• First, take your “law idea” and do a rough draft of your law into the “Bill Format” on a left side page of your notebook. (20 min)

“There ought to be a law…”• Get in to a group (Committees) of 4 and share out each

of your ideas. Start thinking about which one is the best one which you think could pass the “Class Congress.”

• See handout about final bill for revisions & begin working on your bills as a group.

• Your group will make a decision on its best bill on Monday.

• Remember - Your bill should be on a left-side page of your notebook when it is finished.
