I. Mandate:

Al-Amanah Islamic Investment Bank of the Philippines (AAIIBP) is a universal bank

authorized to perform and provide Islamic banking, financing and investment services pursuant

to R.A. 6848, otherwise known as the Charter of the Al-Amanah Islamic Bank of the Philippines

of 1990.

Mandated to promote and accelerate the socio-economic development of the

Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) through banking, financing and participating

in agricultural, commercial and industrial ventures based on the concept of Islamic banking.

II. Vision:

To be the leading and choice Islamic financial institution providing alternative banking

services in response to the emerging global Islamic markets and to promote and accelerate the

socio-economic developments of the Islamic communities in the Philippines by 2022.

III. Mission:

To become a full Islamic Bank and afford Filipinos of the blessings and benefits of Islamic

banking, financing and investment.

To be competitive and significant in the banking industry.

To become a key-player in the global Islamic banking and investment market.

Participate in all phases of development especially in the ARMM and Mindanao.

To serve as arm of the Government in addressing poverty alleviation especially in

Muslim Filipino communities across the country by delivering them the goodwill and

simplistic Islamic banking and financing that are responsive, sensitive and suitable to

their way of life.

To equip Muslim Filipinos with Islamic banking and financial education that can help

them improve their economic condition and make them a significant economic force of

the nation.

The financial statement is prepared monthly to provide information about the

financial position, performance, and changes in the financial position of the bank that

is useful in making economic decisions and the basis for the preparation of various

reports for submission to regulators.

FEEDBACK AND COMPLAINTS MECHANISM How to send feedback Client inputs feedback through

Feedback/Customer Satisfaction Form and submits the same to the Branch Consumer Assistance Officer (BCAO).

How feedbacks are processed BCAO shall compile at the end of the weekall Feedback/Customer Satisfaction Forms. BCAO shall evaluate those which will require answer. Feedbacks requiring answer shall be forwarded to Office and shall be answered within three (3) days from receipt. For follow-up and inquiries, client may call us at 8893-5036 or e-mail us at [email protected].

How to file a complaint Fill-out Complaints / Request Form in duplicate and submit to the Branch Consumer Assistance Officer (BCAO).

How complaints are processed If the complaint is simple and can be resolved at once, prepares formal resolution by accomplishing the Official Reply Form. If the complaint is complex, immediately forwards the complaints to the Dedicated Head, Consumer Assistance Officer (DHCAO) for the Official Reply Form following the order/instructions on the Bank Action Form. If the complaint is highly technical, CPAC/ManCom, through its DHCAO forwards the complaint to the Board of Directors to resolve the complaint. BCAO prepares the Official Reply Form following the order/instructions on the Bank Action Form.
