A student will be required to complete Research Project of 06 Credit Hours under

supervision of appointed supervisor as per AIO rules! and submit to the A"C that

would be evaluated on the #uidelines #iven b$ H%C and AIO&

'he stud$ centres will arran#e research wor(shop for #uidin# the students re#ardin#

selection of the topic and preparation of research proposal&

'he topic of research project should be approved b$ supervisor) committee& 'he

s$nopses need to be approved from the *epartment of +usiness Administration as

well& "tudent would proceed for research after the approval of s$nopsis &

'he Research Project dul$ si#ned and stamped b$ supervisor and A"C would be sent

to the department of +usiness Administration b$ the A"C & "tudents are not allowed

to submit the project directl$ to the department of +usiness Administration& Research

project must be sent alon# with the approved cop$ of s$nopsis&

"upervisors will be appointed b$ A"Cs with the consultation and approval of the

*epartment& 'he stud$ centre will provide supervisors to the students& 'he supervisor

must be at least ,"),&Phil in relevant discipline& *etails of the students allotted to

the supervisors are required to be sent to the +usiness Administration *epartment

alon#with supervisor-s C.& It has to be ensured that the supervisors are either from themiddle mana#ement of an or#ani/ation or should be a facult$ member in an$ H%C

reco#ni/ed universit$& 'he supervisor should supervise the student b$ all means! but is

not supposed to do wor( for the student& One supervisor ma$ supervise maimum up

to 10 students&

'he project would be evaluated b$ the *epartment! 'he *ean will approve the name

of the %ternal %valuator out of the Panel of three %perts recommended b$ the

Chairman from the Panel of %perts approved b$ the .ice2Chancellor and forward the

Project to the %ternal %valuator for his)her opinion&

'he %ternal %valuator will evaluate the project! award mar(s out of the maimum

of 100 mar(s and send the result with his)her comments to the Chairman& In case

some chan#es or amendments are required in the Research Project the same will be

communicated to the student&

An etension of si months will be allowed twice be$ond one $ear b$ the Chairman&

An$ etension be$ond initial two $ears will be approved b$ the *ean on the

recommendation of Chairman) Chairperson)*irector& 'he student will have to pa$ fee

equal to three credits of master level pro#ram concerned for each etension&

If a student #ets pass mar(s i&e& 30 percent from both the %valuators! the

'he .iva2.oce Committee will certif$ satisfactor$ defense of the Research Project and its

%valuators and the .ive2.oce Committee will be added to arrive at the score for the project& 'he

mar(s so awarded will be forwarded b$ the Chairman to the Controller of %aminations for

notification and award of the *e#ree&

In case the student is not able to satisf$ the .ive2.oce Committee! he)she will be allowed two more

chances to appear for .iva2.oce within si months& If he)she does not satisf$ the .iva2.oce

Committee the third time! the project will be rejected finall$ and the student will be allowed to enroll

in the project with some other topic&

Academic uidelines re#ardin# the preparation of Research Project are as follows for facilitation&

AIO rules and re#ulations alread$ operative in ,aster Pro#rams and enforced from time to time

will strictl$ be followed in ,+A pro#ram as well&
