NEEDS ASSESSMENT There continues to be significant educational need for this annual meeting and scientific program. The rapid evolution of knowledge coupled with an unprecedented release of practice changing clinical trials require an on-going review to ensure accurate diagnosis and management options by all levels of the uro-logic community.

The process to assess an educational need for this course was drawn from recent thera-peutic guidelines, published sources of clinical data, and available research on knowledge and practice gaps among health care professionals working in this area.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVESAt the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:• Apply Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) in the urologic practice to better diagnose, triage, and manage patients in various stages of urologic diseases• Develop collaboration between urologists, genitourinary oncologists, and radiation oncologists for patient care from diagnosis to management• Review common coding questions, update CPT coding skills, ICD-10 coding, and modifiers in billing to optimize reimbursement • Integrate new and modified testing and optimal medical treatment selection for prevention of stone disease and optimal outcomes• Devise treatment algorithms and coordinate multi-specialty care for patients presenting with gender identity issues• Assess the evolving knowledge regarding the biology of genitourinary cancer coupled with the release of practice changing clinical trials and approvals that help define outcomes and treatment choices for patients
