• Consumer finds deposit locations by sending a SMS to 54646 – “cash <pin code>” • Pin code – the pin code he is in, required field

• SMS response goes out with 2 location addresses • Consumer goes to the deposit outlet and pays the money by giving the agent the

“airpay transaction id” • The agent updates the partner system with the “airpay transaction id” and

payment amount received • Airpay system is notified of this update via an API in real time the “payment status”

of the order as “Authorized” and notifies merchants of value added

We met in 2010 to build India’s Largest Entertainment portal www.hungama.com. While working on the portal we realised the difficulties & operational challenges we had to go through to integrate multiple payment instruments across the channels. The process got more complicated once the portal went live because of the multiple partners we had to work with.This was our eureka moment. We sensed a large untapped opportunity in the payment space. In 2013, we embarked on our journey to build India’s first online and offline payment solution company to offer merchants an integrated instrument and channel agnostic solution. An opportunity to simplify their payment collection and concentrate on their core business.
