•Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani was the founder of Reliance corporation.
•Born on December 28 1932 in Gujarat.
•At the age of 16 he moved to Yemen and start working in a trading company for a salary of rs. 300.
Life before Reliance
•In 1958 returned to Mumbai to start his own business in spices.
•In 1959 started Reliance commercial with a capital of rs. 15000 At Mumbai.
•He is credited with starting equity investing in India. More than 58000 investors from various parts of India subscribed to Reliance IPO in 1977.
