Air Conditioning and Heat Pump ApplicationsTecumseh’s new VSC Series Scroll has been designed to replace Original Equipment compressors used today on 2 to 5 ton R22 and R410A residential unitary air conditioners and heat pumps. The VSC scroll compliments our current offering of 1-1/2 to 5 ton R22 reciprocating compressors, giving Tecumseh Authorized Wholesalers a single source for air conditioning replacement compressors.

VSC Series Scroll compressors are considered “Universal” replacements since they have the same mounting footprint, overall height, connection tube size/orientation and, performance characteristics of competitive models.
