Why do all good things come to an end

Chapter 1: The Beginning

‘If I touch a burning candle, I can feel no pain. Mom says it’s normal… for the

fire nation.’ I whispered while waving my hand on top of a candle that’s beenlighted.“Tiffany…” I could hear mother Susan’s sweet voice calling out my name. Itsounds like she’s in a hurry.She opened my door, already found me. “There you are, I’ve been lookingeverywhere for you.” She grabbed my hand and we walked out of my roomquickly as possible.Once we got out of my room, everyone was running everywhere. Screamingand panicking. And there were explosions and fire outside our backyard.“Mom, what is going on?” I asked.She didn’t answer; she was in a hurry and I didn’t know why. But she washolding my hand really tight like she didn’t want to let go.

“Mom, what is going on?” I continued when I started panicking.Everyone was still yelling and screaming for help. When we walked pass aroom, there was a monster destroying one of a family in the mansion. Afterwe left the monster got the man who was trying to protect his wife and child.

The man turned into blue dust and burst into blue crystals.Mom and I ran pass the balcony outside. I saw people outside, with red brighteyes. But some of them didn’t have bright red eyes. I made mom let go of myhand.I saw Dad got stabbed by sword.“Dad” I shouted loudly.He turned around, “Susan take her away!” he ordered.Mom tried to pull me away from the balcony, except I wouldn’t let her.

“No…! Dad! Dad! DAD” I shouted continually. There was red crystal that’s flowing around him. He looked at mom and mesadly.“David!” mom said in a low toned voice.“I won’t lose my pride! Please understand me! Susan… Tiffany…” he saidwith so much kindness.“Begin a new leaf, once you’ve been awakened. I love you… my sweetprincess.” He continued.



After he said that with so much sadness but with kindness at the same time;he burst into red crystals. All that was left was his grey jacket and his otherclothes and shoes.“DAD!!!” I shouted so loudly.After I shouted, this guy from outside was staring at me… he had theweirdest eyes I’ve ever seen. His right side was bright red, and the other was

bright blue. And he has long deep dark brown curly hair.He continually stared at me, and he made this creepy grin.“Tiffany!” he said when his voice echoed inside my head.“Come on Tiffany.” Mom said when she pulled me in.We kept on running after she pulled me back in from outside the balcony.And then we finally stopped; we were in the kitchen room. She hid me insome closet. It didn’t look like she was coming in with me; she was justkneeling down smiling happily like nothing is going on.“Mom” I whispered when I looked at her still panicked.She still didn’t say anything; he hugged me with a smile still on her face.“Stay here until morning, okay.” she finally said.She was looking at me with the same eyes. Her long wavy curled hair was

down and not tied up. She was wearing a white dress and it had a blood stainon her left shoulder.I looked over to her right and outside the kitchen door. Everyone was stillscreaming. “Mom, will you please tell me what’s going on? Dad… he just…disappeared… why?” I continued shaking a lot than before.She hugged me once more, then I started to see all blurry and I was gettingdizzy.“I’m so proud of you, Tiffany.” She whispered on top of my head.She was doing something to me. She kept on smoothing the back of my shortred brown hair. It was one of her advanced powers, a fire queen that couldonly have, make people lose their memories or make them go to sleep. Thisfelt different from when she uses to put me to sleep. She was doing

something else.Every time I blink I see blurs… the room going everywhere.“Mom…” I was slowly suddenly falling asleep. I could still hear everyone’svoices, and the noises outside.‘Remember who you are, Tiffany.’ When I was slowly lying down, my motherstill smiled at me; but something was wrong. There was blood coming outfrom her forehead and down to her chin.

Those were her last words after I fell asleep. I was young. Only five years oldand sometimes I didn’t understand of what’s going on around the place.

That’s me, which is who I am.

And then I woke up, away from my memories. I yelled because after thatdream I fell out of my bed. It was like I was actually there even though I’malready here.“Oh, my god” Emily said as she came in my room.Emily Bailey Green is the daughter of Eliza Green and Marcus Green, herfather is still alive at the age of forty; but her mother died when she waseight years old in a tragic car accident, and she died at the age of twenty-nine. Emily moved to Forks Academy when she was thirteen years old. Shenever knew anyone from back then, and I never knew her. She was a quiet



girl and wasn’t very good at talking to boys. Her mother Eliza Green, she wasonce a gang leader and was given the nickname “Green Butterfly”. Herparents barely paid attention to her of getting married to Emily’s fatherMarcus (the earth king). When they first met they spent a lot of time togetherand they both developed crushes on each other. She began going back toschool and ditched her gang. One day she spoke to her parents when Marcus

barged in, saying that he wanted to marry Eliza. Neither Eliza nor her parentsbelieved him at first (but she did say yes). After Eliza and Marcus got marriedand had Emily, time went quickly. Emily looked nothing like her mother; Elizahas red short hair and blue eyes.My blanket was on top of my head covering half of my face. I looked at Emily,“please help me up.” I muttered.She started to giggle. “Why not Miss. Fancy Pants.” She joked.I faked laugh, “not funny.” I said with a straight face.“I’m sorry it was just funny, admit it” she said when her laughter was slowingdown but she was still smiling.“Emily!” I winged.“Okay, okay” she said.

This is the privately run Forks Academy, a famous school where all studentsstay in their dorm. This Academy is divided into three classes. ForksAcademy, the Guardian Academy and the Warrior Academy, everyone elseare ordinary humans. Some have element powers like Emily and I; somedon’t. Forks Academy is the only school for humans. The other’s they have allmany different kind of advanced powers. I was in my school uniform and sowas Emily. In Forks Academy in summer girls has to wear black skirts that areabove the knees; and brown booty looking shoes, long black or white socksonly to be worn. And for the top, we have a white long sleeved t-shirtunderneath, and then a black vest with a black jacket. Same goes with theboys but pants instead of skirts. And it’s also the same kind of clothes for the

Guardian and the Warrior Academies, but the guardian’s clothes are whitewith black vest, and black shoes, same goes with the warrior classes’ clothes.Oh and for winter, you could just wear anything; which is great.Forks Academy is like a triangle. On the left side of the Academy are theGuardian Academy, and the other the Warrior. And at each ends they alwayshave gates and guards.Oh yeah, and this is the start of the year, January, the first two thousand andnine.“Hey, look there’s the others” Emily said as she spotted the others.We walked over to them. “Hey guys, great morning huh” I said happily.I have the greatest friends out of everyone… I think. Sarah M. Roberts is along wavy blonde headed girl with great blue shinning eyes that you couldnever take eyes off. She’s been living with her Aunt Karol and Uncle LarryWatson. She’s been living with them since she was ten. When she was sixyears old, her and her parents and her beloved sister Kristy were going on aholiday trip. They stopped at a gas station. Her Dad was filling up the car withgas while her mum and sister were both in the car. Sarah went to the shopand got some food and drink. But as she came back… a car from the freewaywas going crazy. It banged into Sarah’s parents car. She has been miserablethen. It wouldn’t get out of her mind, and she still hasn’t forgotten about it;



and she likes not to talk about it. And she’s just an ordinary human; shedoesn’t have any powers like me and Emily. But she keeps that as a secret,which makes her one of my greatest friends. And she moved here to ForksAcademy when she was fourteen, and she’s the second oldest, her birthdaydoesn’t start till January the twentiethAnd then there was Maddie W. Star, a girl who moved to Forks Academy and

was forced to stay at the Warrior Academy. She moved here when she wasthirteen. She’s a Warrior Princess, and she’s older than us she’s seventeenyears old. And only thing that she hates is humans, she says no offence toSarah but she doesn’t mean humans like her. It’s because Maddie’s fatherdied getting bashed and shot by human gangsters when she was eight. Andnow she only has her mum. She has this gorgeous hazel eyes just like Emily’sand she also has this hip looks that she doe’s everyday. She changes herhairstyle every morning when she gets to class or anything. But she’s got anice long straight brown hair.And finally but not least, Donna May Blooms; a water princess who has darkbrown eyes and longish black layered hair; Donna has not lost anyone. Whichis were all happy for her, she doesn’t have to feel what we’re feeling…

because it’s not great. She’s a month older than me, her birthday is on theAugust and mine is on September, so which makes me the youngest out of my friends. And she moved here when she was seven.Everyone was talking and chatting in front of me. I was pretty happywatching them talk, because it makes me happy.“Tiffany…” a voice called out my name from behind.

When I was about to look behind me, half of my memories sort of showed,like it was from the beginning.“Where did you find her?” as I was remembering I remembered that it wasMr. Forks that took me in the Academy, except I was trying to recognized whowas next to me. Because it wasn’t just me who was standing right in front of Mr. Fork’s Academy door, someone else was with me.

“She nearly got killed Richard, I had to save her, there was nothing I coulddo” another voice came, a familiar one, talking to Mr. Forks.“Did any human’s saw?’ Mr. Forks asked.It’s hard when your memories have been erased. Because it’s like you’restarting a whole new life again.“Hugh!” and there I was, my voice calling out—Hugh’s name.So it was Hugh that saved me from this monster ten years ago, I didn’t

realize that till now.“Promise that you’ll come back tomorrow” I was hugging him, and I askedhim something that I only think is ridiculous.“I Promise, princess” Hugh said when he gave me a one good hug before heleft.As Hugh left he was the shadow that’s being stuck in my head, I’ve beentrying to remember whose shadow that was since I had been having thesebad dreams of mine.“Tiffany… Tiffany” Maddie was trying to wake me up; she was clicking herfingers in front of me.I shook my head, and then I finally focused.“Hugh is coming over… here to you” Maddie continue.



Every girl was behind me, while Hugh was walking towards me every girl’sfaces were all glittering, like they were day dreaming about him whilewalking towards me.“Hugh” I said happily with a smile, but kind of a little shy to talk to him today.Hugh is a very handsome guy around, I mean, he does have a nice longstraight light blonde hair. And a nice grey eagle eye with a handsome smile.

He is eighteen years old, nearly nineteen actually. His birthday is in Marchthe twentieth.He stopped in front of me with both of his hands in his pockets. He waswearing one of the Guardian Academy clothes; of course he’s one of the guyswe like to call… Guardian. And he’s also my English teacher, pretty young fora teenager; but that’s what he wanted.“Hello Princess” he said.I made a frown, and smiled a little while I nodded. “Oh- princess…um” and Ikind of looked down.“Why so upset?” he said when he got my chin up looking straight at his eyes.I made him let go. “No, no, I’m not.” when I was talking to Hugh every girl atthis Academy was behind me, with their eyes still glittering at him.

“With you looking upset it makes me feel lonely” Hugh continued when hishusky voice turned into sadness.“Oh no, I didn’t mean to make Hugh feel lonely…” I murmured.He hummed.“Uh- it’s just that Hugh saved my life ten years ago from a demon… and Idon’t know how to thank you” I continued smiling when I was rememberingat the same time.“That was ten years ago, things have change around here, Tiffany” he saidholding my head when I looked down.“Oh- okay” I whispered.“Hugh…” I called when he nearly left.He turned around. “Hmm- what is it?”

I tilted my head over to my right and I smiled at him continually.“Promise you’ll never leave me”He smiled back. “I promise, my princess.”I didn’t say anything else but waved at him, and it seems like he’s going toclass.“Wow… you are one lucky girl Tiff” one of the girls said behind me.“Huh! Why?’ I ask looking behind my right shoulder.“Because you have the most popular guy from the Guardian Academy”another girl said when I looked at my left shoulder.“How do you do it, how do you talk to him? It’s so difficult talking to anystudents from the guardian and the warrior Academy.” Another girl said infront of me.“I don’t know… I don’t find myself lucky…” I said as she gave me a shockwhen she jumped in front of me.“Okay girls, she has a class to go to…class” Donna said as she was trying toget me out from the crowd full of girls.“Is it because you’re the fire princess?” They where still talking to me when Ihad my back at them while Maddie and Donna was getting me away from allof them.



“Do you have English with Hugh? Isn’t he your teacher as well” they just kepton talking and talking, I couldn’t stop looking back, they where just so loud.

Chapter 2:A Princess Blossoms

What happened yesterday was pretty… well how do you put it this way?Disturbing; and when I had English with Hugh being my teacher I was prettyquiet at that time. Hugh answered me many questions but I never answered,all I did was answer the wrong thing. I was ashamed of myself that day, but Ithink I’ll clear it off by apologizing to him. But first I’m going straight to Mr.Fork’s office, seeing how he is. Mr. Richard Forks is the Headmaster of everyAcademy, but Hugh is the headmaster of the Guardian Academy. But still, Mr.Forks is the lead.

I knocked at his door, he told me to come in. When I opened the door I kind of peeked in, he looked at me and I smiled at him once I came in.“Hi,” I said waving when I stood there in front of him.

“Something wrong?” he asked.I shook my head, “no, no I just—you know wanted to see you, Mr. Forks.”After I said that, he was then upset. He tilted his head over to his leftshoulder and pretended to cry.“Please call me Dad…or Daddy.”“Uh…Dad” I whispered not wanting to say that, because of how he reacts.“I knew it… my little fire princess still hasn’t disappointed me” he shoutedexcitedly when he got out of his chair and started to dance and twirl around.“Hmm… yes Mr.… I-I mean Dad! I actually came here because… well becauseI remembered something today” I said.He freezes. “What is it” then he sat back down on his chair.“I know how you took me in Forks Academy; I know how I first met Hugh and I

know how I survived all these years” I continued.He looked at me and made this worried look.“Please… Dad… please tell me the truth and don’t act like you don’t knowwhat I’m talking about because I know you do, you were my mom’s bestfriend. You were her only friend in this Academy no one else and I know youloved her; except mother loved dad more” I continued when I lost myself.I nearly cried too, but I looked away and stopped that.He got out of his chair and walked over at the window, he looked outside andI think he was staring Victorian town. “Yes, I did take you in without knowingabout your identity, I took you in because I your mother told me once to takecare of you. And I did love your mother so much but she loved someoneelse…”

“But I don’t get anything… these dreams… well not really dreams thesenightmares I get about my parents, I’ve never had these dreams before.” Isaid.“The nightmares you are getting are just memories from your past.” hereplied.I left Mr. Forks office and I didn’t say anything. Because I was a little upset.



“Tiffany… do you even… oh… she’s gone, oh she always does that every timewe start talking” I said hen I turned around and saw that Tiffany was gone.

I went straight to my room; I was just sitting there trying to remember a fewthings.“Miss Forks” I could hear Mrs. Kerry Mariah calling out my name outside my

room.No one really likes Mrs. Mariah at this school; well I think it’s just mean.I opened my door, she was there standing right in front of me. Staring at mewith her creepy—brown eyes into my green eyes. Her glasses were sort of making her eyes a little big, but not too big. And she had her hair up in aswirly bow. And was wearing normal teachers clothes, and she was holdingher clipboard like always.“Yes Mrs. Mariah”“There is a new student here and I want you to show him around theAcademy and also let him talk to your Father” she said as she was looking atthe list of the new students.“Hmm what’s he’s name?” I ask.

“Marko Kelpie Howling” she continued.‘Marko…’ after hearing that name I heard myself say that inside my head, butit sounded like I was only little then.“Wait Howling?” I asked when she nearly left.“Yes.” she nodded.“The new guy at this Academy is from another Guardian Academy?” Icontinued.“Isn’t that why we have a Guardian Academy at this school as well” she saidas she left.“Uh- yeah… that’s why” I said.I never really thought that we’d actually have another Guardian student atthis Academy; it’s been a while since a Guardian has come here. Not many

people have come to this Academy for ages.

“Hey, you’re going to work?” Donna said when she came out of no where.“Yeah” I replied.“So who’s the lucky guy that’s going to walk around with the famous FirePrincess?” Donna continued.“Oh I don’t know; all I know is he’s name is Marko Kelpie Howling” I said aswe where both still walking together When we were on our way to the mistclass where all the new students stay for me to show them around.“Wait from the Guardian Academy?” Donna asked, when she asked the samething I asked Mrs. Mariah.“Yeah” I said as I looked at her and looked back as we nearly got closer to themist class.

I was wondering what Marko would look like and be like; I mean all Guardians’are always handsome and strong.“Okay, well I’m here, you should get going; you do have Math’s right?” I saidwhen we both stopped in front of the mist door.“Oh yes thanks for reminding me, if I get there late Mr. Morph will be yellingat me like last time” she said before she left.



“Okay then lets go in” I stopped him, I stopped him from getting in too quick,I grabbed he’s shirt from behind, looking down and didn’t want him to see meas I’m going to talk to him.“Thank you” I said when my hands was shaking while I was still holding hisshirt.“Huh!” he said standing there and just looking straight at the door.

“Thanks for what you did earlier” I said sadly.“What are you saying?” he asked when he looked after breathing.“You’re the second person that had sticked up for me, Hugh had done it along time; and you’re the second one. I never actually thought that someoneelse would stick up for me, no other guys had done that; just Hugh” Icontinued.I was too afraid to face him, but by the time we get in I might. It hasn’t beena while since someone stood up for me and Marko is the second. Standingthere with him while I grabbed he’s shirt was an awkward thing; no one wasaround, just me and him.“Why are you crying?” he ask when he heard me sobbing behind him.“I’m sorry, I got carried away, and anyway we should go now!” I said as I

wiped my tears off my face quickly so he could not see the sadness in me.As he knocked the door and Mr. Forks told us to come in I was still behindMarko, I still had tears on my cheeks and eyes, they wouldn’t go away, as if like they where stuck.“Oh you’ve come” Mr. Forks said when he first saw Marko.“Um Mr. I mean Dad…” I had to say that every time I see him, but it’s reallyhard; because seeing him all the time its hard for me to remember such wordlikes ‘Dad’. Because I usually call him Mr. Forks or sometimes Richard, butmostly Mr. Forks. Mr. Forks is a great loyal man who does whatever it takes tokeep every academy safe, and for keeping me safe.Mr. Forks has a shaggy brown short hair, and he wears a black suite with ablack long jacket when he goes outside. But sometimes he goes normally.

“Yes did you hear that? She called me Dad! Of course I never hear her sayFather but Dad is so much better…” he just kept on talking about how proudhe is of me calling him Dad.While Mr. Forks was jumping around and proudly proud of me, Marko and Iwere just watching him. We were standing right next to each other, but notthat close.“So why were you crying?” Marko asks as we were still watching Mr. Forks.I was sight; my troth felt like it was dry mud, like a dead Earth.“Uh- well, he, he, he, it was nothing really… there was just something in myeyes that I couldn’t get out; seriously it was nothing… there was nothing toworry about” I said when I faced him waving my hands saying lies to a newguy at this Academy and also fake smiling and laughing.I laughed. “Really it’s nothing….” I continued, but he just stared at me like Ihe was looking at a door mat.“Uh- Mr. For- I mean Dad… Dad… DAD!” I shouted out three times calling outhe’s name so he could have our attention.“Oh yes… yes dear” he said when he quickly sat on he’s chair.“I would like you to meet our new student from the Guardian Academy…Marko Kelpie Howling, oh and Marko this is Mr. Richard Forks” I said trying toget them to get along.



They seem to look at each other for a while, until Mr. Forks said something.“Uh- Tiffany” Mr. Forks said.“Yes” I said.“Can I have a quiet time with Mr. Howling please” he said as he lookedserious staring at Marko.“Oh okay no problem, fine” I said as I walked out the door standing there

waiting for them to have an alone conversation.After Tiffany left, Richard sat back on his seat right in front of me with thetable also there.“Why have you come here, Marko?” he asked curiously with both of his handson the table.I looked at him with no emotional. “I came for what I was supposed to do tenyears ago, Richard!” I replied.“Ah, yes, protect Tiffany from any danger.” He said.I nodded, “you know I’m her lost guardian Richard. Why haven’t you told heryet?” I asked.He stood out of his seat, and stood right at his window looking outside.“I’ve agreed with her parents that I’d tell her when she was about eighteen.”

He replied.I made this frowned angry look. “Do you have any idea how she wouldreact?” I asked.“I do, but she’s sixteen, isn’t that a bit too early?” he asked.I shook my head, “no, she’s a teenager, she should’ve have known abouteverything when she was fifteen.” I continued.He took a big sigh, “how are you, Marko?” he asked changing the subject.I looked down angrily, “I’m great!” I replied.“How’s your mother and brother?” he continued.“Their fine!” I replied back.“How are you doing with your father gone?” he asked continually.I was shocked, “I’m fine! I have no problem from him being dead for the past

eight years.” I replied again.He turned around and walked towards me. He stopped at my left side andpatted my shoulder. “He was a great guardian, and a great father forprotecting your family since you were born.” He said.

It’s been nearly half and hour since they’ve been talking in there, and I’vebeen sitting on the wooden brown floor at that full half an hour.“Hmm- Tiffany?” a familiar husky voice called out.I looked up at that person standing right in front of me. It was Hugh.“Hugh, um, I was just waiting for the… um—“I said standing up when I wasstruggling to talk to him.I paused after I nearly said something. He walked closer to me and made mebump into the door behind. He got my pointy chin with his right soft silkyhand. He lifted my head up; we were staring at each other’s eyes. He wasstaring at my ash green eyes, and I was staring at him grey eagle lookingeyes.“Um- Hugh” I murmured.Standing there right in front of the door might get us in to trouble, but Hughwas slowly moving he’s face closer to mine. As he moved closer, his lips just touched mine.



“You’re like a flower, princess” Hugh said when he’s lips just stayed andtouched mine.“What do you mean?” I asked, I couldn’t really talk properly because of Hugh’s lips is like stuck into mine.“You’re like a flower that blossoms everyday, beautiful and powerful” hecontinued when he looked down for a while.

“But… Hugh I” I paused.“But not only that, you’re a fire princess that was nearly killed, if you werekilled then I wouldn’t of have met you” he continued.I was about to say something then, except I couldn’t escape from he’s lipsthat’s near touching mine.Someone then opened the door behind me. Once that person opened thedoor, I nearly fell backwards; but Hugh caught me by my waist.Hugh and I both looked at the person behind. It was Mr. Forks.“Hugh!” Mr. Forks said surprised to see him.“Oh Mr. I mean Richard… no I mean Dad, your finish talking” I saidshockingly.“Mr. Forks I was just talking to Tiffany” Hugh said when his right arm was still

around my waist.“And who is he?” Hugh asked spotting Marko behind Mr. Forks.Mr. Forks turned around. “Oh- this is Marko, Hugh, meet Marko, Marko meetHugh” Mr. Forks said. The two of this guys seemed like they hate each otherby the look of their faces and by the way they shook hands seemed like theyreally hated each other.“Um- okay guys, I think that enough shaking, um shall we Marko” I said as Ibroke them up and trying to show Marko around the Academy continually.

Chapter 3:A kiss from an Enemy

‘You’re like a flower that blossoms everyday princess.’ I was thinking aboutwhat Hugh said today, I wonder what he meant; I don’t think of my self like aFlower that Blossoms everyday. I think of my self like a Princess is fallingapart about my past. I was also thinking about how Hugh first met Marko andhow Marko first met Hugh. It’s strange I thought that they would be goodmates or something, I guess not.“Oh I’m sorry” I said to the person I bump into.“Marko?” I said when I looked up and noticed that it was him, and it looks likehe just got out of the shower. And that’s the kind of place I was about to goto.“Why are you still awake? It’s late” he sounded like Sophie every time I seeher at night.

“Who do you think you are?” I said when I was pointing my finger at himwhen I got pissed.He looked kind of mad when he stared at me, maybe I shouldn’t have donethe finger bit; or the yelling and angry bit.“Oh- uh he, he, um of course I’m still awake, duh! Stupid! I’m a guardian atmorning and night and I was about to go to the shower” I said when Ichanged the subject about our angry conversation.“Right” he said when he just walked away past me when the



“Um wait!” I said when he looked back with he’s towel around he’s shoulderand has no top on but just pants. I was gonna say something, but I didn’tknow what.“How- how was the shower?” oh, my god, great Tiffany, your so stupid, ‘howwas the shower? How was the shower? What a stupid dumb question.Me saying that to him he looked kind of surprised, like a shocked person

wondering why a girl would be asking a guy how was the shower, stupid.“Good night Tiffany!” he said when he got embarrassed.I knew he was it would of made him pissed and embarrassed when I saidthat, I mean, I didn’t mean to say that, it like came out of my mouth.“Sorry, that wasn’t supposed to come out, I was suppose to say something

else” I yelled across the hallway.

So after the shower I got dressed and got my Sword ready and my self readyto watch over the Academy again.“Another day of work and now another night of watching over the Academy,exhausting but I really love my job” I said talking to my self when no one wasaround.

The wind is blowing really nice tonight, flowers going to sleep, birds restingon their nest. And I am here out side of my dorm watching over ForksAcademy. Sometimes I guard the Guardian Academy, or the WarriorAcademy. I think tomorrow I’m guarding the Guardian or the WarriorAcademy… I don’t know.It seemed like the Academy would be a fine night tonight, no demons around,no bad guys what’s so ever.“That was an interesting thing you said back there” a voice came behind myear.When I heard this person talked behind my ears I was ready ‘Fire Haze’ Iwhispered in my head.“Who’s there?” I said as I lighted up.

“Hmm- as I said that was an interesting thing you said back there with yourboyfriend kitty cat” I couldn’t see him; it was like he was invisible.“Who are you calling kitty cat… you dog” I said yelling out; I tried not to betoo loud so no one could hear me, especially Hugh. Every time I try to protectthis Academy he ends up finishing it for me, he says that he doesn’t want megetting hurt when it’s my duty to do my own job instead of him doing it forme.“Ohh a little bit angry tonight I see” I could still hear him, except I stillcouldn’t see him. It’s like he’s behind me and then the next he’s in front of me and then he’s above me.“Who are you and how did you know about that?” I ask as I tried to spot himwhere ever he is.“Hmm- well lets see, you can call me James- James Claw” he said as heshowed himself in front of me.“Who—“I paused. Something was touching my lips with something cold andnot hot. ‘EW… he kissed me… he kissed me!’ I said Shockley in my head.My face was red, my body was filling up like fire, and my hands were shaking,like it never had been shaken before.“Hmm- cute and powerful, and soft lips by the way” he said when he wasstanding in front of me with he’s hands cross like I liked his kiss.



“What are you talking about? You kissed me!” I said when I uncovered mymouth.“Hmm… sounds like you liked it, huh kitty cat” he keeps on calling me that,I’m not he’s little cat, I’m nothing to him, I just met this guy.“So you’re the fire princess?” he continued.Since I was a child and moved to Forks Academy I always wondered why

everyone knew me, Mr. Forks had introduced me to a lot of people that Ididn’t know, but they knew me, except I didn’t knew them. Mr. Forks alwaystells me that I was special and lucky; lucky because I nearly got killed, but Ithought to myself ‘no’, I’m not this person who was lucky, I’ve lost myparents, I’ve lost everything about my life.“It’s Fire Haze actually” Fire Haze, another nickname that I made up myself afew years ago.“Fire Haze huh! Cute name” he said.When will this guy stop? When will he stop playing around with me? I didn’twant to make a move because it seems like he knows something about me.“Well what do you call your self? The Prince of Dorks?” my body was feeling alittle weak, my left leg was on the ground as I had stood my sword upside

down so I could try to get up.He laughed. “Your funny as well, but not actually” what did he meant forthat? And what’s so funny? I don’t get this guy, he’s a freak.“Don’t you remember me little kitty cat? We have actually met before” whatis he talking about? I never have met him before.‘Scary… scary demons wants to kill me… I’m afraid… scared.’ For somereason the voice of me when I was a little kid echoed and talked inside myhead.I still couldn’t stand up, my body was weak, and my powers were slowlygoing away, what’s happening to me? Each time I see someone my memoriesare coming back.“Ahh- what’s wrong with me!” I yelled out when I drop my sword and held my

head with both of my hands.“Hmm- feel that feeling you’re getting? Its means you’re starting toremember a few things kitty cat” he said.“I don’t get it? I don’t get anything” my head… it was like a frozen ice thatkills.‘Kitty cat! Want to play with me?’ and for some reason I heard someoneelse’s voice.

These strange voices that I’m getting inside my head it’s making me feelunconscious dizzy and everything is starting to look blurry again.“No! No! NO!” as I yelled everyone seemed to hear me, everyone came out

of their Dormitory room, and so did Mr. Forks, Hugh and Marko.“Catch you later kitty cat” James said as he disappeared like the wind.“Tiffany…” I could hear Hugh calling out my name, I could hear my friendsrunning towards me and also calling out my name.What’s happening to me? Why am I feeling like this? It’s strange because Ihave never felt like this before.“Tiffany… hold on… it’s gonna be okay” Hugh said as he had me around he’sarms while I still had my hands covering up my hand.“No! I don’t understand…” I was crying and yelling everyone could see me.“What’s happening to her Hugh?” Emily said as I could hear her tearing up.



“She’s starting to remember a little about her past… ” I heard what Hugh hadsaid to Emily and the others.“She’ll be fine” I could hear echo’s from everyone’s voices, my eyes wereclosing, my tears was slowly going down from eye to chin.

“ Kitty cat… come play with me” I could hear James’s voice in my head,

except why? Did I know him from my past and I didn’t know about it?“ Okay James” as I was hearing and seeing these things in my head I couldhalf see my parents looking out for me, except I couldn’t see their facesagain; and someone was next to them. I didn’t know who he was.

I was finally waking up from my nightmares; away from them is the betterway for me to feel better.“You’re finally awake” Marko was the one who was looking after me all thistime? I thought it was Hugh.“Marko, where’s Hugh? I mean what- what happened to me?” I didn’t want totalk about Hugh in front of Marko; I know he would just call him and think thatI always think about Hugh.

“Hmm- well you just fainted and… I’ll get Hugh for you” when Marko talkedhe seemed a little angry.“No wait Marko…” I called out he’s name while I grab a hold of he’s left handwhen I was up crying behind his back again.“Stay here, don’t leave…” I cried.“I’ve been lonely and afraid ever since I was a kid… that’s why sometimes Iwant Hugh with me because he was the only one who protected me all theseyears, and his the one who stood up for me and no one has ever done that” Icried continually.My hands were shaking and there were tears dripping on the blanket when Iscrunched it with my right hand.I wiped my tears, “I’m sorry, I’ve never cried in front of anyone before except

Mr. Forks.” I continued.“It’s okay” Marko whispered. “It’s okay to be afraid and lonely in front of someone. At least you’re showing your true feelings about your life. It’s justthe same thing as showing your feelings when your—in love.” He continued.After hearing that from him I saw a quick flash of something bloody. And thesame thing in my head was happening again like yesterday.I held my head with both of my hands, and my body was fully on shaking…badly, like I’ve never been so scared before.‘No…there’s blood everywhere… there’s scary demons around the house…no… no…’ I could hear my little young voice talking inside my head. Exceptwhat did I mean?My head really hurts so much; I was still holding my head with both of myhands, and I was shaking from remembering. While I could hear my littleyoung voice from when I was little, there was a flash that kept on going onand off. I don’t know what it was… because there was blood everywhere. Iwas in a room, with no windows but a door right in front of me. I didn’t knowwhere I was, but it looked like I was alone and scared, and I could see bloodeverywhere in the room… in the ceiling, wall, floor and everything. Even onmy own hands.



Chapter 4:Howl Howling & Memories

Everything that happened the other night and yesterday morning wasnothing but just scary memories about my past. Just I said every time I seedifferent people that I have never seen before I start getting memories, but

sometimes bad memories.“Hey Tiffany, how was work the other night?” Sophie asked when her and herother friends laughed at me afterwards. Popularity, what’s so importantabout them? I don’t get it, Sophie and her friends are just a bunch of bullieswho gets in everyone’s way especially me. And always, thinks that I’m takingover the entire hotties of the guardian academy, example Hugh; then before,Marko. I think that’s stupid!

As Sophie was trying to annoy about what happened I ran straight to mydormitory room, I just thought that I could just think about something elseinstead about my memories. Whoever I ran into like my friends Hugh, Markoand Mr. Forks; I just ignored them and tried not to talk to anyone for a bit so I

could think.“Hey Tiffany” Maddie and the other’s said as I ran past them.“Tiffany” Hugh said.“Hmm- princess” Mr. Forks called out.“Tiffany where’re you going” Marko asked as he spotted me as well.I stopped when I ran about five feet away from him I turned around. “I’msorry Marko” I apologized.“Safe! I finally made it” I was very exhausted from running down and uphere.It was a great day for me to do half of my job but I wasn’t really feeling it. I

just thought that I’d stay in my room for a while till I feel a little better beforeit gets dark.

‘Tiffany, sweetheart, this young man will be your Guardian for the rest of your life.’ I could hear my mother’s voice talking inside my head. And I had alittle flashback of her introducing me to another kid from when I was a kid.‘Mother will you please tell me what’s going on?’ also I remembered aboutmy dream.‘Everything will be okay in the morning my little Princess.’ ‘I’m so proud of you, Tiffany!’ ‘Remember who you are’ Ever since I was five years old I started to remember a few things about whathappened. But, ever since I was thirteen; it stopped. So now I’m sixteen. I’vestarted to remember everything from the start again. When I dreamt aboutmy parents wanting to hide me from something evil; I’ve dreamt about that

since I was five. And it hurts… it’s like a nightmare.

“Hello! Miss. Forks are you in here?” Mrs. Mariah said when she knocked atmy door.“Uh yes what is it?” I said waking out of my memories.“Do you have time to work today?” she asked continually.I got out of bed and walked toward the door, once I opened it she wasstanding looking the same as everyday.“Yeah” I replied. “So who’s the person?” I asked continually.



“A Mr. Howling” she replied checking her list as she puts on her readingglasses.“Wait! Howling, so what is he like Marko’s brother or something?!” I asked.“Twin brother actually but he looks nothing like Marko his sort of… different”she replied.I nodded. “What’s his full name then?” I asked courtly.

“His name is Howl Howling” she said as she went through the check list.“Oh, wow, okay then well… I better go and meet him!” I said shutting thedoor.She nodded and then walked away saying nothing else. After she left I juststood there for a little bit, staring at the floor. And for some reason, I had aquick flash of a person with red eyes. That frightened me, after I saw that Iwalked away quickly.

It was nearly dark so I had to run downstairs and go straight to the Mist Classor else Mrs. Mariah will give me detention.“Made it” I said all puffed up when I came in the room.When I came in the room, Howl was leaning on the teachers table in front of

me. I was walking up to him, when he looked at me he had these gorgeousblue eyes; and he has light brown hair. Mrs. Mariah was right, he looksnothing like Marko, but they both have the same charms. And Howl isyounger than Marko; he looks like about the same age as me.“Hi” I said smiling at him. “How Howling right?” I asked.He stood up properly, “nice to meet you, Miss. Forks.” He said politely withhis hand out.I shake my hand with his; they were warm, well of course because his hadthem inside his pockets.“So, your Marko’s twin brother right?” I asked continually.He nodded, “yeah, thank god I look nothing like him.” he replied when hechuckled at the same time.

“So, how old are you?” I asked.He looked straight at me with those eyes of he’s. “Sixteen.” He replied as Iknew it.I nodded. “What about you? You’re not exactly what I expected.” He said.I moved my hair out of the way. “Oh, what did you thought about me?” Iasked.“I thought you would be a white girl.” He replied.I hummed. “So… you don’t like brown people? Cause I can order a white girlto show you around the Academy if you want!” I said rudely.“No, no, that’s fine, you’re…” he paused when he stopped me by holding myright hand.He kept saying ‘you’re’ when he was staring at me still holding my hand. “I’mwhat?” I asked.He let go of me, “perfect.” He whispered.I was shocked to hear that even though he whispered it. “Well… we betterget out of here then. It’s getting late so…” I said leading him out to the door.

It looked like it was nine o’clock at night. I’ve showed Howl around everyAcademy after we left the mist class.



“Is that your normal eye color?” he asked when we were heading back toForks Academy.I looked over to him and then back away. “Yeah.” I replied.“Ash green suites you, I’ve never seen a brown girl that’s got ash greeneyes.” He said sounding like he was meaning it.“Thanks.” I whispered.

Howl and I finally got back to Forks Academy, he and I went straight to Mr.Fork’s office. He didn’t seem nervous when I told him though.“Well, we’re here!” I said as we both stood up in front of Mr. Fork’s office.“So, Mr. Forks huh?” he asked.“Yeah!” I whispered nodding.Howl and I were just standing there for quiet a little while. We were juststaring at each other.“Well, I better go then.” I said.“Wait!” he said stopping me by holding my right wrist.I looked back at him. “You’re not coming?” he asked.“No, I have to get going and patrol the Guardian Academy tonight.” I replied.He then let go, “at this late hour?” he asked continually.

I nodded. “But… don’t worry… I’ll see you tomorrow okay?” I said waving athim before I left.

I guard the guardian academy, and that’s the only thing I do right now. Theword ‘patrol’ I don’t do that yet. Mr. Forks hasn’t let me do it yet. I’ve alwaysbeen interested on doing patrolling, I mean it’s kind of like guarding but it’sboth, guarding in the morning and night. And, you sometimes get to get outof class when it’s a really boring day like pop quizzes or something; which Idon’t like to do.I had to go back to the guardian academy, because I have to guard. Today Idon’t have my sword, I’ve got my Artemis. My Artemis is different from otherArtemis; I have this little thing that holds it when I attach it around my right

leg under my skirt. And if I get it out, it turns out like a long stick… but metal.And it’s got like swirls or something.It’s kind of cold tonight, but hot at the same time because its summer and it’sthe start of the year.So, I was up at the guardian roof, where I always watch the academy at night.“Thanks for guarding tonight.” A husky voice said.I looked over to my right and saw Hugh walking up the stairs and on top of the roof with me. The way he was walking towards me, he was smiling at thesame time. He was wearing a white plain t-shirt, and the collar has like ablack line around it and it was a big round hole. And what goes with it, he waswearing black pants and same goes with the shoes, I think he looked good; Ialways do.I was surprised to see him up on the roof with me at the first time.“Good evening, Hugh.” I said nervously.“Why so nervous? Are you shy of always seeing me?” he asked standing rightclose to me.“N-no, who says I’m nervous or shy?” I asked looking away.“Of how your acting.” He said.“I met that new kid called Howl Howling earlier.” He said staring down at mewhen I can see him form the corner of my right eye.



I looked at him continually. “Really, so Mr. Forks putted him here in theguardian academy? That’s great, just like how Marko’s—“I paused.“I don’t want you going near them, Tiffany!” Hugh said when he interrupted.I was shocked, “why?” I asked.“Because, they seem dangerous, and I don’t like them!” he continued.“W-well their not dangerous to me… and I like them, their very nice” I replied

kind of angry.Hugh then pulled me forward near his chest and hugged me tightly. Becausehis so tall and a year older than me, I’m sort; so his kind of holding my head.I had my eyes open, and I think he has his too. “I’ll protect you form anythingaround this place Tiffany. Because wherever you go, there’s always dangeraround.” He whispered.“I… I know you’re trying to protect me from danger. And I appreciate that… Ithank you for that but… I’ve already got a protection for myself. I havestrength; I have my sword and Artemis, isn’t that enough?” I replied as Iwhispered also.“Tiffany, I’d do anything, to keep you safe and alive no matter what! Youknow that.” He whispered continually.

I closed my eyes, “I know.” I murmured.

Chapter 5:Alone with Marko

Ten years ago I was saved by Hugh by something scary, something with redeyes and white sharp teeth’s. On that one snowy night back in England wasthe only thing I could always remember. Especially, I hear my mother’s voice,my voice also. And now my recollection is starting again… not from when itleft… but from the start again.I have a day off today, of course I’ve got class but I didn’t feel like it. Before I

got outside the Academy, I asked Mr. Forks if I could have a full brake today,and he let me. The clothes I was wearing brown wool coat jacket costumewith a splendid thermal crewneck light blue. And my pants were a low riseboot cut jeans, and converses for shoes; also I was wearing a green kangarooHenley bracelet. So what, I respect the god? Who cares?“Oh- I’m so- sorry….” I apologized when I bumped into someone tall andmuscular.I looked up at the person, and that person looked down at me; and it wasMarko, and we were both surprised to see him.“Tiffany!” he said surprised.“Marko, what are you doing in a middle of a period?” I asked also surprised tosee him.

“I was about to ask the same thing.” He said.“W-well… I was just heading down town, I’m off duty today and Mr. Forks saidthat I could take a brake for the whole day today.” I replied.“Isn’t he nice.” He said walking pass me.I turned around, “wait!” I called out.He turned around, “would you like to come?” I asked courtly.He tilted his head and looked like he was thinking. After he hummed, “no.” hesaid.



He turned back around and continued to walk. I ran up to him, and thenstopped in front.“I’m not taking ‘no’ for an answer.” I said trying to be angry again.He stared at me looking like it scared him of seeing me trying to be angry.He was thinking again. “Come on, we can talk about each other, knowingabout our likes and dislikes. Come on!” I continued begging.

He sighs, “fine!” he murmured.I smiled, and after that Marko and I both walked towards the front gate.“Why every academy is in the middle of the woods up here on themountains?” he asked when we were nearly at the gate.I looked at him, and then back towards where I’m walking. “I don’t know, butI think it’s peaceful. And the good thing is there are no dangerous animalsaround the place. I mean we even have a lake, but it’s not a dangerous onethough.” I replied sounding like it didn’t made sense.He murmured with a hummed at the same time. He then looked down at me,“interesting clothes your wearing.” He said sounding like he hates it.I stopped, and when he noticed he stopped in front of me and turned around.“Are you saying you hate what I wear?” I asked angrily.

“No, it’s a great thing because you don’t dress up like a girly girl. Well- youknow what I mean.” He replied.“Huh, well, thanks. And yes I’m not much of a girly girl… just… you knowhalf.” I said when we both continued to walk.

Marko and I just took a stroll down in Victorian town. I usually just call it townbecause it’s much easier.“Do you have a mom, Marko?” I asked.“Yeah.” He replied whispery as he looked straight only.I looked at him when we were walking, and then looked away. “What’s hername?” I asked continually.“Marybeth.” He replied continually.

I nodded, “what about your dad, what’s his name?” I asked again.He seemed stunned for me asking that. And the way he looked, he seemedannoyed.“I’m sorry.” I apologized.“No, you shouldn’t.” he whispered.We both stopped right in the middle of everyone. “What?” I murmured.“My father, died when I was eight years old, he got killed by human demonsand he protected my family; I tried helping him but he refused and didn’twant me to get hurt. He fighted and fighted until he had no strength left,there were too many human demons around the house and they all gangedup on him; they fighted for a little long time, and I really wanted to him sobadly. After that fight my father burst into white dust and all that was left washe’s clothes. After that fight, I fighted the human demons; but when I tried tofight them, they disappeared. It was like they only needed to kill my fatherinstead of all of us. That memory is a tragic memory for me; my father waslike a legend. The famous no. one guardian of all.” He said with so muchsadness in his voice.After hearing that, I also thought about my memory. I looked down upset.“I never knew my parents after my memories were erased, all I couldremember and see are blood and just—bad memories about them. Mr. Forks



said that it was the best thing to do for them to hide me from danger. It wastheir plan he said, Mr. Forks didn’t agree with that, but he had nothing to do.And sometimes I see… a guy… or someone with weird looking eyes. The colorwas odd, at his right side it was light blue; and the other- dark red. Butsuddenly that dark red turns into bright red, and then there’s white sharppointy teeth’s protruding from the mouth. Now that kind of thing scares me

every time I see that. But it gets out of my mind, but comes back again. Somy life is worse than yours. I never knew my parents, my memory waserased, and I have to face things that I don’t want to face. That’s my life.” Isaid also with sadness and remembering the things I’ve seen about my past,especially the guy with the weird colored eyes.I was looking down, all upset talking about that. It’s my thing, every time Italk about this, or thinks about it myself… I get so upset, and sometimesangry at myself. Thinking of why they had to save me and hide me fromdanger. Why didn’t we just die together? Mr. Forks said that it wasn’t myparents who the demons wanted—they wanted me for particularly reason.When I looked up, Marko didn’t say anything. He just stood there staringdown at me with no emotions but a straight looking face. I wasn’t

concentrating—I was kind of staring deep into his weird colored eyes. I mean,who has pitched black eyes with a white dot in the middle, however, it suitesMarko… a lot.

I had a great time heading down town with Marko, him and me just had lunchand talked. It kind of bored him because he didn’t really have much to say,but I had fun. Not only we had lunch but we kind of staid at a hotel called theRose Hotel. For some reason he wanted us both to stay there, I mean I evenfell asleep while we were there. Sometimes Marko would want to dosomething weird. After we came back, I went straight to Mr. Fork’s office; Iwanted to ask him something more about my past; just for a little while so Icould remember about something or someone else.

Once I got there and knocked the door, he never said anything. So when Icame in, he wasn’t there, the office was empty. I came in and shut the door; Iwalked over to his table, but looked outside the window first. That’s when Ispotted him outside the academy, and it looked like he was heading towardsthe guardian academy; but… what for?When I turned around, I saw his right drawer open. I sat on his chair andlooked inside, the things I saw was old photos. I got all of it out, and saw Mr.Forks smiling next to someone. And that person kind of looked like me; shehad brown skin like mine. But her hair was long and wavy.“Mom” I murmured noticing her.After I said that, I had a flash back of her, but a quick flash, like a blink of her.Looking at this picture it was the first time I’ve ever seen Mr. Forks very, veryhappy next to someone. Like he said before, he did love my mother andwanted her in his life forever. But then my real dad, he also loved my mom,and my mom loved him back. But my mom also loved Mr. Forks, as a friendonly. But still, he thinks I’m a spitting image of my mother, and he loves me

just like how I love him back. That’s what makes him happy, and how hisalways smiling every time I see him.“Tiffany?!” a familiar voice said on top of me.



I looked up and it was Hugh. I was surprised to see him right now, I mean, I just saw him yesterday… didn’t I?I quickly putted the pictures back in the drawer and acted cool. “Hugh,surprised to see you here… twice in two days.” I said.He then walked right towards the table and stopped right in front of me. Hestared down at me with his hands spread on the table, and I was staring up at

him.“What are you doing here?” he asked.I stood up, “Oh, um, I wanted to talk to Mr. Forks about something, but once Icame in here he wasn’t… here.” I replied sounding all confused.He hummed, “he just went to the guardian academy to check up some stuff.”He said.Hugh then walked around the table; he touched my right shoulder and sat meback down on the chair.“What?” I whispered.He crouched down, “are you okay, from what happened?” he asked.I nodded, “yeah.” I whispered continually.He then moved his head forward and kissed me on the left cheek, I had my

eyes open and I was amazed.I chuckled silently, “what was that for?” I asked.“A ‘thank god’ kiss that your fine about what happened.” He replied.“Oh.” I murmured.

It was that next day; all I’ve got to do is guard forks academy for an hour,which is not a pretty bad thing. I didn’t change into my school uniformbecause I’m not working for the whole day, so I got changed into normalclothes. I wore a daffy duck ‘play bunny’ shirt by junk food with dickies girllow rider work pants colored black, and I wore white converse. Of course I’vestill got my diamond necklace with letters on them that stand for ForksGuardian; so it would be FG. It’s pretty cool I think, because around it it’s got

like vines with thorns.It’s pretty quiet today; I’m just sitting on the balcony roof listening to nothingbut the sound of the wind and the crows croaking. Kind of boring but it’sokay, once you get use to a job like this.When I was sitting there all alone, I felt a strong wind pass me, and it felt likethat wind stopped right behind me.I turned around, slowly but not too slow. “Good morning, Miss Shana.” Astranger said.

There was a guy, standing right behind me with a leather jacket with a whitet-shirt and black pants with matching shoes.I got my Artemis out and pointed it at him. “Who are you and what are youdoing here?” I asked angrily.He looked at his nails, and then stopped and looked at me. Suddenly his shortnails turned into long sharp nails. He tried slicing me with it but I dodged it,but it made a scratch on my left shoulder. Good thing my sleeve is short andnot long.When he did that I stood on top of the balcony continually pointing myArtemis at him.I looked at my scratch and then back at that creep. “You scratch me.” I saidangrily.



He laughed with his eyes closed, and once he opened them, they turnedbright yellow.After he tried attacking me again, this must be a human demon, but itdoesn’t act like a human demon, why is there only two fangs protruding fromhis creep’s mouth?

The only weapon this demon has got is his sharp nails.

He then once scratched me again, but under my neck this time.He kept on chuckling like this is some kind of a game. “Your blood… smells sogood!!” he growled trying to attack me again.

The many he tries to slice me in half with that sharp long nails, the manytimes I dodge it. It wasn’t easy, because he was a little fast.After a few fights he scratched me again, and this time it was on my left sideof the neck. The stranger was standing in front of me, and suddenlysomething went through his stomach. It looked like a hand. After that creepburst into brown dust and squealed at the same time.It was Hugh, and it was his right hand that he used to stab through that creepthat just burst into dust.I dropped my Artemis and kneeled down because I was so tired. Hugh walked

up to me, he also kneeled down. I kept on breathing and breathing.“Are you okay?” he asked.I looked at him and smiled. “Yeah, I’m fine. Ah, thanks for killing that demon.”I said and thanked after.He looked back, and the only thing that was left was its clothes, and the dustflew away with the wind.“Yeah, your welcome.” He replied. “Come on.” He continued trying to helpme up.I nodded and picked up my Artemis and we both walked back down.“You know, that demon didn’t act like a human demon.” I said.He seemed stunned after I said that. “What are you talking about?” he asked.“W-well that demon said that… my blood smelt good. Why is that?” I said

continually.He didn’t reply; he just had me around his right arm while we were walkinginside and towards the first aid room.

Hugh putted all the bandages on me when we both got to the first aid room.While he was doing that I just kept on staring at him, realizing of how…beautiful he is.“What?” he said putting everything back in the kit.I shook my head a little when he kind of woke me up from staring at him.“What’s what?” I said.He finished packing, after he looked at me as he sits there on the chair andI’m sitting on the bed.“You kept on staring at Me.” he continued.“Oh, um…” I paused.Saved by someone who just walked in the room with us, and that person wasMr. Forks.“Oh god, thank god your okay Tiffany.” He asked sitting on the bed with me.“Uh yeah, I’m fine thanks for asking. Um, how did you know I was here?” Iasked.“Hugh told me.” he replied.



I just remembered that Hugh went over to Mr. Fork’s office when I waited inthe first aid room before he came in with me.I just nodded. And then he took a sigh. “Hugh, could I talk to you for amoment?” he asked.“Yes.” Hugh murmured.I watched both of them walk out of the room. I wonder what’s Mr. Forks is

going to tell Hugh?

“What happened?” Mr. Forks asked when we kind of whispered in front of thefirst aid room.“She got attack by a vampire.” I replied.He sighs and looked at his right side, “well okay, she’ll be fine. The goodthing is that she doesn’t believe in them and thinks that their only legendsand myths, right?” he said.I nodded, “but what if she meets… him?” I asked.“Hugh, you should know better. Edward… his Tiffany’s long lost savior tenyears ago.” He replied.“But—“I whispered.

“I know you love Tiffany and I know you want to protect her from everything.But, Edward, he wants to do more with her.” he continued as he interrupts.I took a big sigh, “I just don’t want to see her in that form. What if she turnsinto a vampire E?” I asked.“She wont, the Blake family is the most powerful vampire’s in the world. Theyhave something in their blood that doesn’t make a human turn into a vampireE.” he said continually.“But how’s that possible?” I asked continually.“No one knows.” He replied.“When is he coming?” I asked.“In three or four days, I don’t know but we just have to wait. I mean, I mightfind him in a place somewhere town. I just sense it.” He replied continually.

“What were you guys talking about?” I asked when they both came back in.“Oh, nothing, I just ordered Hugh to do something for me that’s all.” Mr. Forkssaid continually sitting next to me.“Oh.” I whispered nodding.Mr. Forks then made a frown staring at me. “What?” I asked.“What-what are you wearing?” he asked.“What?!” I said continually.“Your more of a girl wearing those kinds of clothes, you look like a boy?!” hesaid continually.He and I were arguing, and Hugh just seemed to listen, like always.“I do not look like a boy, what are you talking about?!” I replied angrily as wecontinued to argue.“Yeah but look at you, and who is that on your shirt?” he asked.“This is daffy duck, and his really funny.” I replied.

Chapter 6:Evan Blake



It was that next day, I got up and changed some normal clothes, it’s Saturdaytoday and it seems like a pretty nice day. The weather is in between, hot andcold, and windy at the same time. I wore a night ranger "7 wishes" vintagetee with Lucy brand Lola boot cut jean and just black converse like what Isometimes wear. I have my hair straightened like always. But there wassomething missing, the bracelet that I wore when I went down town with

Marko was gone. But then I realized that I must’ve dropped it somewhereback at the hotel; after realizing that I quickly ran out of my room and quicklygo to the hotel to get my bracelet.

I ran all the way from the academy to get my bracelet from a hotel I stayedin. Finally I got there. I was all puffed once I got in because I’ve been runningall the way. When I got in the hotel I walked toward the counter. When Iwalked towards there, there was this man standing near the stairs, he lookedlike a servant or something, but he was in a black suit. When I got to thecounter, I looked at the lady’s name tag, and her name was Lucy Gale. Shelooked like a teenager, about the same age as me. She was chewing gumand was reading an OK magazine, and she was leaning on her hand as she

flicks through the page.“Hi um, Lucy, could I check a room please.” I said standing there.“What room is it?” she said sounding like she didn’t care.“Uh, twenty” I replied.She then got the keys out right at my face. “Here are the keys, so now leavebefore I change my mind about letting you check in” she said.I grabbed the keys, “thanks.” I said when before I turned around.When I was about to walk up the stairs, I walked pass the guy, I stared athim, but then after he stared back at me. The way he looked at me, it scaredme, after that I continually walked towards the stairs.

I was on the second floor where room twenty is, is was so much easier using

the elevator, you don’t have to walk all the way up but just stand there andlet the elevator take you. When I was here with Marko he wanted to take thestairs, he said it’s a good exercise. When I was on that floor I started to walkup to room twenty, it was just right in front of me straight ahead, and the lasttime I came here I had to take the right instead of just walking towards it.When I was at the door no one was really around that time, it was creepy butI think everyone was out.Once I came in the room I quickly looked for my bracelet, I looked under thebed, tablets and all that crap. But my bracelet was no where to be found,unless some of the cleaners found it yesterday? If they did, that would havebeen so bad.When I was about to walk out of the room I heard something, like someonewas in the room with me the whole time I’ve been searching for my bracelet.I looked quietly around the place, and no one was around; not under the bedor in the bathroom or anything.But the one thing I haven’t searched was the closet near the window; I slowlywalked towards it and had both of my hands reaching out for the knob. I wasshaking and couldn’t stop every time I get nervous or scared.



Once both of my hands got a hold of the handle I fully opened it… but no onewas in there. It was just an empty closet with nothing in it… “Strange” Imurmured.“I was just hearing things…I thought there would have been some kind of pervert in the closet…” I said leaving the closet open as I stand there talkingto myself.

Then the wind suddenly blew behind me; well behind the curtains frombehind. I slowly looked back once I heard a noise. There were these handscoming out to reach me.

There was a stranger in the room after all. And that stranger pushed me nextto him as he holds my mouth with his right hand and his left arm across mychest.‘What’s going on?’ I whispered scaredly. ‘Am I going to be killed?’ I whisperedcontinually.“Help me. I’m begging you, the man down stairs with the lady… he’s ahuman demon. Bad things will happen to you if you leave things as they are;

just like what happened to me” he whispered behind my left ear. The stranger then let go, after he let go, it was like I could still feel his warm

soft silky hands.I turned around. “Who are you?” I asked.‘Such beautiful ash mauve eyes’ I whispered when I first spotted his eyes.“I was captured and held captive by demons, there’s no time. I ask for yourtrust and co-operation” he asked nicely begging me to help him in some sortof danger.I didn’t really know what he meant of helping him; his white shirt is ruinedand ripped, his got a bruise on his right neck, and on his wrists; there wasrope marks and very red.“What will happen to you if you get captured again?” I asked.He was standing there quietly “I will be killed” he said in such a scary way.After he said that I was so shocked, and wondering why the demons want him

and kill him after they captured him.“I can’t leave here without passing in front of their room, in short, its perfect

setup for keeping you confined. Look at the door” he said continually as hebosses me.I made a frown; I quickly turned around and walked towards the door. When Iopened it a little bit and peeked outside, no one was around, so I fully openedthe door and looked at the corridor left to right; but still… no one was around.I shut the door and turned around. “So, how do we escape?” I asked.“Thank you. I’m glad that you believe me… pretty lady with sweet brown skinand a sweet straightened brown hair” he said gently as he kissed my rightcheek.“Hey, what are you doing?” I said pulling myself away.

So not only the stranger is kind but there is also bossiness in him, he told meto talk to the guy down stairs with the lady. Anyways I asked the lady at thecounter wondering where the guy was standing there earlier; she said that hewas in his room. So I walked upstairs where the room is. As I knocked heopened the door, he looked nothing like a human demon. “What is it?” heasked.



“I heard something in the room I was in…” I said pretending to look scaredand worried.“I think there’s someone in the closet…” I continued.“Hey, check the next room!” he yelled out inside the room.After he said that there were other guys in a black suit the same as him, theyall ran out of the room quickly after he had said that.

“There’s no doubt about it, it looks like his inside the closet” the way hespoke to the others inside that room with him sounded like they were reallyafter that brunette stranger in that room.“Miss, it might be a pervert. We’ll investigate” he said continually beforerunning with the others.“Come on, lets go” the brunette stranger said when he grabbed my handcoming out behind the other closet out at the corridor.He and I were running really fast, and when he grabbed me I still saw therope marks on his wrist, for some reason it scared me by looking at it. Iwonder what have they’ve done for torturing him.“Rather nasty of them to call me pervert, don’t you think?” he asked with asmile.

“Now isn’t the time to be talking about that!” I said puffing as we continue torun.“They’re escaping” a guy said with a suit as he spotted us both.“Not good…” I said.We were both going faster, and faster like his got some sort of speed grownin his body to make him run faster.“We’ll be fine” he replied looking back to me again and winked with a smile.

The human demon that spotted him and I grabbed my shoulder bag, I nearlytripped but the stranger got a hold of me then he attacked the humandemon. The demon turned into brown dust.I wasn’t really concentrating at the demon; I was sort of concentrating at thestranger and I was seeing glitters around him… in my imagination.

There was more demons coming after us, I dropped my shoulder bag and itwas lying there on the ground.“Hey wait my bag!” I said looking back when I was trying to reach it but wewere going too fast.“You can’t turn back now!” he said.When the stranger and I came out of the hotel, everyone in town was lookingat us both; but not only they were staring, we were bumping into them.

Finally… we got in this room that I didn’t even know where we were, it mightbe he’s own apartment or just a hotel room or something. ‘Where… did hetake me?’ I whispered looking around as I sat there in front of the door.I was so tired from running away from those demons, and it looked like thatstranger too. His just lying there on the red carpet puffing with his eyesclosed and arms spread out.I crawled up to him. “Hey, what’s going on?” I asked.When I saw him, he was sleeping, and continually on puffing.

‘Help me…I’m begging you…’ I was dreaming of what the guy said back atthe room.



After that dream it made me got up. I looked around the room and it lookeddifferent. It didn’t look like I was in the same room.Once I heard the bathroom door open the stranger came out scrubbing hishair with a white towel. But something was up, he looked different.“You’re pretty cute when you’re sleeping…” he said smiling as he stood thereand putting the towel down.

“Hey… your hair…” I said Shockley when I sat up on the couch I was sittingon.“Ah. The previous color was dyed, I stand out too much with my natural haircolor, and do you like it?” he replied smoothing his blonde hair back with asmile afterwards.“I’ve brought you a change of clothes, Milord” another guy said handing theother guy some tuxedo.

The other guy that said that he had the same color skin as me, but his hairwas black and layered and by the looks of it, it looks like his got greatmuscles; and he was also wearing a tuxedo.“Milord, those injuries” the black haired guy said as he noticed just like I did.“They’re just minor scratches…” the blonde one replied.

After the blonde one said that, the black haired one seemed angry.“Raven, there’s no need to kill anyone over such a trifling matter” the blondeone continued.“Raven” I murmured.“Yes” Raven whispered.‘What are those people? ‘Milord’ ‘no need to kill’ what does that mean?’ Iwhispered in my head as I watched them both.“Raven, this is Miss Forks” the blonde one said introducing me to Raven.I smiled. “But… wait how do you know my name?” I asked standing out of thecouch.“The name of the girl they were looking for is Tiffany Shana Forks, in otherwords; you. I’m sorry for not introducing myself earlier, Milady; I’m Evan

Blake how do you do?” he said smiling at me with those gorgeous mauveeyes.“Hmm well I have to go back to Forks Academy, I’ll be leaving now” I said.“It’s too late the ship has already set sail…” Evan said.After he said that I was so shocked and wondered what did he meant ship setsailed?I turned around and walked over to the window, once I looked outside, theship has already sailed. I had both of my hands on the window, and the shipdidn’t really look that far away, like Evan said… the ship just set sailed.“You planned on getting me on this ship all alone? Did you carry me here?Because the room we were in before it was an apartment.” I said angrily as Iturned around.“Wait, you play acted your capture? Didn’t you?” I continued.“That was real” he said looking at me angrily.“Anyway dinner will start without us if we don’t hurry, Raven please get MissForks prepared for the formal party.” He ordered.“Right away” Raven replied courtly.As raven walked pass me he completely looked at me, and so did I; but Ideeply looked into his eyes, and noticed that they were the same as mine,dark green.



“Uh hey wait, what dress?” I asked.“Mister… what’s going on?” I asked continually staring back at Evan.“You can’t ride on this ship without any invitation, so don’t worry; oh andalso, please call me Evan… Tiffany” he replied before he went back in thebathroom.

Raven got back with the dress, I wore it and it was pretty nice because it wascolor like rose red, and I had my hair down and it was waved, one of themaids here on the ship did it.“That’s good, you’re even more beautiful now” he said when Raven and himwere staring at me like I was some kind of a rose to them.“Please, don’t tease me!” I said angrily trying to look away but couldn’t.“I’m not, but that’s right; you’d be even prettier if you’d smile” he saidcontinually getting my attention.“Give me a reason why I should smile?” I replied angrily.“Smile for me” he continued.I nearly smiled, and I couldn’t stand it because of how he was looking at mewith those eyes and that look on his face. Evan is gorgeous.

“What’s with you?” I growled.

Evan, Raven and I got out of the room, the three of us finally got in this bigball room known as the Palace room. It was wonderful, I’ve never been to adinner like this; I thought that it would just be the three of us that would behaving dinner together. But instead we had to sit next to other people I donot know.“And that’s why I had to go on a holiday” Evan said talking all alluring toeveryone.“Blake, you have such a pretty companion” an old lady mentioned sitting onfront of me.“Huh” I whispered.

“You’re still friends right? Will you become his future wife?” an old man saidauthority.“That’d be great… Mrs. Tiffany Blake” he said grimly with his face leaning onhis right hand. “But however, she wont let me call her anything more than afriend” he continued.“What a waste” a young beautiful woman said at his left side, trying to be allglamorous in front of him.She was wearing a red dress just like me, but she had her hair up with somecurly hair out on each side near her ears. And a rose was attached at theright side of her hair.‘Didn’t we just meet, you big fat liar?!’ I whispered looking at him like anidiot.‘What is he planning, dressing me up like this; his really trying to be a showoff’ I continued.“I’m having a hard time now, because she wouldn’t accept my advances”Evan continued on.“Evan Blake, aren’t you an adopted son from the Blake family? Whoseparents were killed by an animal” the old man asked.“Yes…” he murmured looking down with a frown.



‘An animal, whose parents got killed…, by animal,’ I wondered what’s all thatabout?“Unbelievable! About what happened to your parents…” the other old mansaid on my right.“I don’t mean to be rude but I wish not to talk about that…” he said as anexcuse.

“Speaking of excuses, I need to get some air… uh excuse me” I said jumpingout of the chair and heading outside the ship.

When I got outside, I looked down at the ocean that smoothly waved. As Istand there staring down I could see fishes, after I looked back town, knowingthat where nearly that far away; we’ve already pass the pier.While I stand there it feels like I’m all alone, but when I’m with Evan, it feelslike I’ve known him for ages and that I’m safe with him.

Thinking about Evan a lot made me think how handsome he is…. “Wait, whatI am saying… I only met him yesterday and here I am on a ship and its darkalready and well… oh what am I saying? Of course Evan is handsome” Imuttered.

“Thank you” an alluring familiar voice said behind me.I turned around shocked to see Evan standing about ten feet away from me.“Evan! Uh no I was just standing here… talking to myself… you know….Saying things…. like how… handsome…. You are…” I was completelyembarrassed and struggled to what I’m saying.“Well what I’m trying to say is that, since everyone had their eyes on you, uhearlier. So, whether or not I have favorable opinion of you is a differentmatter altogether” I said not staring at him.“You’re right, I forced you aboard this ship against your will” he mutteredwith a smile as he stares at me with those mauve eyes.“At least you’re aware of what you’ve done” I said looking at him.“By the way, who were you talking too?” he asked.

I was stunned because he might of thought that I was crazy talking to myself “well do you think its weird talking to yourself? I do that a lot of times…yeah!” I said trying to be smart but not very good at it.“Really… well you have a lot of experience showing it” he said as hecontinually glares at me.‘You don’t even mean that…’ I whispered with a frown.“Have you been having a drink?” he asked.I looked at the bottle at my right on a table “n-no why would I drink a bottle

of scotch? I am not a drinker… never will and never have tasted it” I saidshockingly.“As I fear, I’ve hurt your feelings” he said looking at me sadly for somereason.“Seriously you’ve got it all wrong! I didn’t drink that! Uh one of the guysdrank it and well… left it there” I continued but annoyed at the same time.It was awkward after I spoke to him like that… he just stood there staring atme with those eyes. I was shocked and I turned my back on him and felt alittle bad.“Was that strange? Go ahead… say something… laugh if you want. As youcan see, I completely lost my mind” I muttered angrily with my arms crossed.



After I heard him step forward, I turned around and the first thing I was himsmiling at me as the wind smoothly blows his blonde perfectly hair.“Your dark green, peridot eyes look as if they could unravel the mysteries of the world.” He flirted.“You’re exaggerating” I said as I was stunned.“In the light, your eyes shine like brilliant, golden fireworks; they’re not truly

beautiful, but truly mysterious” he continued as he kept coming closer.“You are the most flirtatious guy I’ve ever met you know, but I am a girl whowill not fall for that… I don’t really go for guys that are very flirtatious” Iinsisted angrily as he was making me walk backwards.“That’s true, I am a flirtatious guy; and I’m doing this because… well I needyou” he replied in such a courtly way.“You need me?” I whispered.“Yes… since you’ve helped me escape at that hotel I thought that you werethe one who could help me get out of this mess” he continued.“Yeah well first you’re gonna have to take me back to forks academy, cause Iam not gonna live on a ship or some sort” I demanded.He kept on walking forward and making me walk backwards, I had my hands

out from behind so if I feel anything then I’ll know that I’m at the corner orsomething.“Stop it” I authority.“Why do you want to go back to town and the Academy or whatsoever” heasked curiously.“W-why does it matter to you? You don’t know that place, you hardly live inthat town” I growled trying to talk in a pertly way.“I mean, where are you from anyway? I mean I hardly even know you, I don’tknow if you have any parents, or-how old you are and everything, I don’teven know your identity” I continued.“I’m seventeen years old, you don’t want to know about my identity and Irather not talk about my parents” he demanded.

As he continues to walk forward making me walk backwards, I felt a cold spotbehind me and noticed that we were in some kind of shady area.“Why don’t you want to tell me anything about yourself? Is there a problem?”I asked courtly.“Because, I don’t like talking about it, not after that attack” he replied takingtwo steps forward.‘Attack, did something happen to him or his parents from his past?’ Iwhispered in my head.I was at the end of the ship, where the Australian flag is. He stopped in frontof me as we were both still staring at each other.“Tiffany, please help me” he whispered with so much sadness in his tonedvoice.I walked more backwards, I then stepped on my dress from behind and I fellbackwards nearly off the ship.“W-Ahhh” I screamed.‘He- he caught me right away’ I whispered Shockley.Evan got a hold of my waist as we both hugged each other while I shake fromscaredness. I was scared, only a little but I was calming down because I’mwith Evan right now. The wind blew behind Evan as it blew in front of me, hishair and my hair was blowing, especially mine.



“Le-let go!” I said in a low instance voice.“You’ll fall” he said carefully.I faced my right side and held his chest a little tight, but then I got pissed andangry I didn’t know why. “C-cut it out” I growled pushing him away but didn’twant to.“I am so pissed and angry at you for bringing me into this mess. And bringing

me onto this ship and dressing me up like this. You have no idea what I’mgoing through lately, I’m only sixteen years old and I’m starting to rememberbad things about my past; and you have no idea what kinds of things ishappening in my head, and what’s happening to me. And I wish for you not toknow” I said trying to hold my tears from coming out.“If you are angry and pissed at me and you wish for me not to know anything,and then turn me down” he said so calmly like he doesn’t care.I was shocked, I’ve never ever met a guy like him before, his different, and hedoesn’t care about anything but for me to help him.“I can’t impossibly help an imposter like you get out of a mess like this, I

hardly know you, Evan” I growled closing my eyes still trying to hold mytears.

“So, are you going to swim back at the Academy?” he asked.I turned my head around and saw the ocean waving all roughly now, not calmput rough.“So what, are you going to throw me overboard?” I asked looking back at himangrily when I kept on moving my hair out of my face because of the wind.“Of course not, I’m not a vile person, but I’ll give you a warning, you’repenniless right now. And they’ll leave no stone unturned in order to find you”he insisted with an angry frown.I continued to look at him at an angry way, the things his saying to be are

just rude.‘You’re plenty vile, I could feel it…’ I whispered angrily inside my head.

There was a big horn from behind us, I looked back and there was a

battleship or some sort, “what is that, a battleship?” I asked.“So it would seem the other human demons must be looking for us.” Hereplied when I turned back staring deep into his eyes.

Evan and I went back to the room we were in; Raven was inside with us too. Iwas a little scared because these demons are kind of different from the ones Iusually fight.“Now, shall we discuss our plans before trouble arrives” Evan said staringoutside the window.“Yes…. right away… please I want to leave this ship right now” I muttered asI fake chuckled at the same time and jumping out of the couch.“Don’t panic” he said turning around.‘It’s not like your not’ I whispered as I stopped being stupid of myself.“So, what’s the plan then? Are we just gonna jump out of the ship like whatyou told me? Or just stay here and wait till we get captured?” I said puttingmy arms crossed staring at him angrily.“No” he said. “Were gonna run for our lives” he continued.“What, just like that?” I said moving my hair out of my way sounding a littlecrazy.“Running is not a good idea to escape out of this ship” I insisted.



“Were gonna run on the side of the ship” he said looking out of the windowagain as he touched it.“Oh yeah like your gonna make me go over board, huh” I said as I touchedmy hair with both of my hands worried about his plan.“Yeah, we are” he said smiling at me.“You weren’t kidding, huh” I said with one eyebrow up.

“Raven, you go without us” he ordered while walking up to and completelyholding my right hand.“Milord” he whispered.“Go, we’ll be fine” he continued.“Yes” he murmured before leaving the room.“Come on” he said as we started to run out of the room.It was hard for me to run because of the dress, I had to pick it up with my lefthand while Evan and I run down the hallway. When we were running, my rightheel broke, I trip and nearly sprained my ankle.“Are you okay?” he asked.I nodded and we continually ran.Each corner we run too there’s always one of those demons, their eyes start

to turn bright red and sharp pointy teeth and nails, and keeps on making theothers come after us.“I am so tired… of running…. you know” I said all puffed up.“Where are we going anyway?” I asked.“To one on of those mini boats” he said looking around trying to find a wayout.“This way” he said when he found a square window that leaded outside.“Uh, hey wait… that’s not the way out …” I shouted when the both of us felloutside and landed on the water.“Great, I told you that weren’t a way out!” I growled splashing the water

everywhere all soaking wet! “Well I never knew” he said just swimming there.

We both looked at the ship, the demons were really attacking that ship, butwhat will happen to the others? Oh and it was hard to swim with a heavydress.“So what are we gonna do now?” I asked still floating in the water.“Come on, town is not that far” he said swimming towards town.

We were nearly there, I was getting so tired because of the dress, “you knowif you didn’t give me such a big dress I would of swim much, much morebetter” I argued.“Just, come on were already at the shore” he said standing right in front of me with his hand out as I laid there on the wet sand.“Oh, right, thanks” I said holding his hand with mine.I stood up and I removed the sand off my dress, and then I looked up andEvan was staring at me with his eyes. My face was near his, and we werelooking at each other; the wind started to blow making the water wave; andwe were both quiet and cold.“Evan” I whispered.He hummed.“I’m cold” I said shivering a lot.



He moved me next to him and hugged me, I was facing town at his left, andhe had his head on top of me when the wind continued to blow.“We better go get some shade before we get back to your Academy, okay”he said as we both stared at each other again.“Okay” I murmured.He walked pass me first, and then I looked back at the ship, and then looked

back at Evan as he walked towards the rocky stairs or something.“Coming?” he said looking back at me.“Y-yes” I said running towards him as I carried my dress and shoes.

Evan and I were waiting next to the train station, waiting for a taxi to comeand pick us up. Of course it looked like it was pretty late so I don’t if therewould be a cab or something, I mean; this is a kind of small town… but notthat small or big.“Sir, are you looking for a taxi?” a taxi driver said with circled glasses whilehe had a smirk smile on his face.Evan and I both looked over to him, “no, thank you” Evan said when he gavehim an angry look like he knew him.

“Please don’t say that, I’ll give you a good price.” He said smiling at us nicely.“Really, well thank you, we were sort of about to call for a taxi” I said when Itook four step forward as I talked to him.

The guy stared at me when his glasses shined. When I looked at Evan as Ismiled, the taxi driver grabbed a hold of my left wrist and he had a knife withhim near my neck.“Tiffany” Evan said when I was frightened of the taxi driver and so was he.

The taxi driver smiled, and Evan was angry as he looked at him. Then therewas more other guys surrounding us.“Don’t move, Sir” a guy said with a pistol gun pointing at Evan while all of there eyes turned bright red.‘Are these…. human demons?’ I whispered.

“Why if it’s not Derek, another human demon huh, you and your other demonfriends don’t give up. I mean, I already killed your demon brother Oscar”Evan said as he smiled cheekily at ‘Derek’ whomever.“Shut up, Evan. I’m tired of tracking you around places to places” Derek saidwhile he was still had the pistol.“Right, anyway I’m a ‘Lord’ not a ‘Sir’, please don’t confuse the others” Evansaid as he was trying to piss them off.“Don’t test me Evan! Because of you, Oscar wouldn’t have been dead rightnow” Derek shouted angrily.“Well, you shouldn’t have sent such a young demon like him to kill me. Youknow me, I always get away from all of you’s” Evan replied happily.“Silence! I’ll feed you to the other dogs and watch you get eaten” Derekgrowled continually when he’s eyes turned red.“Ahhh” the taxi driver screamed when something cut him straight through.“Wh-what is going on?” Derek said when his eyes turned back to normalwhen he was frightened.Evan grabbed me away from that crazy taxi driver who had a knife near myneck, and when I looked back it was Raven behind him, I’ve always wonderedwere he is and here he is. But there was something different about him,fighting these demons that nearly attacked us. Raven’s left eye was really



light green, like it was glowing and every time he moves it follows it. And thedemon he killed turned in to dust and blew across his face when his juststanding there.‘What is he?’ I whispered when Raven was in front of us fighting Derek andthe others.When Evan and I stand there watching Raven doing the entire job, Raven

picked up that demon drivers knife and sliced Derek’s pistol fun.‘He has great skills….’ I continued when he continued to fight.“Lord Evan, there is a taxi around the corner down the street.” He said whenhe jumped in font of us when his eyes turned back to normal.“Get them!” shouted Derek when he was pushed by Raven on the ground.“Take care of them, Raven” said Evan when two demons started to runtowards us.Evan held my right hand and we both started to run leaving Raven fight thosedemons, when I looked back seeing him fight he really has great skills of fighting demons. Every move he makes they hardly even touch him, and Iwas so distracted looking at Raven I tripped on the ground.“Tiffany!” Evan said looking back at me from the ground.

“I’ll be taking her, Blake. After all, Claw would be very proud of me catchingthe last fire princess” Derek said when he had a long sword near my left sideof the cheek as he laughs.‘Who’s Claw?!’ I whispered.Derek grabbed my left wrist and tried to make me stand up harshly, “stand!”he growled angrily.“N-no! Let me go!” I said angrily when I was struggling to let go of his dirtylittle demon hand.“Be quiet!” he said when he was about to cut me with the sword.“Derek! Stop it!” Evan growled running towards us and attacking Derekbehind me.I looked behind and Evan got cut by Derek’s sword, I could see his blood and

the cut from what Derek did. Then Evan got out a little knife and turned backand cut Derek’s wrist when he let go of his sword.

Then Evan grabbed a hold of me and we both continued to run away fromhim. I was about to do something to Derek too, until Evan had attack him.

After all that trouble Evan and I stopped into this old house, it was wreckedbut it will do for us to stay and have a rest for a little while. There was a littlewell outside the house, so I grabbed a pan bucket thing that was in the houseand got some water.‘Evan… saved my life today’ I said looking down at the water rememberinghow Evan tried to sacrifice himself to save me.My dress was all ruined and dirty, when I took Evan’s jacket I saw somesleeping pills, there was only three enough for him to rest. I wasn’t very godat making tea but I’ll try my best to, and put these pills in the tea so he coulddrink it and rest.‘After Evan goes to sleep, it’s my chance for me to escape while his asleepand while Raven is not here. But, even though he kind of kidnapped me andgot me on a ship and dressed me up like his little doll, I couldn’t escape away from him. Not since he saved my life earlier.’ I continued hiding the pills as Ihold it in my hand.



I got back in with some water on a big wok, and as I came in Evan stared atme and that stopped me standing there while I held the wok.“It’s not good for your wound if you move too much” I insisted while walkingtowards the fireplace.“I was only lighting the fire” he replied sitting on the left wall staring at me.

“Does it hurt?” I asked courtly standing in front of him.“A little, however I still can’t believe that your still here right before my veryeyes” he muttered with a smile.“Why?” I asked.I turned around and crouched down near the fireplace; I got my right handout and placed it in the fire. The look on Evan’s face he was stunned and waswondering what I was doing. However, I sometimes think to myself how doesit feel like getting burnt by fire, because a fire princess like me—I cant feel athing.“Wha-what are you doing?” he asked getting my hand away.I looked at him, smiling at him looking at my hand. “It’s okay.” I whispered.He let go of my hand and moved back at the wall still surprised.

“Why aren’t you burnt?!” he asked Shockley.“I’m the fire princess—I can’t get burnt.” I said in a sad toned voice.I stood up and sat on a chair in front of the fireplace. “So tell me Evan, whoare you really?” I asked.“Edgar John was my real first name… before I was adopted by the Blakefamily” he replied staring at the old wooden floor.‘Edgar John?’ I whispered Shockley.“Was?” I said.He looked up at me with his mauve eyes and started to talk about hischildhood “when I was twelve, that name died along with my parents”“My parents were killed by Saline Deon” he continued staring at the fireplace.“Who is she?” I asked.

“Saline Deon, attacked and brutally murdered my parents, a bloodsuckingbeast… a vampire” he said staring at me in a very scary way.I chuckled. “Wait a minute, there’s no such things as vampires, their justmyths, legends… they really don’t exist at this time of year”He stared at me again and I shouldn’t have said anything but listened, “whenmy parents died I had nobody, my other family’s thought I was dead with mymother and father, so I was nothing but a ghost to them. You can call meanything you like” he said with so much loneliness in his toned voice.‘Such sadness in him…’ I whispered feeling so bad right now.“But… you’re alive… and your name is Evan Blake, I will never call youanything else…” I said nearly crying but tried to holding them to them getout.“Yes, I am alive… but it was a living hell,” he said standing up and startingunbutton his shirt.He looked at me and gave me a smile, and then he turned around “I wasadopted by the Blake family; there they respected me like I really was theirown son. The Blake family was purebloods” he said continually taking hisshirt off.“What are purebloods…? Evan?” I asked curiously.“Born as a vampire” he replied.



“But listen to me, vampires… they don’t exist, seriously if they were then Iwould of seen and known some of them right now. But, I don’t.” I saidmuttered staring at the fireplace.“I’m sorry Evan but, I will not believe you about vampires, the other thingsyou’ve said are tragic but, still…” I continued looking away like I justembarrassed myself.

“So then what happened?” I asked continually.“I-I mean who’s your step brother or sister?”“You say you don’t believe in vampires and still you want to known thetruth?” he chuckled wrapping some of his ripped shirt on his cut.“Shut up!” I murmured crossing my arms.

“You’re funny” he laughed putting his shirt back on.“If you say it like that then I might as well not know, okay” I said angrily.“Tiffany, I’ve never met a girl like you before” he quietly said facing the wallwhile standing there.I was stunned “what?” I whispered.He looked back and sat on the floor with one leg up while his right arm wason top.

“I know I am the kind of guy you don’t like, but, there is something about youthat I don’t understand. It’s like I want to learn more about you…” hecontinued giving me more sadness look in his eyes.I was shivering, not cold or anything but shivering about what his saying tome, “I’m only telling you this once, Evan. You don’t want to get involved inmy life, not right now, there are things happening to me that… I don’t wantyou to know… I am the last fire princess, who has lost her memories, aprincess who’s never knew her parents… but in my dreams I see them, butnot a happy dream. A nightmare that’s filled with… blood, hatred, sadness,loneliness and… and that frightens me. When I have those kinds of nightmares I… I always wish that it would just erase out of my head, so Icould just live normal just like the others. So you don’t want to go there.” I

said through the tears pouring down my cheeks.“You and I are like the same but different stories about how our parents died.Mr. Forks, my adopted father, he used to tell me once of how my parents diedwhen I was thirteen years old. He never explained it properly but I kind of guessed and imagined how they died.” I continued closing my eyesremembering the time when Mr. Forks told me.I then heard him walk up to me, from behind I felt his arms a crossed mychest, he hugged me tightly as he can, and I opened my eyes.“I’m here…” he whispered behind my left ear when my face was kind of tilted.“And I still want to learn more about you, no matter what” he continuedputting his head on my shoulder.“I have to get your tea” I whispered continuing to stare at the fireplace whenthe water was boiling.He looked up at the pan bucket and let go of me, and then he sat back downon that corner he was sitting when I came in.I got a metal cup, I washed it when I was outside, and I kneeled and got somehot water from the boiling pan.‘I’m here, I want to learn about you’ I could still hear he’s voice inside myhead. I shook my head tried to get it away.



Forgetting what he said I got some mint leaf from outside the backyard, andthen I didn’t want him to notice what I was doing so I kind of face the cupaway from him, and putted the sleeping pills in the cup with the water andmint leaf.“This may not be real tea, but it’ll calm you down a little” I said walking up tohim and handing him the cup as I kneeled down.

“Thank you” he said smiling at me when I was holding it out.I was looking at the tea I made, and I was trying not to make any emotionsfor him to notice if I putted anything in the tea.Evan grabbed the cup with his left hand, and then when I let go he grabbedmy hand with his right hand got and got angry a little.“What did you put inside?” he asks angrily.“What are you talking about?” I ask pretending like I never putted anything inthe tea.“You put in something else other than the mint leaf” he said when he pulledme into him when I nearly touched his nose with mine.“You’re acting like you’ve done something with this tea” he continued whenhis eyes and my eyes were staring at each other.

“Can you still breathe? Tiffany?” he asked when he suddenly gave me asmile.“Yes” I said shooking my head.“Have you suffered through such despair?” I asked pushing my face back.He let go of my hand and stared at the tea, he was staring at it with sadnessagain.“Tiffany, are you going to abandon me?” he asks when he looked up.“H-how can you say that?” I said looking at him when I was holding my hand.“Please don’t go!” he continued sadly.“I don’t understand” I continued with a frown.“If you insist on leaving me, then I shall die here?” he said looking back at histea.

I shook my head “don’t say that.”“If my final hope disappears, then living would only mean suffering, if this ispoison, then your heart will feel no pain when I say that I will take my ownlife.” He said drinking the tea right away.“It’s not poison, it’s just sleeping medicine that I found in your pocket” Ishouted.“I see” he said finishing the whole thing in the cup.“Then my fate will decide when I awaken, if you run away then my life endshere” he said smiling at me when he dropped the cup.“Wait!” I said holding his face as I talk.“Sweet dreams, my fairy” he slowly said when I watched him slowly closinghis eyes with a smile.‘I changed my mind, I am not leaving you’ I said slowly laid him on theground.

It was morning, from all the trouble yesterday I was very, very tired, and fromlast night as well. I was sleeping on a green old wrecked couch, I woke up andEvan was there kissing my left hand smiling when the sun was right behindhim, making him shine in front of my eyes.“Thank you, you didn’t repudiate me, I thank you, again.” he said happily.



“I thought you hated me and that you would leave me.”I sat up and made him let go of me, “of course I hate I you, you’re a liar, Ihate liars.” I muttered but joking a little bit.He chuckled with a great smile. He stood up with a big sigh, “well, we shouldbring you back to your Academy.”“Really—“

When I stood up quickly out of the couch I tripped in front of Evan. It madehim land on his back while I was on top of him.“Ow!” he complained and I too did.I looked at him and he looked at me, we looked at each other for a longsecond.“I’m sorry” I finally said trying to stand up.“That’s fine.” He said.I looked at him again, wondering… and I didn’t know what, but I waswondering about him.“Well, we better go.” I said grabbing his jacket from the couch.“Thanks.”Once his hand touched my hand they were warm. But I was staring at his

rope marks, they were bad. They must’ve tied the rope on him really tight.“Harsh.” I whispered.He hummed trying to look at me when I was still looking at his wrist.“What they’ve done to you. It’s horrible. How could you survive, from a tragictorture like that?” I asked.He putted his jacket after I let go of his hand.

“Don’t worry about it, they’ve done this to me a few times… and I’ve escapeform them on that few times… but right now, it seems like I’m never goingback there, because you now I’ve got you.”“I thank you.” He said kissing my forehead from a surprise.I just looked down, after he kissed me I rudely walked pass him walkingtowards the front door. Once I opened the door, the bright light came right in

the house. I looked back to Evan and gave him a smile.“Well, shall we go?” I said happily.He smiled also and then afterwards he nodded. I smiled completely at him, sowe both headed out of the house.

Everyone is staring at Evan and me; well mostly me because I’m wearing abig puffy dress out in the sun. Evan was happy, he was even saying hi toeveryone he looks at—especially to the girls who looks at him and he looks atback.“Are you always like this?” I asked with my arms crossed while we werecontinually walking towards Forks Academy.“Like what?” he asked looking at me.“Flirt—with every girl you spot, or every girl that spots you.” I saidcontinually.“Yes, girls interests me.” he replied.“So do you have a girlfriend?” I asked again.“No.”“Well, you must have gone out with every girl that you’ve dated—right?” Icontinued.



“I’ve dated girls—but never gone out with any of them.” He repliedcontinually.I was confused. “Why not”“None of them interests me.” he continued.“But you just said that girls interests you.” I said continually confused.“Yes, they do. But the girls that I’ve dated, they’re not the one I’m actually

looking for.” He replied.I stop and so did he. “Then what kind of girl that interests you?” I asked witha smile.He was quiet for a second, staring at me in an amazed way.“Girls like—“He was about to say something, until he got interrupted; by Sophie andFiona.

They bumped me away from Evan, and I just tried to ignore them and mindmy own business and let them talk to Evan.“Who’s the mystery guy?” Sophie asked.I turned around staring at them; I moved my hair out of the way.“Guys, this is Evan Blake.” I introduced.

“Hey, Evan, what are you doing out here hanging around by yourself?” Fionaflirted.I was still staring at them. But once I looked back at Evan, he wasn’t payingany attention to Sophie and Fiona, he was looking at me.He moved towards me moving away Sophie and Fiona.“I’m not alone. I’m with Tiffany.” He said smiling down at me.I stared at him for one more second, and then smiled back at him when awind blew.Sophie and Fiona was jealous behind Evan. They are staring at me in such anangry way.“Well, we really should head back to Forks Academy.” I said walking beforeall of them.

“Yes, right.” Sophie said when she and Fiona each got a hold of Evan’s armswalking behind me as I leaded.

“Oh, my god Tiffany, I was so worried about you. Where have you been?” Mr.Forks asked hugging me in front of Hugh, Marko, Howl, Evan and the girlsbehind me.“Yeah, Mr. - I-I mean Dad, I’d like you to meet someone. I’d like you all tomeet, Evan Blake.” I said after I made Mr. Forks let go of me and showedEvan to all of them.

They were all surprised. Sophie and Fiona still have both of their armsattached to Evan’s.Evan was trying to make them let go when he was trying to want Mr. Forksshake his hand.“Hello, Sir.” He said courtly.I was behind Evan and the girls. Happy that Evan is actually doing well.“Hello Evan, my name is Mr. Richard Forks; you can call me Richard, or Mr.Forks.” Mr. Forks said when they both shake each other’s hands.After them both shake hands, Mr. Forks moved aside and wanted Evan tomeet the other guys.



The way Hugh looked at Evan I didn’t like his facial look. I moved in front of Sophie standing at Evan’s right side. Evan looked at me with a smile, andHugh just looked at me.“Um, Hugh, this is Eva-“Hugh interrupted. “Nice to meet you, Evan.” Hugh said.“Nice to meet you too, Hugh” Evan said politely with his hand out and a

smile.I was in the middle of both of them, staring down at Evan’s hand.I looked up at Hugh and he looked down at me. I nodded wanting him toshake Evan’s hand.Hugh took a big sigh and shake Evan’s hand.“Well, isn’t this nice. All of us together!” a random guy said with his armsaround Evan and I from behind.“Rick!” Hugh said in a surprised.Evan and I looked at that-‘Rick’ dude that Hugh just called out.“Uh—who are you?” I asked.He looked down at me and he seemed amazed. He made Evan move asideand got a hold of my right hand.

“My name is Rick, Rick Jack Milady.” He said before kissing my hand.“Uh-“I murmured.Hugh made him let go of my hand rudely. “What are you doing here, Rick?”Hugh asked angrily sounding like he isn’t happy to see him.I looked over to Hugh’s right side. “You know him?” I asked.Hugh looked at me. “Uh yes, I’m sorry Richard, this is my little brother, Rick.”He introduced.“Well, another Jack huh, it’s nice to meet you.” Mr. Forks said shaking hishand with ‘Rick’.Rick is pretty handsome, his hair is dark brown and it’s nothing like Hugh’shair. His eyes are light blue—still are nothing like Hugh’s. And his wearingclothes like what Hugh sometimes wears, a shirt and dark blue pants; but

Rick doesn’t seem to unbutton his buttons.Everything is confusing right now. Where did Rick come from?After that confusing talk with Rick, Evan and everyone else, and after whenEvan and Rick got introduced to Marko and Howl. Mr. Forks decided that thetwo of them should stay and be a student here in Forks Academy. The two of them got putted in the Guardian Academy, which is cool because theGuardian Academy hardly really has that much students.I walked Evan and Rick to their room when I was still wearing my dress andso is Evan.I was in between the two of them. “So, Rick. How old are you?” I asked.“Seventeen.” He replied happily.“Really, uh you know Evan is seventeen also and he-“Evan interrupted. “I’m actually eighteen, I just turned eighteen three daysago.”“You never told me that.” I said.“I was going to.” He said.“You know, to me you and Hugh don’t look alike much.” I said hoping that itwon’t offence him.“Thanked god! Everyone says that Hugh and I are twins, but I was like—NO—we’re not!” he complained.



“Hugh and I don’t get along that well.” He said sadly.“Why not?” I asked.“After our parents died, he wanted to be alone after that. I tried talking tohim, tried to help him and erase his problems of so much anger. He told meto leave him alone and he said that he never wanted me in his life. But wewere kids then.” He said so emotionally.

“He’ll get over it, I’ve spent every year with Hugh in this Academy, and Iknow him.” I insisted.“Did you see that way he acted back there? Did you realize that he didn’twant me around?” he muttered unhappily.I didn’t say anything, nor did Evan. And Howl has finished his words; which isfine for me, because I understand what his feeling.

Chapter 7: Tiffany and Howl’s First Date Battle Plan

It seems like Evan is liking school, especially when I’m around that’s what he

said. Not only that, everyone also likes him, but I’m not sure about Howl. Hisbeen acting strange lately, he keeps looking at him in a bad way.“So Tiffany, how was your trip, with that Blake dude?” Howl asked sitting on achair while Marko, Rick and I were in the kitchen when I was doing a littlecleaning.“That Blake has a name, Howl” I insisted after I finished the dishes.“Okay, Milady ” he teased.“Don’t tease me, you don’t really want to know how I get mad, so don’t messwith me” I said jokingly pointing a cleaned fork at his face.“Tiffany, as in… Tiffany Shana Forks?” a guy asked from the kitchen door.I looked at the over and I didn’t know who that kid was; he didn’t look like astudent, because he wasn’t wearing a uniform. And if he was a student, then

he would have been to class already. When I looked at him he kind of seemedfamiliar.I was sight, “Jim Bell” I said looking at him Shockley when I was happy.

Jim and I were standing in front of Rick, Marko and Howl; Rick kept on lookingat Jim and then me and then Jim. The three of them were kind of confused of how I know Jim.“These… are your friends?” he asked smiling at me carrying a box when heputted them down on the kitchen bench.“Uh- yes, um… these two, Marko and Howl, are my classmates in threeclasses” I said looking at Marko and Howl when they stared at Jim for quiet awhile.“And this one’s… just someone I know” I said introducing Rick to Jim.

Rick was kind of ashamed from me not introducing him properly; he tilted hishead on the side of Howl’s right shoulder upset.“This is so great, we haven’t seen each other since… well since you left thisAcademy” I said happily.“Yeah, I know, and your hair was shorter from before I left” he said when weboth sat on each chair facing each other.“That’s such a waste” he continued.“Y-you think so? I never realized that you liked my hair shorter from before” Isaid looking at my hair when I was sort of fiddling with it.



“I mean, growing it I actually think its way much more convenient” Icontinued when I let go of my hair.“Have you gotten bored of the life here in Forks Academy yet?” he askedafter he took a sip from his coke.“Do you still meet up with people in the Mist Class?” he continued.“Yeah, sort of” I nodded.

I looked over outside the kitchen door and Rick and Marko were staring at Jimand me, and then Howl was just standing there staring at the ground since

Jim and I started talking.

“So, Tiffany’s old pal three years ago, huh” I said staring at the Jim kid in adisturbing way when Rick was staring at Tiffany in a disturbing way.“That guy hasn’t contacted her on those three years” Marko said staring at

Tiffany when she kept on talking and smiling at Jim.“So you don’t call that a friend, Marko; you just call that a former middleschool classmate” I muttered before I looked away angrily.

“So you say those two guys is your classmates in three classes, huh” Jim said

when he looked at them and looked back at me.“What classes?”“Um…” I said thinking in my head.“Well Marko is partners with his own brother Howl in Biology” I said looking atthem when Jim nodded and listened.“And their also in the same class as me in Maths and Humanities” Icontinued.“Okay, so what about in the middle, you didn’t really say anything about himearlier” he said.“Oh, yes well… his name is Rick, Rick Jack, and well… his really a flirtatiousguy just like this guy called Evan. And his happy about mostly everything andnever worries about… well… everything I guess. And he only moved her three

days ago, so I don’t really know him; but he can be really funny.” I continued.“So his not in any classes as you?” he asked.“No, no his not” I said staring at Howl when he hasn’t looked over for justonce.“Hey Tiffany, you think you can stop working like this? There’s someoneslacking off from their work here!” Howl yelled wobbling his empty glassaround from across the kitchen.“What are you talking about work? This is not my actual job, Howl” I mutteredwhen I looked at him angrily.“And Rick, can you not increase amount of trash over there?” I said looking atRick when he sat on the ground ripping and ripping each paper into long bits.“It’s not trash… it’s a home for a hamster” he said sounding depressed.“Rick, you don’t have a hamster” I said.“I’m not your Rick…” he said when he looked at me in a creepy depressing

way.“I’m just something you know” he continued and continued to rip the papers.

Then Jim started to laugh, “Students here in Forks Academy is really funny”he said.“Yes, but these three aren’t here from Forks Academy, their form theGuardian Academy” I said staring at Rick continually.



“Well, to tell you the truth I’ve been worried of what had happened to you,but seeing you now I’m glad and happy to see you cheerful in anyways” Jimsaid smiling at me.When I smiled at him happily he went a little blushed “ah, but, I wasn’t theonly one worried, my parents were too, oh and Hilary and Freddy” he saidstruggling to talk nervously.

“What’s he trying to do? Is he going for the ‘refreshing and ‘pure’ path?”Howl said giving Jim an angry jealousy look.“The refreshing competition ended last time already” he continued lookingaway.“You guys seem quiet critical” Marko said leaning over and looked over atHowl.“Heck. This guy obviously has a crush on Tiffany” he continued embarrassing

Jim like that in front of me when Jim looked over unhappy.“It feels kind of disgusting when it’s so obvious” he continued.I got mad and angry, and he shouldn’t do this to my old friend that I haven’tseen for three years.

“Hold it right there, Howl! You’re the one acting like a jerk right now!” Igrowled when I stood out of my chair and looked at Howl angrily.“Ah. Its okay, it’s okay, it’s true that I have a crush on you, Tiffany” Jim saidtalking all innocence and a little happy.

The three of them looked shocked and stunned and looked over at Jim andme.“But yeah, I’ve already been dumped” he continued smiling at me when hemoved his light brown hair back. We were all shocked and looked at Jim whenhe also stood up.“Why are you acting surprised?” Marko asked.“Uh, because…” I said looking at Marko from behind when the three of ussurrounded Jim when Howl was still back out of the kitchen door.

“Hey person called Jim, when did this happen?” Rick asked curiously.“It happened around three years ago” he said like he was remembering it.

“There she is” I said running towards her.“Tiffany” I shouted.She turned around, looking at me with those dark green eyes of hers.“I’m sorry” I said taking my breath when I stopped in front of her.“Sorry if I’ll be leaving this Academy and not see you again” I continued.“I was hopping to stay here in Forks Academy and be in same classes with

you…” I continued.“Well, you should have told my father that earlier, and your parents” shesaid.“You make it sound like you don’t want me to leave” I said going a little redand hot.“It’s because I don’t want you to, you see you’re the greatest pal I could ever have, I mean I know Hugh is… sort of, but still… you’re the greatest, and for that I don’t want you to leave” she said when she looked at me with sadnessin her dark green eyes.



“But, we live with it; we need to do our best of things, right. Anyways I haveto go and talk to father right now… so it wont be…” she said nearly runningoff.“Tiffany” I said holding her left wrist and stopped her when she lookedbehind.“I-I-I’d like you to go out with me!” I quickly said.

She kept on looking at me with her ash green eyes, she then smiled at meand said- “Yeah” she said.“We should both go to father’s office before it’s too late, lets go together” she said.Then that broke my heart a little, I thought the ‘yeah’ I heard was an answer of an ‘okay I will’ but It wasn’t.

The story Jim told Marko, Rick, Me and sort of Howl, I was kind of sorry aboutthat. I didn’t mean to say something that he didn’t expected.“Tiffany” Rick said when he and Marko were surrounding me and giving methis look.“You destroyed this young man’s purity with that kind of a lame joke?” Rick

continued when Marko and he pretended like they were some kind of officersinvestigating me.“No, I just never realized that’s what he meant…” I said standing in front of

Jim when Rick and Marko were still surrounding me.I turned around and wanted to apologize to him, “I’m… sorry.”“What? Am I being dumped again?” he said.He then laughed “don’t worry, don’t worry, it’s past me already; and the factthat she didn’t realize it meant that she wasn’t interested in it either” he saidhappily like it was fine.“But I… like Tiffany’s gentle but farseeing eyes, and that you talk with her,she looks straight at you. I’ve always liked those aspects from her” he saidsitting back down talking so courtly.

Rick smiled happily of what he said, “You think so much about my child! Butdon’t worry, your brave story will not be forgotten” he said holding both of

Jim’s wrist happily as he speaks.

“Howl, what are you going to do?” Marko asked sitting next to me on theground outside the kitchen door while Tiffany and the Rick were too busytalking to little pal Jim.“Were sort of having fun talking to this guy, you should join us” he continuedwhen I took a sip out of my cold drink.“Erg, its freaking obnoxious” I said looking away of everyone.

“Hey, Marko and Howl” called Rick.“You guys should come over here too” he said happily.“It’s very rare and interesting of the stories this guy is talking about, so comeon” he continued.“I’m not interested in hearing them” Howl said unpleasantly.“Isn’t it just stupid? I have no idea why talking about past events is so muchfun, don’t that guy not realized that Tiffany doesn’t see him that way?” hecontinued.



He was starting to piss me off; I stood out of my chair angrily when he kepton talking.“There’s no escape… inside Tiffany… for you to enter” he continued baggingabout it.I continued to walk up to him, and after he kept on talking he looked up and Islap his left face in front of everyone and in front of Jim; it left a little mark on

Howls face but what do I care, he insulted my old friend.“That’s not for you to decide, Howl! I’m not going to tolerate you insulting Jimanymore!” I said angrily when I started to have tears.It was quiet for him, after I slapped him he was shocked, and then he lookeddown upset when he looked at me and seeing me nearly cry.He stood up angrily, staring at me angrily but it seems like he doesn’t want toget mad at me.“What… who cares about anyone else, aren’t we your friends?!” he muttered.I was shocked and he was right, him and the others are my friends, and of what I said sounded like I was only talking about Jim.“Howl wait” Rick said following him down at the corridor.“His world is still so narrow” Marko said when he stared at me.

‘Look at me, my hands are shaking so bad after I slapped him, why did I put my anger on Howl?’ I whispered looking at my right hand. It was red and itwas shaking painfully.

“What, man? You got pretty heated back at the Academy” Rick said when heknocked after he followed me out of Forks Academy and here to the GuardianAcademy and right in my room.“Going through youth?” he asked when I was on my bed facing the wall.“You were pissed, too” I said looking back at him standing there at my doorsmiling at me.“I believe I was more rational than you were” he continued as he sat on mybed behind me.

“Forcing your own selfish feelings onto others like that… that’s like a kidbehaviour, even Tiffany would get sick of it.” He continued.“I can’t help it! I don’t know what it is, but I was really pissed inside” I saidlooking out of the window.“Anyway, you should go back to Forks Academy and apologize to that Jimkid” he said.

After Howl insulted Jim, Jim had to leave because he had work to do; adelivery boy isn’t that bad for a change for him, unless he has something todo around this place.“I’m sorry, Jim, that you had to see me angry and all… and that my friend- Imean… that Howl insulted you like that” I said apologizing when he wasabout to get on his bike after he putted his blue hat on.“It’s okay, it seems like I did something that rubbed him the wrong way” hesaid happily.“Look, Howl is finally here” Rick said pointing him out where Howl was.“My bad” Howl said when he walked up to Jim with his left hand behind hishead.“Sorry” he continued apologizing when it made Jim happy.



“It doesn’t matter, don’t worry about it, bye then, Tiffany, see you guysaround” he said leaving away on his bike when we all waved goodbye.“Therefore, Tiffany” Howl said smiling at me.“What?” I said looking at him.“Can you go out on a date with me all day tomorrow?” he asked happily.I was shocked and stunned that he wants time with me tomorrow, ‘a date

with Howl Howling? I wonder how that would feel’ I whispered in my head.“Sure, why not, wont hurt a bit” I said smiling at him like it was alright.“Just one thing” Marko said when he went in front of me.“You need to escort her properly” he continued pointing his finger at him, andthen Howl nodded.

I got ready for my date with Howl today; it was a pretty good day for a datewith Howl.“Sorry for making you wait” Howl said walking behind me when I looked back.“Huh? What’s up with you?” I asked when he came towards me with anunhappy smile.“Anyway, what should we do? Go back?” I said when I was so ready to

explore town with Howl for the very first time.I felt kind of ridiculous, I was wearing a white dress with straps and the dresswas about above the knee, and I’m wearing black high-heels with it and myhair down and a long purse.“No, I will company you for today, that aside, your look…” he said staring atme from toe to head.“Oh… um… you don’t like it? Does it look weird in anyways?” I said looking atmyself.“Nah!” he said.“Then I’m glad” I said smiling at him happily.

“No…. Tiffany!!!” I said not wanting Tiffany go on a date with Howl while me

and Rick has to watch and spy on both of them.“Hold on, Marko… stop… they’ll find out if they see us two!!” Rick said tryingto stop me from getting out of the tea shop when I could just see Tiffany andHowl out of the window.“Why did Tiffany have to end up going on a date with Howl? I should of stopped her when I had a chance” I said shaking him back and forwardangrily and jealous.“How could something happen like this? Beside, what’s with her outfit? It’ssuper cute! Really super cute” I said continued pointing at Tiffany with hercute, cute, cute dress while she walks off with my little twin brother Howl.“You know, he really likes Tiffany a lot, to tell you the truth that’s what hesaid to me, yet, all he knows is to force his own feelings onto her. And it turnsinto a child’s desire to possess her entirely” he said when we both got outstaring at Tiffany and Howl walk away from behind.“Even if he wants her to acknowledge him, he doesn’t know how tocommunicate that, if he really wants to become her friend instead of seeingher as a toy; he needs to respect her. This appropriate way of ‘having arelationship with someone’… is something I think Howl needs to learn” Rickcontinued as he looks at me.



“Jeez! How do you know all of this when I’m his brother and not you? How doyou notice things?” I asked.“You just talk to them, easy as pie” he replied.“Then we shouldn’t have followed them in the first place, right?" I said.“But…” he said hiding behind a tree that quickly.“We have to witness such interesting event with our own eyes” he continued.

I then looked up the sky seeing if it wouldn’t rain, but by the looks of it, itlooks like it won’t be for today, because there is something I know about

Tiffany ‘thunder’.

“So, where do you want to go? Tiffany?” Howl asked when we kept onwalking around the place and then stopped at a corner and sat on a woodenseat.“I didn’t really think of anything much since we started, you?” I asked whenhe was reading a newspaper.“Well, how about the outlet mall in front of the train station?” he said.“Clothes are cheap there” he continued.“I’d like that” I said smiling.

“But, do you need to buy any clothes?” I asked seeing him with clothes thatare always un-proper for a dude like him. Because all that’s Howl is wearingis blue pants with white sneakers, and a red baggy singlet with a jumper withno sleeves, and he brought he’s music player with big headphones with him.“No, I don’t buy clothes there” he said.‘Then I don’t need any either’ I said looking away.I looked up the sky and it seemed pretty clear to me for a thunder to notstart, “Rick said the weather might take a turn for the worse, I hope it’s not athunderstorm” I said as I continued to look up the sky while the clouds move.“Who cares about the weather?” Howl said staring at when he putted thenewspaper down.

“Damn it, this date isn’t heart-throbbing at all!! He’s so unsociable, and hecalls himself a Guardian?! Switch with me, Howl… I’ll escort her instead…!” Isaid angrily trying to run up to Howl and Tiffany when Rick was trying to stopme again when we were hiding behind a building.“Then there’s no point!” Rick said as he continues to stop me when I was soirritated.

“Ice cream, ice cream, who wants some ice cream”“That old man just sort of looked like Marko?” Howl said staring at the oldman that just walked past and left quickly.“Ice cream, please” I said trying to buy an ice-cream when I left Howl aloneon the seat when he was too busy staring at the old man that he thought thatlooked like Marko.“Hey, Tiffany, don’t just leave like that” he said when he walked up to me.“They say that the ice cream here is very famous today, thanks” I said after Igot my vanilla ice cream from the ice cream man.“Here, take a bite first” I said pointing the ice cream at him.“If it tastes bad, you’re getting a punishment game” he said holding my

hand while he nearly had a lick.



“What a cute little girl!!!” the ice cream man said after he pushed Howl’s faceaway from me.

The ice cream man gave me another new one; it was like he didn’t want meto share it with Howl.“Here, another one for free, here” he said lending me another vanilla icecream.

“Uh… thanks” I said grabbing the ice cream.I took a lick of it, “its delicious” I said happily. And then Howl took a bite outof it instead of a lick, “you’re right” he said agreeing with me.“It’s better than I thought” he continued.

“They were getting into a good mood; why did you have to interfere?!” Ricksaid shaking me around when they walked away with the ice cream I gave.“Umm” the real ice cream man said when he was watching us both.My fake beard was falling of my hair; my fake wig was falling off my headwith the hat.“You fool! You think I can allow that kind of couple- style eating? Indirectkisses aren’t allowed!!!” he continued shaking me while I was kind of sobbing

about me wanting to be with Tiffany on this fine beautiful day.

“Oh look” I said stopping in a shop.“Look how adorable are those shoes” I said looking out of the window staringat a white high-heals with blings on top.“Shoes are so lame, who cares about them?” Howl said when he made mestop looking at it.‘Why does he keep saying that? Like he doesn’t care’ I whispered looking athim when we continued to browse around.“You know, we could go on a longer trip with everyone else some other time,and what do you think about that? Great?” I asked smiling at him.“We’ll just look around the shops in this area…and choose some gifts for each

other, hmm” I continued when I smiled at him one more time.“That would be great” he said.“Well, come on then” I said walking pass him.“Come on Howl” I said looking back when he gave me a smile back but hisface was a bit red.‘Howl and I have been shops to shops, and I’m having lots of fun, it’s even

taking my mind off about what happened yesterday. And if Howl is happy about us two today, then I’m happy for us both.’ I said after I looked awaysmiling without him looking.When we’ve been to shops and his been picking things out if he likes it or notor if it’s okay or not, he’s really been escorting me very well. I never reallythought that going on a date like this with Howl is… actually fun than Ithought It would be.

Watching Howl and Tiffany together out in this beautiful day, makes me feela little jealous. But it doesn’t matter, Howl asked Tiffany what I told him toask her, and she’s happy after what happened.“Lets head back” I said looking away.



“If we blow our cover here, everything will go down to drain. There’s alsosomeone who can’t hold on much longer” I continued as I looked over toMarko as he continues to watch Tiffany and Howl.“It looks like so much fun…so lucky… so lucky…” Marko continued as hesobs.

When Howl and I were looking at a frame shop, I heard something up fromthe sky.I looked back worried, “was that a thunder?”“I didn’t really hear anything. It doesn’t seem like it’s going to rain. Want tohead back soon?” Howl asked when he looked up the sky with me.“Yeah” I said looking away.“Then let’s go to the big street and catch a taxi” he continued.“Huh! Tiffany?” a voice said.I looked over behind Howl and noticed that it was Jim, he was carryinganother box.“What are you guys doing?” he asked when Howl moved aside unhappy tosee him.

“And what about you, Jim?” I asked.“Well, this is my uncle’s store. Are you doing some shopping?” he asked.“Yeah, but were heading back now.” I replied.“Then I could ask my uncle if he could take you guys back in his car. I’ll goask him right now” he continued nicely.“But we can’t…” I said trying not to interrupt, if I really am.“I heard some thunder, it might rain soon” he continued looking up theclouds.“It’s okay; we’ll just get a taxi” Howl said from behind me.“Oh, but don’t waste money on taxi.” Jim continued.

The look on Howl’s face he was mad and annoyed. And then I heard athunder struck, it frightened me a little and I was getting a little scared.

I faked smiling at Howl as I shake a little, “okay, then. The faster the better”Howl just looked at me, and then he looked away. “Just let Tiffany take thecar then”“Howl” I whispered.“Do whatever you want already! And reminisce about your past all you wantor whatever with him!” Howl shouted at me when everyone looked.I looked at Howl sadly, and so did he. He seems upset, about something Ineed to understand.And the look in Howl’s eyes shocked me, but the way I feel… he feelsembarrassed and I don’t think he likes doing this.

Then Howl started to run off, nearly bumped people as he runs pass; “Howl,wait.”“Again, does he hate friends or past events that much? I’m sure he’s got hisown, too.” Jim said as I looked at him still carrying the box.‘That’s right, sometimes I feel that Howl is lonely, and that he wantssomeone to be with him.’ I whispered in my head looking back down.“Oh, Howl!” I murmured sadly.



Since Marko and I got back to the Academy, it started to rain and there wasthunder. When we got back to our dorm rooms, we met up with the otherguys.“That was pretty big” I said when Evan, Emily and I were staring outside thewindow as it rained.“I hope they’re taking shelter from the rain.” Emily said with her right hand

on the cold glassed window.“Marko, you’re being restless” I said looking at Marko behind us when he kepton walking round and round worried.“I’ll go get them…” Marko said trying to escape while the telephone rang.“Hello, this is Emily Green” Emily said answering the phone.“Oh my, Jim, how’s it going? We haven’t seen and talked to each other for awhile” she continued happily.“Huh! Jim!” we all said Shockley.“Yeah, so uh, anyway, what’s the matter? Why did you call?” she askedcuriously.“Huh? You’re asking where Howl and Tiffany are?” she continued when Markonearly sat down.

“What’s he saying?” I ask when Emily kept on humming and listened to what Jim had to say.“I see well Howl should have his cell phone, so I’ll try and call him” shecontinued when she putted the telephone down.“It seems like when they were in front of Jim’s uncle’s store, Howl went backand left Tiffany all by herself.” She said when we were all shocked, especiallyMarko.“Then she went for him right afterwards, but this rain started pouring right?”she asked after she explained of what happened.“That’s why Jim called since he’s worried” she continued when all of us aremore worried than Jim.

I didn’t want to leave Tiffany with Jim. However, she’s probably back at theAcademy with him. Happy… talking about past events. I was listening to myCD player out in the rain under a tree. Afterwards I felt something vibrate inmy right pocket, it was my phone. I got it out and looked at who it was, it’sMarko.I took my headphones out, and answered him. “Hey, Marko, good timing;could you get a car to pick me up? I couldn’t catch a taxi”“You fool, just shut up and go back to look for Tiffany!” he shouted angrily onthe phone.“Huh!”“Who in the world would leave a girl behind out in this rain? Listen, Tiffany isscared of thunders. When a thunder strikes, she gets so scared she isn’t ableto move. Before you get so good of being jealous, be more thoughtful of yourcompanion!” he continued before he hanged up.

That shocked me and even worried, I thought that Tiffany would take Jim’suncles car after when I left. She must have come after me, so stupid of me!“What… how would I know if she didn’t tell me…?” I whispered to myself.And then that hit me, ‘I hope it’s not a thunderstorm- was that a thunder?Okay then… the faster the better’ remembering those got me so pissed;

Tiffany said things to me that I didn’t notice.



“Who would know with just those clues, idiot!” I shouted angrily.I then started to run; I’ve asked people to people knowing if they’ve seen

Tiffany anywhere; but no answer. Then I looked to shops that we’ve been, butshe’s not there. I was stupid to leave her alone, why do I get so angry and

jealous so easily?Running around town got me tired; I stoped and took a little rest. And then

when a thunder struck, I looked over to my left and saw the church. Once Ilooked at it the door was open, and there was Tiffany’s shoes all wet right infront of the door.Once I got there and opened the door, thunders struck again; and I heard ashrieked straight forward.“Tiffany? You here Tiffany?” I said looking around for her as I walk forward.“Tiffany” I continued.‘Feelings you have for each other will not be known unless you voice them.But if you really care about your companion, sometimes you just have tonotice subtle hints they give you.’ my mother’s voice whispered inside myhead when I remembered of what she told me when I was fourteen.“Tiffany…” I said when I spotted Tiffany under a table with her ears covered

up while she shakes frightened.She looked up at me, “Howl…” she whispered, and then a thunder went andscared her. And she continued to cover her ears tightly.I was standing there, and then I got the table blanket off the table she wasunder. And covered her up and I putted my headphones in her ears andstarted the music; so she would not hear anything.And then I sat next to her, and moved her next to me, “sorry” I whispered.“I’m sorry… for leaving you all by yourself…. for saying mean things aboutyour good friend. Sorry” I continued when she slowly shut her eyes whilelistening to my music.“Thank you.” She whispered. “Howl”

There was rain coming down from my head and down to my chin, two roles of

rain dropped after she thanked me.‘No matter what happens, she’s still okay with everything. And no matter what happens, I will never leave her again.’ I said in my head when a thunderstruck again.“Sorry…” I continued holding her tightly.

Chapter 8:Stepbrothers

I woke up, and it’s late, it’s three o’clock in the morning. Mr. Forks interruptedmy sleep. His got his brown long jacket on.“What is it?” I asked when I was trying to open my eyes.

“Get up, and put on a jumper and quietly head down stairs.” He said beforeleaving the room.“What-“I murmured getting out of my bed and walked towards my closetgetting out my brown wool coat jacket.I didn’t really feel like getting up on an early morning. Because I willoversleep tomorrow—well today, which I don’t want, because I have classes,and I have to patrol.When I headed downstairs the lights outside was turned on while I’m walkingdown stairs.



Once I opened the door the first person I saw was a guy next to Mr. Forks. Iwas surprised to see him, wondering who he is.“Tiffany, this is Edward Blake. His family was murdered by… vile demons.”Mr. Forks said.

This Edward guy that Mr. Forks just introduced me completely stared at me,and it gave me a shocked. His got dark red eyes and a pale complexion.

“I decided for him to stay here in Forks Academy, but I’ll put him in theGuardian Academy, so please, prepare a bath for him and please take goodcare of him, I need to sort out something down town.” He ordered before heturned around and left me with him.Edward didn’t look at me but at the ground.I leaned my head forward. “Do you mind if I touch you? So I can lead you tothe bathroom?” I asked hoping that he’d say something.Edward seems upset, angry about something and I think because of thoseemotions he can’t stand to look at anyone right now.He didn’t say anything. So I reached out for him, and once I got a hold of lefthand, they were very—cold and made me shiver.“Come on.” I whispered walking him inside the Academy and closed the door

heading to the bathroom upstairs.Once we got there, there was already warm water in the tub. And it’s makingthe bathroom really steamy and warm.“Uh, I see that there’s already warm water in the tub. Well then… I’ll help youtake off your clothes.” I said when he came in and looked around the room.He still didn’t answer, but he did continually look away.I only took off his jacket, and then his white shirt underneath. But there wassomething on him, blood all over his left shoulder and chest. I got frightenedand I don’t even know why and what for.I started to shake, but I controlled to calm myself down.I turned around and got a sponge from the cabinet under the sink. And then Iwetted it with the warm hot water.

“Can I wipe this off?” I asked.He still didn’t say anything. So I moved forward and started to wipe all theblood off of him.‘Thank goodness, his not wounded.’ I whispered when I got really worriedwhen I saw the blood.

This is painful for me to see. Seeing a teenager so emotion because hisparents died. His just like me, no parents—no anyone.

It was that next morning. Last night after I sponged him and after he took abath, Mr. Forks took him to the Guardian Academy and assigned him to hisroom. I woke up this morning and got a change into my school uniform.“So where is this Edward guy anyway?” Donna asked when the two of us wassitting outside Forks Academy on a park bench.“I don’t know. But I think—“Suddenly there are girls chatting at Donna’s left and my left side. Donnalooked over first and she had a smile.“Is that him?” she asked standing up.I looked at her, and then looked at the person the girls are surrounding at.“Edward!” I murmured shocked to see him—in his Guardian Academyuniform.



He didn’t give me a smile. “Can I talk to you?” he asked.“Huh!” all the girls behind him said staring at me and then gave me a seriouslook afterwards.I looked away from them, and looked back to Edward.“Sure.” I said leaving all of them while the two of us walk away.

“I thank you, for what you did to me early on this morning, you must betired.” He said.

The tone in his voice is making me wonder why is there so much sadness thatI could hear?“No, that’s fine.” I said looking straight while the two of us is still walkingthrough the hallway outside the Academy.“I apologize, for not answering you—“I interrupted. “I get it. You’re missing your parents already right. I get it, it’slike me; I lost my parents when I was five years old. And I’ve forgotten aboutthem, because my mom and dad decided to erase my memories.”Edward seemed shocked, surprised. “Why-why did they do that?” he asked.I looked over to him. “Well, Mr. Forks said that they wanted me to have a

normal human life. And for me to live happily living as a normal human.” Ireplied before I looked away.He didn’t say anything else. But once we were continually walking I lookeddown at his right hand. And they were pale, and I’ll know if it’s cold, becausethe way I felt his chest last night, they were cold; so I noticed that the wholeof his body would be cold—but why?“What are you?” I asked.He hummed and looked down at me. I shook my head and noticed what I justasked.“I’m sorry—what I meant to say was… since that you know demons, do youhave any advanced powers or—““No-I don’t. I kind of—fight.” He said sounding like his lying, but how can I be

sure?I was about to say ‘oh!’ until I bumped into someone with a really hard chest.“Tiffany!” it’s Evan.“Evan!” Edward said.“Edward!” Evan said.

They were both shocked. “Tiffany stay behind me” Evan said staring atEdward angrily when he moved in front of me.“Evan what are you—“Evan interrupted. “What are you doing here?” he asked.“I have reasons.” Edward replied giving him angry frowns back.“And what is that?” Evan asked.I’m holding Evan’s left arm with my left hand, staring at Edward in acomplete focus.“Remember what I said to you last week, that I’d come back for you knowwho” Edward replied again.Evan was shocked and looked at me. I looked at Edward continually. Shockedand I don’t even know what their talking about. Come back for whom?“Okay wait a minute. What-are you guys talking about?” I asked moving infront the two of them.“How do you know each other?” I asked.



Evan took a big sigh. “Edward is—my stepbrother.” He said.I was even more shocked. I moved my side fringe looking down. Then Irealized that Edward’s last name is Blake, and so is Evan’s.I looked back up, at the two of them.

After all the confusion of talk early on this morning, Evan, Edward and I went

to Mr. Fork’s office and we needed to talk. I needed to talk to him, and I wanthim to give me the right answers.“So are you saying Edward and Evan are really stepbrothers?” I asked when Iwas in between Edward and Evan.He nodded. “How did they become stepbrothers?” I asked continually.He stood up, staring outside his window behind his table.“Nine years ago Evan’s parents where brutally murdered by—demons.Somehow Evan survived staying at his house for nearly two weeks withoutdoing anything but sat there with his parents as they lie on the cold bloodyfloor. The neighbors found Evan; they putted him in the orphanage. Andthat’s how Edward’s mom and dad found Evan. They loved and cared abouthim like he was their own child. Three weeks later Evan wanted to spend time

with Edward. They got along and even called themselves ‘best friends’.”I’m shocked, Edward and Evan—best friends.“But their parents saw something bad about Edward and they didn’t wantEvan hanging around with him anymore. Edward was all alone, sad and hadno one, because his parents never gave him love.” He continued still staringoutside the window.I looked down, and then looked at Edward at my left side. He wasn’t lookingbut had a frown just staring at Mr. Forks. I looked at Evan, and he did thesame thing. Afterwards I looked back to Mr. Forks.“So, if they were best friends before how come they seem angry at eachother?” I continued.“Well-“he turned around and nearly said something, until Edward interrupted

rudely.“It’s because I got jealous and seeing them happy around him it even mademe more jealous—most of all… he started to make me hate him.”

The way Edward talks, there really is so much hatred in him. I mean I hardlyknow him and I’ve only known him early this morning. But there’s so much inhis eyes, and his toned voice… I can’t stand it.I bit my lip looking back to Mr. Forks.“How did you know all of this, Dad?” I asked.He turned around. “Because, I was a great friend of the Blake family.” Hereplied.

After asking Mr. Forks of some of the things I wanted to know, I was the firstone who left the room without saying anything else. I went patrolling ForksAcademy right after I left. Suddenly Edward was walking up the stairstowards me with both of his hands in his pocket.“What are you doing here?” I asked.He stopped in front of me. “Mr. Forks offered me a job.” He said.“What is it?”“I’m a Guardian, just like you.” He continued.I’m surprised. “Why did he offer you that?” I asked.



“He knew that you’d ask that. He said it’s for your own sake.” He replied.I made a frown. And I know what he meant, but I don’t need protection fromanyone, because I can take care of myself.

Chapter 9:

A vampireIt’s been nearly a week since Edward has stayed here in Forks Academy, andguarding the Academy with him it’s actually great. Edward is seriouslynothing like the other guys I know. He is very different, and a very emotionalguy who doesn’t like to show it to anyone.Edward and I finished patrolling the Warrior Academy today. Its lunch timeand Mr. Forks wanted Edward and me to have lunch together. He says thathis proud of the two of us working hard of keeping every Academy safe.“Here! Traditional tomato and parsley mayonnaise mixed with traditionalround vegetables and meatballs and cream!” he said preparing the plates onthe table walking around with his pink apron and matching hot gloves on.“Hand made- Hand made- Hand made” he continually said before he walked

away leaving the two of us in the kitchen here in Forks Academy.“And I thought he wouldn’t be at it so early in the morning” Edward saidlooking at his plate with food on it.“Though it’s sort of difficult to call it ‘traditional’…” I said eating a piece of tomato that I got on my plate.“Okay, cheese-!” Mr. Forks suddenly came back in the kitchen and then tooka shot of Edward and me. I had my fork inside my mouth and it was half wayout. And Edward just sat there with a straight face shocked to see Mr. Forkstaking a photo.“What the hell are you doing all of a sudden?!” Edward muttered angrily.“Commemorative photo, because today Tiffany you will not be performingthe job ‘Guardian’, but instead will do the true job of prefect for the first time”

he replied happily when the picture came outEdward and I didn’t know what he was talking about, especially me.
