Dear candidate, In this application you will be able to use all your creativity when creating and

designing your own application form to stand for the Executive Board role of AIESEC Ilorin for 2015 -2016 term. The process has been designed to help you step out of the crowd and feel completely comfortable with your application making sure that it reflects you; it reflects your personality and your perspectives. At the same time, filling the application will support you in preparing yourself for a great term on the Executive Board of AIESEC Ilorin.

Kindly read all instructions before you start designing as it is very paramount that you adhere strictly to them.

Note that you are to apply for two roles base on your perceive capacity.

The application for the Executive Board role of AIESEC Ilorin 1415 is divided into Eight parts: Executive Summary: A one page summary of your application.(creativity is left to

you) Biography Curriculum vitae Endorsements : 1 From someone you have worked with before,1 from a member of

the EB, 1 from an external (Alumni or BoA) BELBIN TEST Questionnaire: This has subdivisions which are General question, AIESEC Ilorin

reality, scenario questions and specific questions.(not more than 15 pages) Blank paper challenge Application Agreement Video (video of not more than 4 minutes)

Additional Notes for the Application: You can create your own design (graphic style and colour usage). Make sure you

create a separate file for each of the Eight parts. We will be expecting 10 PDF files in one zip folder.

Other information on some of the parts are in the subsequent pages of this booklet. All the parts must be saved with the part tittle E.g. Biography should be saved as

Biographt.pdf A clear and professional font type and size would be appreciated when answering

1. Make a SWOT analysis of current state in LC. 2. Identify 3 key areas/sectors that are shaping the Kwara state Economy and explain

how it influences AIESEC’s Contribution, Structure and Processes. 3. What do you think the limits that AIESEC Ilorin has to break? What would you do

to break it4. How can we evolve the product strategy and operations (product development,

marketing, sales, delivery etc.) of GCDP and/or GIP to better create an increasing customer demand while bringing strong financial capacity to the LC.

5. List at least 3 key selling points of AIESEC Global Exchange Program in a tailored-way according to the following groups of stakeholders: General Student Market , LC Members, EPs, Local Corporate Market (Companies, TN Takers), Local Non-Corporate Market (NGOs and others GCDP TN Takers), LC Supporters (financial and in-kind partners, learning partners).

1. Imagine you were told that you have a year left to live and this EB role happen to be the last job you would take in your life…what would you set out to achieve. Highlight the fundamental things you would dedicate your time and energy to.

2. In which situations confidentiality does not need to be kept?3. It’s Monday evening, due to unexpected circumstances you could not work on your

assignment during the day and you can only start late in the evening, the deadline is in the early morning so either you work during whole night or you will miss it. You have planned very important meeting on Tuesday that you cannot skip. What do you choose to do?

4. Describe the situation when you had to negotiate an important deal, how did you handle it?

1. Make a SWOT analysis of each functional area of the LC for the term 15.16 and propose base on your analysis strengths to capitalize on, threats to avoid or overcome, weaknesses to overcome and opportunities to explore for each of those functional areas.

2. What is your vision for your LC in the upcoming term? How do you want your LCP term to be remembered and what legacy do you want to leave for your LC?

3. What is the role of Executive Board in the LC? What do you want your EB team to be like and how will you achieve it?

4. Please describe the exchange results you want to achieve with your LC. Which are the main focus areas and Why? What are your concrete exchange goals for each exchange program and why?

5. Please give an overview of your competences in all following areas: Incoming Exchange, Outgoing Exchange, TM, Finance, Marketing, and External Relations (including companies, other organizations and Alumni). Which areas are your major strengths? In which areas will your need to improve your competences and how do you plan to do that?

6. One of the possible challenges of leading an LC is leading equals, meaning people with similar experiences. Explain concretely, how you will overcome this challenge.

7. In your opinion, which role does LCP have in cooperation with Member Committee?

8. What is the role of the President in the LC? How do you see your responsibilities and tasks as LCP?.

2. Make a SWOT Analysis of MarComms functional area and propose focus for term 15/16.

3. We want to position AIESEC Nigeria and AIESEC Ilorin as the youth leadership provider in Nigeria. What exact projects, strategies and initiatives would you implement to create a strong organizational reputation in our external environment? Make a timeline of your suggestions.

4. Evaluate the advantage of ELD program in terms of communications. Suggest strategy for generating bigger number of promoters and ELD customers.

5. Evaluate the synergies between MarCOMM and other Functional Areas and how you are going to develop them.

6. Design and attach to the application, a poster for AIESEC Ilorin Leadership series and a proposed logo.

7. What strategy would you propose as VP MarComms to drive Market Expansions for AIESEC Ilorin.

8. Write a one page content that sells AIESEC Ilorin OGCDP program. Content would be used in a blog site for promotions.

4. What is the meaning of “innovation” in Finance area? What kind of innovation processes are you going to develop for the next term as a VP FLA?

5. Suggest a standard pricing model for all AIESEC Ilorin Programs.

6. Imagine as at October 2015, 6 months to the end of your term, the LC has an account balance of 30000 Naira. What expenses/incomes will you prioritize and why? Do not forget that, Recruitment, Winter peak, Leadership series, Summer raise, Dinner are some of the key activities you would still face in the term.

7. Which is the part of the human body that Finance & Legal represents within the LC? Related to your answer, what is the main value that Finance and Legal can bring to the LC?
