What? Who? a biscuit accident!

Like all strange things it was born by pure chance.The idea to create a biscuit accident (which we lovingly call “The Biscuit”!) was born during a cold winter’s night at the end of November 2009.That night we met up to discuss what seems to be a difficult task and it did turn out so to give a name to our “little baby”.After hours of brainstorming no conclusion was on the horizon, so with breaking dawn, we decided to meet up again the following evening.To come up with a catchy, intriguing and moreover a name which reflected what we stand for wasn’t a piece of cake.And so what came about by chance…whilst enjoying a cup of coffee a biscuit accidentally while being dipped and dunked broke and spilt coffee all over our paper work…hence the name a biscuit accident!!The Biscuit adventure, our adventure, had begun…Perché nasce per caso come tutte le cose strane.L’ idea di creare a biscuit accident (che noi chiamiamo affettuosamente Il Biscotto!!) nasce durante una fredda sera invernale di fine novembre 2009. Quella notte ci trovavamo a dover affrontare un’ impresa che si sarebbe rivelata ben presto molto più difficile di quello che in apparenza avrebbe potuto sembrare: dare un nome alla nostra piccola creatura!Dopo ore passate a scervellarci a tal proposito riuscimmo ad approdare solamente ad uno sconfortante niente di fatto. Ci ripromettemmo di metterci nuovamente al lavoro il giorno successivo.Cercare un nome che potesse essere accattivante, efficace ma soprattutto che ci rispecchiasse non era per niente facile. E così tutto nacque per caso. Tutto nacque da un biscotto caduto accidentalmente in una tazza colma di caffè la quale, rovesciandosi, andò ad imbrattare tutti i nostri appunti e fogli di lavoro.Si trattava di un incidente causato da un biscotto ad aver rovinato qualche mese di lavoro.Era, semplicemente, a biscuit accident!!Era il 26 novembre del 2009. E la favola era appena cominciata….;)

When Abiscuitaccident.com entered into the world of ours, I reviewed the philosophy which is not to focus totally on the product but on the people who are the real engines and true strength .It was us, our ideas, our passion and our desire to share our experiences (… and one or two beers!!!)This is why Abiscuitaccident.com is not a simple T-shirt shop but a constantly evolving project. For Abiscuitaccident.com I look after marketing and co-ordinate the activities linked to our image.

Nacqui nel lontano 1982 a Pordenone.Da 28 anni a questa parte mi appassiono di Musica, Arte e Design.Quando Abiscuitaccident.com fu messo al mondo mi sono rivisto nella sua filosofia che non si focalizzava totalmente sul prodotto ma in realtà il suo motore e la sua forza erano le persone. Eravamo noi, le nostre idee, le nostre passioni e il piacere di condividere un esperienza (e qualche birra!!). Questo fa di Abiscuitaccident.com non “uno shop di t-shirt”, ma un progetto in costante evoluzione.Per Abiscuitaccident.com curo il Marketing e coordino le attività legate all’immagine.

Carlos Font… Who??Hi to all ,I was born in Madrid, Spain in 1981 during the Movida years, the years boasting Atari and Back to the future’s Delorian.With these two highly dangerous individuals involved in Abiscuitaccident.com, I cover the creative role, following the artistic direction of the store.What makes Abiscuitaccident.com unique is the passion with which every T-shirt is conceptualised and the pure energy the team gives when affronting this adventure. We leave no stone left unturned as we want every Tee to be a part of us as well as becoming a part of those who wear them!!!!

Ciao a tutti…io sono nato a Madrid (Spagna) nel 1981 durante gli anni della Movida, dell’ Atari e della Delorian di Ritorno al futuro. Con questi altri due pericolosi individui faccio parte di abiscuitaccident.com ricoprendo il ruolo di creativo e occupandomi della direzione artistica.Quello che rende abiscuitaccident.com unico è la passione con la quale ogni T-shirt viene concepita e la dinamicità con la quale tutta la squadra affronta questa avventura. Curiamo ogni particolare nei minimi dettagli perché vogliamo che ogni design sia parte di noi ma anche di chi andrà ad indossare un nostro capo.

Enrico Citron.... Who??I go by the name of Enrico and I was born 33 springs ago in the north–east of Italy, to be more precise in Treviso. For Abiscuitaccident.com I follow and co-ordinate the choice of artwork used on our Tees, working with a variety of designers and their suggested ideas. Moreover, I’m committed to following the product from start to finish, from the choosing together with the seriographic laboratory of the most appropriate techniques to be used for each and every design.It is an honour for me to be one of the founders of Abiscuitaccident.com. The commitment, constancy and the harmony which has been created within our work group feeds me with enthusiasm and makes me proud of the success which day after day we conquest.

Mi chiamo Enrico e sono nato 33 primavere fa nel nord-est d’ Italia e più precisamente a Treviso. Per Abiscuitaccident.com seguo e coordino la scelta degli artworks da utilizzare per le nostre tees intrattenendo relazioni con uno svariato numero di designers. Mi impegno inoltre a seguire il prodotto fino alla fine del processo produttivo scegliendo, assieme al laboratorio serigrafico, le tecniche di stampa più appropriate per ogni singolo design. E’ un onore per me essere stato uno dei fondatori di aba. L’ impegno, la costanza e l’ armonia che si sono creati all’ interno del nostro team di lavoro mi carica di entusiasmo e mi rende fiero dei successi che, giorno dopo giorno, andiamo a conquistare.

Design & Designers….The choice not to use our trustworthy designer for the artwork came about by the need to develop something unique and permit us to realize our dream, the choice fell and the idea to use designers from all corners of the world’s surface.It’s wonderful to see and Indonesians mystic and harmonious artwork coming to life as a design (see JesusVishnu of Tree-core), the comic American style (see designer of Wotto) while taking a look at the European designers who prefer a more essential approach.It’s really mindblowing and motivational to see how different lifestyles and culture influence the designers way of working so deeply and radically.It’ s for us both an honor and privilege to give this young and upcoming artists the possibility to express themselves in “the free-est” of ways.Again it’s both a privilege and honor to promote their works through ours.It is our hope to create (with who would like to work with us or just make an association) a widespread community where everyone feels “at home”.Finally it’s our honor and privilege to know those who buy a tee of abiscuitaccident will wear something unique of its type and produced with no stone left unturned.

Design & Designers….La scelta di non utilizzare un nostro designer di fiducia per realizzare gli artworks nasce dall’ esigenza di creare qualcosa che sia davvero unico e per poter realizzare questo sogno la nostra scelta è caduta su designers provenienti dai posti più diversi sulla faccia del globo.

E’ bello vedere come gli indonesiani abbiano uno approccio più “mistico” al design (vedi JesusVishnu di Treecore), gli americani più “fumettoso” (vedi gli artworks di Wotto) mentre osserviamo come i designers provenienti dal continente europeo preferiscano un stile più orientato all’ essenzialità (Mind Trick di Marco Cargnel).

E’ bello ed entusiasmante vedere come le diverse culture ed i diversi stili di vita di ogni designer influenzino il loro modo di lavorare in maniera così radicale e profonda.

E’ per noi un onore ed un privilegio dare la possibilità a tutti questi giovani artisti di potersi esprimere nella maniera più fantasiosa.E’ per noi un onore ed un privilegio poter promuovere i loro lavori attraverso il nostro.La nostra speranza è quella di riuscire a creare (con chi lavora con noi ma anche con chi vuole semplicemente interagire con abiscuitaccident.com) una grande comunity dove ognuno si possa sentire “a casa sua”.Ed è per noi un onore ed un privilegio sapere che chi acquista una tee di abiscuitaccident andrà ad indossare un capo unico nel suo genere e curato nei minimi particolari.
