We have tried to involve everyone in the organization for improving the use but

some senior teachers could be ashamed to loose prestige or control or time in leaving the guide to active students

It is not easy to change

Some of them are used to speak towards concentrated and silent students

supposed only to copy from the board, or to ineract with the teacher…… but they are curious and I am sure that in

short time they also will appreciate the new technologies..

Tibetan Mandala made of sand and supposed to be …..thrown into the sacred

river of the life…

…what for a Buddhist is a necessary humble act, for education is a lost and a waste of opportunities for the excluded or not yet connected children …

On one side it is necessary to be protected by the sun

Historically, the mandala was not created with natural, dyed sand, but granules of crushed coloured stone. In modern times, plain white stones are ground down and dyed with opaque inks to achieve thesame effect. Before laying down the sand, the monks assigned to theproject will draw the geometric measurements associated with the mandala. The sand granules are then applied using small tubes,funnels, and scrapers, until the desired pattern over-top is achieved.Sand mandalas traditionally take several weeks to build, due to thelarge amount of work involved in laying down the sand in such intricatedetail. It is common that a team of monks will work together on theproject, creating one section of the diagram at a time, usually workingfrom the center outwards

New equipments and facilities

Senior Teachers Maria Nicoletti, Elisa De Santis, Maria Mascheretti, Giovanna Landolfi and Maria Mulè were alternatively in charge of Deputy of the Second Building.

Senior Teacher almost on live Elisa De Santis has had a primary role in supporting in three years the renovation procedures: we should learn from her the skilfullness of LLP – Life Long Learning – with a never end curious approach!

In Februaqry 2008, Teachers Anna Costante and Daniela Cataldo were the first to emphasize the importance to enter into the second Building also if a lot of improvements and facilities were still not available...

Administrative personnel as Annalisa Filotico and Luana Naibo with the help of Giovanna Paciotta, Mario Vertenzi, Tullio Carbone, Piero D’Angeolo and Loredana Pietraforte have had a crucial role in successing the procedure in time despite of thousands of obstacles!
