2. Theory

Every system has its own equilibrium. It is created by theinteractions between agents which is assumed to act within

their own interest and have no idea about how much their

actions affect the systems equilibrium.

Agent-based models can explain the emergence of higher-

order patternsnetwork structures of terrorist organizations

and the Internet, traffic jams, wars, and stock-market crashes.
