Increased investment in rural infrastructure, research and development, effective management and development of cooperatives and farmer/fisherfolks self-reliance programs Ensure the continuation and expansion of its programs aimed at increasing production and encouragement of consumers to patronize local agricultural products Emphasis on intensive agriculture within ecological limits, prevent further destruction of natural resources and to accelerate health and education programs which aim to improve the quality of life of farmers and fishfolks Address among others the need for more sustainable production and export competitiveness Look into the production of agricultural imports, plant genetic material and fertilizer, product diversification and processing of agricultural products for non-traditional use
