Air Mass= a large body of air that has properties similar to
the part of Earth’s surface over which it develops
a) can cover thousands of square kilometers
b) six major air masses that affect weather in the USA
c) if developed over land, it will be dry; if developed over
water, it will be moist;
d) if developed over northern regions, it will be cooler ;if
developed over the tropics, it will be warmer.
