Procurement of equipments, Spares from Indian and overseas vendors. Conducted techno-commercial evaluation of bids and negotiated with vendors optimizing quality, cost and delivery.

Planning, coordinating, forecasting and inventory management for all the imported materials, meeting inventory target and optimizing logistics cost.

Capital procurement for upcoming and ongoing projects. Develop and implement strategies & contingency plans for procuring material requirements

from vendors in India and abroad and delivering to the site aligned to the schedules. Manage the complete procurement cycle from preparation of RFQ documents, enquiry, techno-

ROLE AND RESPONSIBITIES:-Reports to “GM – Procurement” and responsible for Procurement of Mechanical, Electrical and Operational consumables items at JSW Steel Ltd, Dolvi Works.Major Job responsibilities: Responsible for procurement of Mechanical items at following JSW Steel Units, Dolvi Major Projects are following:

Steel melt shop Key procurement for units at JSW, Dolvi and Bellary Procured mechanical machineries and related packages for 5 MTPA Steel melt shop. Finalization of Prices, terms & conditions of purchase with vendors and drafting formal contracts

of purchase with vendors. Coordinating with finance team for timely payment and ensuring timely delivery of material as

per schedule. Preparing and updating MIS enabling management decision making. Carrying out regular audit of vendors against contractual standards and taking

corrective/preventive actions wherever necessary. Finalization of Annual Rate Contracts of various mechanical spares. Developing and identifying potential suppliers across the globe for achieving cost effective

purchase of materials. Stream lining and improving departmental processes and procedures, formulation of SOP’s,

purchase requisition turnaround, and no. Of PO’s issued.
