engineer install Mag flow, RTU mods PLC mods, red line drawings, commission diesel pumps filters oil change, solar panels and security system.

2008 Downer Engineering Condong sugar mill co-gen plant up grade involved in terminations of instrumentation in plc’s and termination of conveyor belt field wiring.

2008Como Engineering Recently completed a short term contract at a copper mine near Mt Isa.

2006-2007

Interpower Australia Specialising in high voltage power station installations, upgrades and commissioning on a gold mine doing an upgrade in Laverton WA. Prior to this I was working for Interpower on a new power station at the Coyote Gold Mine in the Tanami Desert setting up the power station and gold plaBechtel Darwin LNG Project My jobs included terminations of steel wire armoured cable, gas and flame proof enclosures, earthing and cathodic protection, cable tray and street lighting. I the tray work, ladder rack, roughing in, plant rooms, units and rising mains.

United Kingdom Worked Offshore for Expro Wireline, rigs Thistle, Scottplatform, and serveral semi subs.Employed by Certex UK Lifting Ltd as a crane serviceman. Duties included fault finding Relay and contactor logic servicing maintenance of cranes up to 100 tonnes Employed by Offshore Installation Services as a maintenance electrician. Also wiring containers for offshore to Fire and Flameproof Offshore glanding including Ex for hazardous situations and Instrumentation.
