ENG Over the years, AGV has perfected an integrated design system where research, knowledge and different areas of expertise have come together with the aim of constantly improving our products.

This system is managed digitally at every stage; we begin with hand sketches (1) and realistic photographic renderings (2), which after a digital mock-up stage (3-4) (C.A.I.D. - Computer Aided Industrial Design) and mechanical design (5) (C.A.D. - Computer Aided Design) become 3D files that can be used to generate a virtual environment. This is made available to the various departments involved in product development (designers, the sales department, design engineers, the industrial production department and the product testing department).

Having completed several important stages, the feasibility of design choices is confirmed using a series of rapid prototypes, an FEA analysis (6) (Finite Elements model Analysis, i.e virtual crashes) and a FMEA (Failure and Mode Effect Analysis), which study in fine detail a product’s final features (aesthetic features-size-functions-aerodynamic performance ergonomic features-structural features), before industrial production begins.

Having carefully prepared the machinery required for production, test prototypes are produced for road and track trials before a product’s launch on the market. This system allows us to have accurate and synergic control of every step in a product’s development, resulting in the constant improvement of a product’s performance.

AGV ha perfeccionado con los años un método de proyectación integrado en el que confluyen investigaciones, conocimientos y experiencias multidisciplinares dirigidas a la mejora constante del producto. El proyecto es gestionado en cada fase digitalmente creando inicialmente bocetos de estilo (1) y renderings fotorrealistas (2) que mediante el modelado 3D (3-4) (C.A.I.D. - Computer Aided Industrial Design) y la proyectación mecánica (5) (C.A.D. - Computer Aided Design) se convierten en modelos matemáticos útiles para generar un entorno virtual compartido por los diferentes ámbitos que participan en el desarrollo del producto (diseñadores, parte comercial, ingenieros proyectistas, industrialización, probadores). Al término de algunas importantes iteraciones, la buena calidad de las elecciones proyectivas es validada mediante una serie de prototipos rápidos, análisis FEA (6) (Finite Elements model Analysis, es decir, crash virtuales) y FMEA (Failure and Mode Effect Analysis) que estudian minuciosamente las características finales del producto ( estéticas-dimensionales-funcionales-aerodinámicas-ergonómicas-estructurales) antes de la fase de industrialización. Una vez realizados cuidadosamente los equipos de producción, se preparan los prototipos para su homologación, para la prueba en carretera y en pista antes de su lanzamiento al mercado. Esta metodología permite un control puntual y sinérgico en cada paso de desarrollo mejorando progresivamente las prestaciones del producto.

Au cours des années, Agv a perfectionné une méthode intégrée dans laquelle confluent les recherches, les connaissances et les expériences multidisciplinaires visant l’amélioration constante du produit.Le projet est géré dans toutes ses phases avec un procédé numérique en créant initialement des ébauches de style (1) et des rendus photoréalistes (2) qui à travers la modélisation 3D (3-4) (C.A.I.D. – Conception industrielle assistée par ordinateur) et la conception mécanique (5) (C.A.O. – Conception assistée par ordinateur) deviennent des modèles mathématiques servant à générer un environnement virtuel où collaborent les différents acteurs impliqués dans le développement du produit (designers, partie commerciale, ingénieurs concepteurs, industrialisation, testeurs).À la fin de certaines interactions importantes, les meilleurs choix sont validés à travers une série de prototypes rapides, analyse FEA (6) (Finite Elements model Analysis, l’analyse par éléments finis c’est-à-dire les crashs virtuels) et FMEA (Failure and Mode Effect Analysis – AMDE Analyse des Modes de Défaillance et de leurs Effets) qui étudient minutieusement les caractéristiques finales du produit (esthétiques-dimensionnelles-fonctionnelles-aérodynamiques-ergonomiques-structurelles) avant la phase d’industrialisation. Après avoir réalisé soigneusement l’outillage de production, on prépare les prototypes pour l’homologation, pour l’essai sur route et sur circuit avant le lancement sur le marché. Cette méthodologie permet un contrôle ponctuel et synergique de chaque phase de développement en améliorant progressivement les performances du produit.

Realizzate accuratamente le attrezzature di produzione, si preparano i prototipi per l’omologazione, per il collaudo su strada e su pista prima del lancio sul mercato. Questa metodologia permette un controllo puntuale e sinergico in ogni step di sviluppo migliorando progressivamente le prestazioni del prodotto.

AGV hat im Laufe der Jahre eine integrierte Planungsmethode entwickelt, bei der zur konstanten Verbesserung des Produktes Forschungsergebnisse, Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen aus mehreren Sektoren zusammenfließen.Das Projekt wird in jeder Phase digital gesteuert, indem anfangs Stilskizzen angefertigt werden (1) und fotorealistische Renderings (2), die durch die 3D-Modellierung (3-4) (C.A.I.D. - Computer Aided Industrial Design) und die mechanische Planung (5) (C.A.D. - Computer Aided Design) in mathematische Modelle übersetzt werden, sodass man einen virtuellen Raum schafft, den sich die verschiedenen, in die Produktentwicklung involvierten Abteilungen (Design, Verkauf, Ingenieure bzw. Nach sorgfältiger Ausarbeitung der Produktionsgeräte werden die Prototypen für die Zulassung sowie die Abnahme auf Straße und Piste angefertigt, bevor man das Produkt auf den Markt bringt.Mit dieser Methode kann jede Phase der Entwicklung sorgfältig kontrolliert und koordiniert werden, sodass man nach und nach die Produktleistungen verbessert.

SHARP (Safety Helmet and Assessment Rating Programme), established in 2007, it’s the new helmet safety scheme for motorcyclists created by the Uk Department for Transport and provides consumers with an independent assessment of the safety performance of some of the most popular helmets sold in the Uk. The SHARP RATING reflects the performance of each helmet model following a series of advanced laboratory tests; the rating system goes from 1 (Min.) to 5 (Max.) stars. According to SHARP research up to 50 motorcyclists’ lives could be saved every year if everyone wore a helmet that scores highly in the SHARP testing system. These shields can only be used for competitions and private race tracks. AGV denies any and all responsibilities deriving from such use.
