It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Hyderabad for the InternationalSymposium on Inflammatory Bowel Disease scheduled on 26th - 28th January 2018.
Asyouareaware,IBDisanemergentdiseaseinIndiaandtheAsia-Pacificwitharising incidenceover the lastdecade.Crohnsdisease&ulcerativecolitisarechronic lifelongconditions.Establishingandmaintainingsymptomcontrolandremissioniscriticaltominimizethecomplications.Thechangingsocioeconomicenvironment and prevalent disease patterns has presented unique diagnosticdilemmas,managementcontroversiesandchallenges.
This symposium aims to provide an in-depth review of the pathophysiology,diagnostic methods, medical and surgical therapeutic approaches of IBD.Internationalandnationalexpertsinthefieldwilldiscuss,debateandhighlightthelatestconceptsandconsensusinthemanagementofIBD.
