AGENDAFACULTY/SPEAKERS ACTIVITIES IN LEXINGTONCardiovascular disease effects the population of Kentucky more so than any other state. Not only is it the primary cause of death in Kentucky but a recent report from the Centersfor Disease Control highlighted that Kentuckians have the highest incidence ofindividuals with multiple cardiovascular risk factors. Some specific disease states are particularly challenging and the focus of thisyear’s annual update will be some of these patient care situations.
