AgwoAyiti Hog Farming Project: Phase 1 Report Part 1 The images below show laborers working to level the land, which was the main activity constituting Phase 1 of this project. The work of phase one took longer than anticipated for two reasons. The first reason was due to consistent rainfall that has been falling during the last month. The rainy season has been especially moist this year, and this impacted our work, because it is impossible to work on the land when the soil is too saturated. Another thing that took longer than we expected was transporting the posts for the fence that we erected around the land. They were very heavy and had to be transported from close to Evens’ house in Timo up to the Béloc area of Tombe-Gâteau, which is where the structure will be located. The workers worked on several days over the course of one month.

AgwoAyiti Hog Farming Project: Phase 1 Report

Part 1

The images below show laborers working to level the land, which was the main activity constituting Phase 1 of

this project. The work of phase one took longer than anticipated for two reasons. The first reason was due to

consistent rainfall that has been falling during the last month. The rainy season has been especially moist this

year, and this impacted our work, because it is impossible to work on the land when the soil is too saturated.

Another thing that took longer than we expected was transporting the posts for the fence that we erected around

the land. They were very heavy and had to be transported from close to Evens’ house in Timo up to the Béloc area of Tombe-Gâteau, which is where the structure will be located. The workers worked on several days over

the course of one month.

Part 2

A construction boss made the eighteen posts shown in the images below, which were used to erect the fence

around the site. Materials also included one wire roller that was purchased from Eko Depot. Below are images of

the posts and the wire roll.

The images below show all of the materials gathered on the site. The site has already been fully leveled as

mentioned above. Additionally, the wooden posts and barbed wire roll have been assembled on the site, as well a

truckload of sand that will be used in construction of concrete blocks. This sand was purchased and a truck and

driver were hired to deposit it on the site.

Please note that the above left receipt reads “Nul.” This was a mistake made by the seller, who meant to write “Livré” or “Delivered.”
