Introduction

It is a lightweight, durable, portable andhighly sophisticated throughwall radar

electronics device which allow us to see any

activity behind any hard opaque surface up

to 20 meters range by using ultra wide band(UWB) signal.

Features

Prism 200 is the most advanced portablethroughwall radar system in the world for

the significant reasons:

Advanced signal processing highlights moving

people and objects in complex environments

The user interface is quick to respond, fast to load

and intuitive to useIts ergonomics allow the operative to use it one-

handed or two-handed

TCP/IP interface for networking and laptop

connection

Devices component

As a single device it consist oflimited number of active and

passive components:

1.Array of antenna2.Processor(80386)

3.Display Screen

4.Tactical point hub5.UWB signal

6.Signal processing software

 W orking principle

Step I

Initially the device is attached to the

opaque wall and make all switch on so that it

will start sending UWB signal

Step IIActivated UWB signal propagate at a particular

band which is then strike by the object or

movable persons where it donÑt have that much of

intensity to pass through bodies.

Step III

Now the striker signal will rebound from

all those points and starts towards the device

or prism 200

Step IV

The reflected signal from that object will

strike to prism 200Ñs array of antenna. Where

it is collected and sends towards the software

component.Step V

It is a signal processing software which

will manipulate all the reflected signal sended

by the object .where all the coordinate of itwill be defined and a required image will be

produce by the software which is being

demonstrated by it.

W orking principleThough its working principle is too easy to

understand the real complexity is lie in theUWB signal.

Fractional Bandwidth > 20% or Total Bandwidth > 500MHz

Large bandwidth ± Great spatial resolution

Low Cost ± Simple circuitry design (with impulse implementation)

Low Radiate Power ± Low Probability of Detection

It implements Impulse transmitter & Stepped carrier frequency techniques

Due to all these characteristics it is implemented in

various field like

oGround Penetration Radar (GPR)

oThroughWall Imaging

oMilitary Applications

oTelecommunication

 Advantages & Application

A new power to human eyeCrime control

Easy to discover archeological object

Easy body organ defect detection

Due to it s light weight it can be taken anywhere according own wish.

Capability to connect with laptop by TCP/IP

connection which make us visualize things

remotely

Due to its covet intelligence it can be a life

saving agent

Zero set up time against sensor

ConclusionThough the new tech device enabling us to see the

activity behind any hard opaque surface is endinghere.

It acts as a base platform to develop to the future

tech goggles which will allow us to do the same

function with more additive.
