ORGANIZATION PROFILE The Africa Helping Africans, AHA, Initiative Africans Helping Africans (AHA) Initiative, a global initiative to organize Africans to help fellow Africans through traveling to volunteer (voluntravel); promoting access to information for development (infodev) by establishing community access to information centers in communities; and promoting public speaking in institutions (Ongea Clubs). Our members include all people who are interested and willing to take part in contributing towards the development of Africa, by alleviating the pain and suffering faced by the needy, and providing innovative solutions freely to the continent. Our approach recognizes the undeniable truth that Africa has plenty of resources, and that whereas we can ask for assistance to develop, we can also organize and mobilize what we have to help ourselves. We are inspired by the Bantu Philosophy of Ubuntu; that we are because they are. Our Activities Helping: Once a month, every volunteer joins other volunteers in the monthly activity to give back to the community and help the needy in Africa. Networking: We also join each other in monthly social events forum for networking, adventure and fun activities. ORGANIZATION PROFILE

The Africa Helping Africans, AHA, Initiative

Africans Helping Africans (AHA) Initiative, a global initiative to organize Africans to help fellow Africans through traveling to volunteer (voluntravel); promoting access to information for development (infodev) by establishing community access to information centers in communities; and promoting public speaking in institutions (Ongea Clubs).

Our Activities

Helping: Once a month, every volunteer joins other volunteers in the monthly activity to give back to the community and help the needy in Africa.

Networking: We also join each other in monthly social events forum for networking, adventure and fun activities.

Learning: Further, we join each other in the monthly learning conferences, where we build on our financial literacy, personal and career development skills, including leadership and effective communication, and public speaking skills through Ongea Clubs at institutions.

Sustainability: We run AHA Shops all over the continent and the world, for the sale of AHA Branded items, whose proceeds partly go towards funding volunteer activities, and partly towards the Freedom Fund, a fund for financing promising business ideas by Africans.
