Won the Lt Governor medal at Camp Ipperwash
Twice at the Imperial Rifle Competition in England as member of the Canadian National Junior Rifle Team

Attended Ridgeway Public School and McLaughlin HS
Attended University of Western Ontario

Six Years experience helping organize the national level competitions for the Canadian military
My Union History
Thirty-Three years of union membership Worked in production and as a millwright at
the Oshawa plants Staunch union supporter Strong belief in the importance of quality of
GM products
A Worker since 3 yrs old
Long before he was working in the plant he knew the value of hard work
Leadership Qualities
He lead the membership of CAW Local 222 who voted 86% in favour of a binding referendum to NOT support any political party including the NDP
He believes in getting rid of partisan politics in union elections and operations
This has unfortunately has been underminded by the previous and existing union leaders
