PRESIDENTIAL TRIP TO KENYA AND ETHIOPIA

PICTORIAL NEWSLETTER FROM

Dear Friends, Thank you for allowing me to serve you

in the Congress of the United States of America under the leadership of our President, the Hon-orable Barack Obama.

From July 24-29, 2015, approximately 19 other Members of Congress and I had the honor of accompanying President Obama on his trip to Kenya and Ethiopia. The trip was both enterprising and vitalizing. This awesome op-portunity to travel with the President had the preeminent purposes of bolstering joint econom-ic development between the U.S. and sub-Saharan Africa as well as encouraging more democratic institutions in the region.

Rather than paint a picture with thou-sands of words about this trip, I am sharing this pictorial newsletter which depicts some of what we saw and experienced.

In closing, please allow me to thank you again for allowing me to serve, and thank Presi-dent Obama for the once-in-a-lifetime trip to the astounding continent of Africa.

Sincerely,

Al Green

Your Congressman
