Letter from the National President of AIESEC in Cameroon Ladies and gentlemen, I am very pleased to welcome you here at our annual National Leadership Development Seminar. I want to extend my sincere greetings to you all individually which you do such a fine job by being present at this conference venue. I stand here today humbled by the task before us. In reaffirming the
stepping up of our organization, we understand that greatness is never a
given. It must be earned. At this right time today, when we finally reach to
the moment to close the conference, all kinds of strong feelings of this
experience comes to our minds.
On behalf of AIESEC Cameroon, I want to sincerely express the gratitude to
all of you who came through the conference together with us. It has been an
unforgettable honorable opportunity to work with you to create and impact
more life-changing experiences, among which many members have been
integrated with leadership elements. It has been a conference of learning,
challenging ourselves, pushing outside of the comfort zone. It has been like a
venture of friendship, leadership and joy! It wouldn't be so great and
meaningful for us without your support and efforts!
Thank you all the alumni and partners, the chair person, our Board of
Advisors! Thank you for all the support, coaching, encouragement and
advices you have been given us! They have been precious asset for this
conference and also great personal development experiences for every single
member!
I’m very proud too to inform that next year, in March 2010, AIESEC
Cameroon will host another big conference. We have been select to host the
2011 Africa Exchange Leadership and Development Seminar (NLDS 2011).It
will be not only a national conference, but an international conference where
delegates from the current 20 countries members of Africa network will
attend, in addition to the rest of the AIESEC global network means Asia and
Pacific, Ibero America, Middle East and North Africa, Western Europe and
North America and Central and Eastern Europe Networks.

The AIESEC Difference
The five (5) principles of this AIESEC Experience are: 1. Take an active role in your learning and the lea rning of others What it is? We are in charge of our own learning and also to help others in the team To learn. 2. Challenge Worldview All new information is interpreted through the worldview of the person, Including emotions, attitudes, values, passed experiences, and as a result, motivation And action. It affects a lot how and to what we direct our attention and action in Different situations. We want to create situations that broaden and challenge how we Think as individuals and help ourselves to see the connection between these Elements, their actions, and results. 3. Meta-Cognition and Personal Reflection Skills Refers to the capacity to recognize and evaluate our own thoughts, Values, emotions, motives, goals and actions. 4. Increasing Practical and Theoretical Knowledge The opportunity to gain professional and personal skills and to apply Them 5. Creating a Network of Contacts a group of like-minded people who are interested in seeing us make the Change we want to see in the world.
