GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURS PROGRAM:
AIESEC via the global platform offers students and recentgraduates the challenging opportunity to live and work in a foreignenvironment in areas of management, technology, education anddevelopment.
Through its Global Entrepreneurs Program AIESEC is providingyoung students to develop entrepreneurial and leadership skillsthrough international internships on mainly social issues.
Our objective is to target our countrys youth, the globalentrepreneurs of tomorrow, and help them enrich their educationby providing them with a holistic international experience whichwould help them in their future endeavors. This initiative willchallenge their worldview and help them gain a unique combinationof multi-cultural, social and entrepreneurial experience during theformative years of their lives.
Going on Exchange or an Internship is one of the most intenseearning experiences. It links together our global network presentover thousands of partner organizations, as each year we provideover 4,400 members with the experience of working abroad.
The Global Entrepreneurs Program for a participant would mainlyconsist of three phases:
1. Skill building blocks: A participant would have opportunitiesto entrepreneurship based training models.
For eg: Business plan competitions or learning events deliveredby support from field experts and partner organziations.
2. Issue Based Experience (IBXP): This would entailparticipation in AIESECs Issue based projects. These projectswould be on our Learning Networks. The participant wouldeither take responsiblity or a leadership role in the projects,gaining valuable skills and networks.
3. International Internship: This forms the most vital part ofthe program. The Exchange Particpant would have theopportunity to work with selected global projects in leadingAIESEC countries. These internships would be of 2 to 4 months
and would be again based on the Learning Networks.

Profile of Participants being targeted:
AIESEC Global Entrepreneurs Program:
The targeted group is school and college students across all yearsand backgrounds of their undergraduate studies (Age bracket: 17 to 23) The campaign seeks to reach out to 1,00,000 youth across 148nstitutes in 15 cities AIESEC India receives over 7,500 applicants, who undergo acompetitive and comprehensive selection process of application
review, group discussions and personal interviews.
GEP Flow and timelines:
Promotion, Selection and Application (Dec to Feb) - Information desks & seminars.
- Events like business plan competition & leadership summits to promote
the idea of young global entrepreneurs.
- Screening of applicants through group discussions & interviews.
Expectation setting of the applicants as per the offerings of theprogram
- Signing the contract and official registration in the system.
Induction and Preparation (Feb to April) - AIESEC provides resources, trainings and support to prepare you to liveand work in another country. This includes visa processing.- Students at this time will also particpate in Issue based projects (IBXP).- Introducing the participants to the AIESEC network
Finaizing an internship (Feb to March)
- Zeroing down on an internship for the participant among the available
project in the selected countries based on individuals competency levels.
- Post finalization of an internship, assisting the participant with the
invitation letters for the VISA.
Internship period
- The time period in which the participants will spend 2-3 months being in
a different country as part of the pre-chosen project.
- AIESEC members in the host chapter provide support and assistance ingetting setup while providing opportunities for cultural and social activities.
Re-Integration and further opportunities in AIESEC India
- Sharing their internship experience as case studies for other to follow.
- Introducing them to further leadership/international opportunities in the
AIESEC network

1.3 Cost Structure of AIESEC Global Entrepreneurs Program
1. Cost of Application form or Prospectus INR XX.
2. After EP clears Assessment Centre and is selected by AIESEC to apply for AIESEC Global
Community Development Program, s/he pays a sum of INR 5000(Non Refundable). Thisamount is charged as cost of providing access to AIESECs database i.e. internship
opportunities in selected countries.
3. After an Exchange Participant is selected for an AIESEC Internship by an organization, the EPpays the remaining amount as following, at the time of a match between the EP and theorganization.*
Development Internship INR 6000
4. Visa Charges have to be borne by the Exchange Participant. AIESEC will assist the EP withrequired Documents to apply for VISA and advice on Visa Process. AIESEC does not take any
responsibility for the visa charges and they have to be borne entirely by the ExchangeParticipant.
5. However the documents will be provided only if the remaining amount of INR 6000 is cleared
by the EP.
6. Exchange Participant has to take care of Air Ticket expenses. AIESEC does not take anyresponsibility for this.
*The amount INR 6000 paid will cover for free accomodation of Exchange participant and will coverfor one meal per day
*If we are not able to match the Exchange Participant for an AIESEC Internship INR 5000 will beRefunded.
