1. Introduction
The Geolocation analysis feature brings Google Maps to Aito CEA, allowing analysis of customer usage,
experience and business by geographic area.
Using the Geolocation analysis feature, users can identify the locations with e.g. most subscriber activity,
traffic, faults or generated revenue by visually inspecting the cell locations on the map.
The Geolocation analysis plots KPIs on Google Maps based on cell coordinates. Map views are provided
in all Aito CEA views that include KPIs grouped by location. This includes:
Customers by location
Usage by location
Experience by location
Faults by location
Revenue and lost revenue by location
KPIs are visualised as variable size circles at the location, visualising e.g. the number of customer,
amount of traffic or number of faults at a location by showing larger circles for locations with more
customers, traffic or faults.

2. Functionality
The Geolocation Analysis views offer the following functionality.
2.1. Showing location based KPI values on the map
The Geolocation Analysis views plot KPIs on the map based on customer activity in different cells. Any of
the location based KPIs can be visualised on the map as variable size circles visualising the KPI values
in each location in relation to the other locations.
Figure 2 KPI details for a location
Moving the mouse pointer over a location shows a pop-up with details on the location and the selected
KPI.
2.2. Drill-down to selected locations
The map views allow selecting a set of location and drilling down to the customers with activity in the
selected locations. Drilling down automatically zooms the map view to cover the selected area.
Figure 3 Drill down and zoom
2.3. Show active locations for selected customers
All map views function seamlessly with the filtering and drill-down functions in Aito CEA. Drill-down to a
specific customer group (or even a single customer) and view the locations the customers in this group
have made calls, downloaded data or experienced problems with the network.
For example, view the locations where the customers from Corporate X have experienced problems with
4G devices.
