What is Aid Management Platform (AMP)

• Background: Supports the global aid effectiveness agenda

AMP is a web-based tool that improves governments’ ability to:

• Manage aid projects;

• Evaluate impact;

• Harmonize aid activities with national planning objectives;

• Create reports;

• Coordinate events with donors; and

• Manage documents electronically.

Reduces transaction costs

Enables better analysis and decision-making

Enhances coordination with donors/partners

Maximizes the impact of development activities

Why is AMP Being Implemented

• Replaced unwieldy Excel based data management process • Collaborative data management model• Data management and validation workflow• Enables the production of annual ODA reports• Ease more complex reporting – Donor / Government

•Increase data analytics capacity

•Preparations for official launch in March/April

•Validate projects and give users access to the national workspace

•Line ministry inclusion

•Upgrade to new version and introduction of new features (v 1.13)
