OBJECTIVES

• appreciate the relationship between overall educational aims and the aims of PE;

• differentiate between aims of and justifications for PE;• appreciate that aims of PE are of two types: those unique to

the subject and those that are broader educational aims shared with other curriculum subjects;

• understand that aims, objectives and ILOs influence your design and delivery of lessons.
