the surroundingshe Algarve is the southern most region of Portugal. Over the past 35 years, it has been become one of Europe’s most popular holiday

destinations and Faro International Airport currently handles more than 5.5 million passengers a year. The property is situated very near to the resort of Praia do Carvoeiro in an established residential area. Praia do Carvoeiro is a popular beach resort in Western Algarve. The accommodation in the area is predominantly low-rise tourist accommodation and Carvoeiro has traditionally appealed to families looking for a relatively quiet area with a good range of commercial and recreational facilities. The area has also long been considered an excellent area for tourist to acquire property also due to the variety and pleasure provided its many small beaches. High cliffs surround most of these beaches and some have eroded to create beckoning dark caves, most of these are only accessible at low tide when it becomes a truly romantic setting.

The Aurora Group projects The Ocean and The

Beach are located in Carvoeiro area, which is part

of Lagoa. It is located approximately 60 kilometres

west of Faro, the regional capital and site of the

nearest international airport in the Algarve.

the ViP cluburora Group offers clients to become property owners in a form of fractional ownership from as little as €37.500 with all the luxury one can imagine

such as the access to most of the best golf courses in the south of Portugal, its private yacht and sail boat collection, luxury car club, sky boxes at the football stadium and race track, with a 5 star hotel service to take care of all matters at hand and much more, at a small percentage of their real cost. Fractional ownership is becoming a popular trend in real estate, as second home owners do not want to spend hundreds of thousands of Euros to buy a home they rarely use and have the headache of maintaining the property. Most

The concept behind the VIP clubs is to give our clients

the multimillionaire lifestyle — The New Luxury

Lifestyle Concept — for a very affordable price.

Asecond home owners rarely use their second homes for more than a month or two throughout the year, which is why the Aurora Concept is based on the fractional ownership which has proven to be a success throughout the world.

Aurora Group has initialized the set up of the VIP Clubs so that potential investors and home owners can feel and experience The New Luxury Lifestyle Concept.

The Aurora Racing Team is an important part of the VIP clubs as this is a great and successful marketing tool and branding recognition for the promotions of the Aurora Group Real Estate.

ortugal emerged from a dictatorship in April 1974 during a left-wing military coup that resulted in broad democratic reforms taking place ever since.

The country has also been a key player on the world stage and is a founding member of NATO and entered the European Community in 1986, heralding the start of two decades of relative prosperity. It is currently leading a NATO operation off the coast of Somalia to combat pirates who have tormented vessels in the Gulf of Aden.

According to the CIA Factbook on Portugal, the country has become “A diversified and increasingly service-based economy since joining the European Community in 1986. Over the past two decades, successive governments have privatised many state-controlled firms and liberalised key areas of the economy, including the financial and telecommunications sectors.” Portugal signed up for the single European monetary unit and starting using the euro on January 1, 2002.

While Portugal is rated top for its national health service and has one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the world, it has faced challenges in the education system which has often hampered productivity. The country has also faced competition from markets in Central Europe and Asia, but numerous studies showing Portugal to be one of the safest, if not the safest country in Europe, has resulted in many northern European deciding to retire here as opposed to Spain or other ‘new’ destinations along the Mediterranean.

Economic growth in Portugal had been above the EU average for much of the 1990s, but fell back in 2001-08. GDP per capita stands at roughly two-thirds of the EU-27 average, the CIA Factbook says in its most recent report on the country. The budget deficit surged to an all-time high of 6% of GDP in 2005, but the Government reduced the deficit to 2.6% in 2007 — a year ahead of Portugal’s targeted schedule. Nonetheless, the Government faces tough choices in its attempts to boost the economy, which declined 0.1% in 2008, while keeping the budget deficit within the euro-zone 3%-of-GDP ceiling. The country recently emerged from a year-long economic recession after reporting positive growth during the third quarter of 2009 and growth is predicted for 2010 by international agencies such as Eurostat, the OECD and the IMF.

PThe current Government in Portugal is the Socialist Party, though it has alienated many of its leftist supporters for its capitalistic approaches in the economy and relaxing labour laws.Prime Minister José Sócrates unveiled the Government’s programme for the next mandate which terminates in 2013 at the beginning of November, stating his commitment to continue stimulating Portugal’s weakened economy through major public works programmes, including the building of a bullet-train network and a new international airport for Lisbon. Besides the construction of the airport and high-speed train links from Lisbon to Madrid and Lisbon to Oporto and Vigo, he was quoted by the national news agency Lusa as saying public investment would continue in upgrading the country’s schools, healthcare facilities and social infrastructure, as well as renewable energy projects.

hermometers consistently climbed to the 30ºC mark during October, and while some might suggest this to have been a sign of global warming, the Algarve is

renowned for its two month winters and mild temperatures for the remainder of the year. With over 3,000 hours of sunshine, the Algarve is a favourite holiday destination.

Golfers flood the region in the autumn, and November is considered a peak month, as northern Europeans flee sleet and snow to enjoy sunshine and average temperatures in the region reach 20ºC.

Beaches in the Algarve are widely considered to be amongst the most picturesque in the world, with Praia da Rocha in Portimão deemed to one of the most photographed. As the Algarve Tourism Board explains, “There are beaches to suit every taste with the majority having gained due recognition in the form of the EU “Blue Flag” for quality standards. Along its 200-kilometre coastline, the Algarve features all types of coves, cliffs and caves, its rocky beaches contrasting with broad expanses of sand. Different types of beach, but all bathed in the calm, warm sea-waters of this coastline. Equally attractive is the Algarve’s mild climate all year round. From Odeceixe all the way to Vila Real de Santo António, the entire coast enjoys a Mediterranean-style microclimate with temperatures that vary from 15ºC in winter through to 30ºC in summer.”

Only 3 hours away from most of Europe’s international airports, coupled with the success of low-cost airlines, the Algarve is popular destination, an increasing number of people using the region as a weekend getaway whenever they have the need to be reminded what the sun looks like!
