A practicalapproach to thelabour reformA symposium entitled A Practical Approach tothe Labour Re form took p lace on 30thNovember, chaired by David Ayuso, head of theEmployment Department at AGM Madrid, andJavier Márquez, payroll specialist in the samedepartment.

The aim of the event was to report and expand indetail on the most significant aspects of theSpanish labour reform act passed recently.

The symposium was approached in a practicalspirit, encouraging participation by those inattendance and answering their queries one byone, so ensuring that their doubts were clearedup in an individualised way.

“CriminalDefence forcompanies”discussionOn 14th December AGM Abogados took partin a discussion on criminal liability forcompanies. Alfons Conesa, head of the TownPlanning Department, and Javier Trenado,head of the Criminal Department, both atAGM Abogados, gave the talk.

A highlight of the reform is its rigour with thefigure of the company officer, establishingpenalties which include prison.

In connection with this occasion, AlfonsConesa gave an interview to Radio Berga on10th December.
