Equipment Service and MaintenanceService, like the quality craftsmanship that goes into our reliable products, is an ongoing tradition at Stewart & Stevenson. Our highly trained, factory certified technicians quickly diagnose equipment problems and organize solutions to put out-of-service units back to work.

Stewart & Stevenson’s U.S. service facilities feature modern service bays, test equipment and all tools necessary to fulfill our commitment to timely, accurate and quality service. Technicians with fully equipped and stocked service vehicles provide onsite service at domestic customer locations.

Stewart & Stevenson’s technicians travel worldwide to provide onsite service wherever our clients’ equipment is located, and remain for extended duty as required. Translators ensure that our technicians accurately understand the needs of international clients.

Preventive MaintenanceCustomized preventive maintenance performed by our qualified technicians extends the useful life of equipment and minimizes unproductive downtime caused by unexpected equipment failures. Long-term Maintenance ContractsStewart & Stevenson offers long-term maintenance contracts for equipment put into operation in remote locations. Dedicated technicians travel to provide service and repair on equipment operating at far distances from service centers. Long-term maintenance is a component of international clients’ sales contracts.

Equipment Overhaul and RefurbishmentEngine and Transmission OverhaulStewart & Stevenson service shops feature chassis and engine dynamometers and have the capability to overhaul engines and transmissions.

We perform: nn Service that includes replacement of worn parts to bring the engine or transmission back into operating conditionnn Minor overhauls, in which every component is removed, cleaned, checked and repaired or replaced.nn Total rebuilds, which is complete disassembly and rebuilding with all new or remanufactured OEM components.
