Can you grow your own plant?

Plants grow from seeds and need soil, water and light to grow.

You will need:

small pot like a yogurt pot or plant pot

soil (you could get a little bit of mud from your garden)

water

seeds – if your grown up can’t get any from the supermarket you could get a seed out

of an apple, pear or orange from your snack.

Put the soil in your small pot so that it is nearly full. make a small hole with your finger and

put your seed in the hole. Cover it up with a little bit more soil and give it a little bit of

water. Put it somewhere sunny and keep it watered to see if it will grow.
