FlexibleIt can be broken up into modules or expanded and adjusted to syllabuses or age levels. The project framework can be transferred to any topic.
Cross curricularThe project is actually cross curricular and integrates Science (syllabus and lab activities, e.g. experiments) Art (campaign), English (communication with partners), Health Education. Many teachers cooperate.
MotivatingStudents share and exchange opinions in the blog and they practice team working.
![Page 4: Al c2 h6 ol](https://reader037.fdocuments.in/reader037/viewer/2022100223/5564cf52d8b42a565b8b5463/html5/thumbnails/4.jpg)
Flexible- Be flexible: everybody
has to deal with his/her own syllabus, lesson programme and school situation.
- What you already do in regular lessons
- Exchange and stay open to other new activities

Students steer their own learning process:After teaching the theory:- Ask students what
they think is the most annoying effect of alcohol
- Let them think of ways to warn their peers for those effects
- Let students interact in any possible way

Aim Of the survey:• Maltese Biology students need to
carry out a scientific investigation as part of their final GCSE exam.
• It entails a lot of work, so it has to be interesting enough to motivate them to complete it in an appropriate way.
• Alcohol is an innovative topic that arouses interest amongst all teenagers.
![Page 9: Al c2 h6 ol](https://reader037.fdocuments.in/reader037/viewer/2022100223/5564cf52d8b42a565b8b5463/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
The survey was set online to facilitate communication amongst all partner schools.
It was anonymous to ensure privacy and freedom of expression.
After the survey was analysed, all schools commented on the results obtained.
The survey300 European teenagers
answered the survey

It encourages collaboration and teamwork amongst all students.
It improves their creativity, evaluation and analysis skills.
It changes and improves their abilities, knowledge and attitudes.
It helps students to work within a time frame, and to manage tasks better.

Aim of the experiments:
• Italian students carry out a scientific investigation as part of their biology curriculum and possibly of their final exam.
• They use the CLIL methodology to share with partners and so they study biology in English. This is a motivating way to study part of the curriculum.
• Our lab is not well equipped so we use experiments carried out by our Maltese partners as a brainstorming or an introduction to the lesson.

A picture is uploaded in the TwinSpace
Students are asked to guess what it is
They exchange opinions in the blog
GuessingAnother way to
interact and stimulate curiosity
