    dimensions. (4) Assume suitable data wherever necessary. (5) Illustrate your answers wherever necessary with

    the help of neat sketches. Important Instructions and Marks allotment 1. Final submission : This work shall be done to suitable

    scale, so as to understand complete design scheme to the examiner, with the help of following minimum drawings : 0) First day's submissionImportant data collection,

    Area analysis, circulation and flow charts of activities and building line plan.

    2. First Day's work :- This work shall be submitted at the end of the first day. This work will not be returned to the students. Do not make any change in the planning like changes of plan form, major additions of areas, floors etc. Major deviation from this first day's work is not allowed.

    3. Students are not allowed to take out of exam hall, question papers, any drawing paper, sheets etc. Use of Architectural data book/tables at the time of exam is not allowed. The credit shall be given to methodical work and neat presentation.

    4. Candidates may assume suitable areas if not given for different functional requirements. You also may combine spaces for some of the activities together and may also add reasonable spaces like connecting corridors, circulation spaces etc.

    Social Function Hall Desk:A requirements as follows : 1. Social function Hall-1 No.-@ 700 sq.m which includes

    activities like prefunetion area, stage, green rooms 4 Nos., about separate 200 sq.m. balcony area, stairs etc.

    2. Multifunction Halls-2 Nos.-@ 400 sq.m each which includes prefunetion area, stage, two green rooms, store etc.

    5. ServicesParking for 4w and 2w, trucks and buses, wasluooms for male and female, water drinking facilities, fire-fighting arrangement.

    6. The Site :-The site is located in MIHAN, Nagpur. The Plot size is 50 m x 150 m, total area 7500 sq.m. The shorter side of plot abutting on road which is East side.

  • 3. Dining Hall : Indoor dining space 300 sq.m., outdoor dining space 200 sq.m. Lawn area for evening functions about 500 sq.m. Main kitchen, utility area, storage, satellite pantries, service rooms, pantries, staff room etc.

    4. Accommodation : Family rooms-10 Nos.-30 sq.m Standard roomsI 0 Nos.-35 sq.m. Dormitory rooms-20 Nos.-65 sq.m. each with attach toilet.

    5. Office area -50 sq.m. Retail commercial shops 4 Nos. 50 sq.m. Entrance lobby, office waiting area, security etc.-20 sq.m.

    6. Services Parking of 4 Buses, 10 Cars, 50 Two wheelers, Generator room, Electrical room, Furniture store, Security room and Booths, Caretaker's quarter etc.

    7. Wash Rooms Adequate for male and female, water drinking facility, Unisex toilets etc.

    8. The site : The site is located near Chatri Talaw, Amravati, Plot size is 50m x 150m, total area being 7,500 sq.m. Approach road is on North Side. The 50 m wide shorter side of plot abutts on road.
