QUALITY FLY was born from the vision of its two founders.

Both of our QUALITY FLY founders are highly experienced airline captains and instructors, who actively participate at the airline level training of first officers (co-pilots) and exemplify the profile of an exemplary airline pilot. Prior to the launch of QUALITY FLY, both founders agreed that the quality of the pilot candidates in the airline industry was significantly higher when these candidates had trained at large, expensive, and traditional flying academies. However, they shared another opinion: The world is full of highly motivated individuals with considerable talent and potential who dream of becoming pilots. The problem? They are unable to afford the necessary investment of more than €100,000. Their vision was born: Our founders decided to redefine the world of professional pilot training by creating uncompromised, excellent flight training at a price everyone can afford. COURSE STRUCTURE

205 Flight Hours

• 130 hours SEP Single-Engine Piston aircraft

• 15 hours MEP Multi-Engine Piston aircraft

• 40 hours IFR Instrument Flight Rules training in new generation FNTP II turbo-prop simulator

• 20 hours of MCC multi-crew simulator flight training, including 10 hours as Pilot Flying (PF) and 10 hours as Pi lot Monitoring (PM) – airline standard

800 Theory Hours

• 750 hours of tailored ATPL Theoretical Ground School

• 50 hours enrichment training

• The best training materials– provided by Jeppesen and Pooleys via iPad

• Exam preparation with progress tests from the largest database in Europe

12 & 18 MONTH COURSES

QUALITY FLY offers two ATP integrated training options:

• A 12 month course, with theory and flight in parallel, targeted at students with a good base of mathematics and physics, and top capabilities and motivation.

• An 18 month course, commencing with theoretical and followed by flight training recommended for students who need to work on and improve their level of maths.

• A 24 months course exists as well for students which combine part-time work with ATPL integrated. Presence in all classes is in any case mandatory.

QUALITY FLY is a growing organisation, dedicated to maintaining a team of highly motivated and top quality instructors. Our student selection process bears this in mind, so in addition to educating future airline pilots, we also consider our students as potential future flight instructors eligible to work at QUALITY FLY.

QUALITY FLY offers instructor courses together with a contract of employment for a predefined period. The program gives priority to students enrolled in our 12 month training course, although students in the 18 month course are also eligible.

END-TO-END COACHING

Prior to course completion, career advice sessions are offered, including CV and LinkedIn profile preparation, career choice analysis, networking, interview coaching, organization of mock interview sessions, group interview practice and simulator assessment preparation. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

A demanding admission exam is critical in order to assess the candidate. This includes evaluating basic skills, general knowledge, as well as personality and motivation. Not only is a candidate assessment required as per EASA regulations, but more importantly, it helps the candidate decide on whether a career as a pilot is actually a good fit for them.

Standard pre-requisites:

• English language equivalent to ICAO Level 4

• Hold a current EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate

• Be at least 17 years old

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent 17 years old pre-university education) or Master’s or Graduate degree. Exceptions may apply provided exams are passed.

The admission process includes:

1. A curriculum vitae and a cover letter must be submitted to begin the process. In case of candidates without professional experience, academic grades must be submitted as well. If selected:

2. A computer-based test is performed to evaluate IQ (intelligent quotient), EQ (emotional quotient) and English level for non-native speakers.

3. An admissions interview is done with the head of training to determine the candidate’s commitment, for him/her to ask any remaining questions, and jointly assess the candidate’s readiness to pursue a career in aviation.

Some considerations to be aware of when evaluating training organisations:

• Paying more than what is advertised: Some organizations purposely delay flight training phases in order to charge additional training hours. The internal performance targets of our team include achieving the required standard within the defined time period and flight hours.

• Unavailability of aircraft or fleet: Some flight schools have significant aircraft availability challenges. At QUALITY FLY, we limit the ratio of students to aircraft to guarantee aircraft availability for students.

• Inconsistent training standards between instructors: A number of instructors will train you throughout your course. At QUALITY FLY we track and review the progress of each student to ensure continuous learning and progression, while maintaining the highest level of instructor consistency.

• Upfront payments: It is always recommended to beware of training organisations demanding significant upfront course payments. At QUALITY FLY our payment methodology is “pay as you go.”

• No admissions interview: Besides being non-compliant with EASA regulations, a training organisation that does not conduct a student admission evaluation reflects the standard to be expected once enrolled in that organisation. At QUALITY FLY, we thoroughly evaluate all prospective students to ensure a high standard is maintained at all times.
